The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 368: Preparations for Announcement

”Pandora, what are you doing?” Elena asks, seeing me sitting on the throne in a very strange way while touching the air and apparently ”doing nothing.” Iʼve been here for at least 3 hours already.

”Iʼm tinkering with the system. My birthday was yesterday, and I decided I canʼt wait any longer. I already know the abilities of the heroes and the plans of all the enemies, so now itʼs time to declare war,” I say, leaving Elena surprised.

”Yes?”

”Donʼt you get it, Elena? Iʼm going to declare war on the whole world now. More precisely, Iʼm going to announce that the war has completely begun. Thereʼs no more waiting, and I canʼt stand waiting any longer,” I say with a smile, already imagining the bloodbath this war will be.

Iʼve held back for too long to discover the heroesʼ abilities. There were so many things I could have done, but I had to limit myself because strategy is important. But now that I know each heroʼs unique ability, thereʼs no reason to wait for the humans to attack me. Iʼm going to force them to come sooner.

Iʼve already created the necessary spells for the entire war that I had deduced before. They are very useful, and Iʼm more than ready for this.

There are exactly three spells that I created. Two of them are for my own use, and one I created for others to use to create the teleportation traps that teleported strong people to pre-defined locations to face the strongest members of my troop.

It was a bit difficult to create some of them, and it took a lot of effort from me, but because of my high level, it was possible to create them with the best possible range, effect, and cost.

So they have exactly the effects I wanted, an extremely high range covering my entire territory if I want, and the mana cost reduced to the minimum.

[Ominus Nebula] Large-scale magic that converts pre-defined corpses into food such as meat, bone meal, oil, and condensed nutrients. The magic uses the userʼs body as the central pillar, and all food is transported to a target area with an automatic effect after being cast.

[Spatial Chain] Teleportation magic with a trap lock, forms a magic circle that instantly teleports targets above a certain power to locations that have the opposite magic circle.

[Living Spatial Pillar] Spatial magic that steals 10% of the mana from a target area to power other magic or a massive teleportation, with the area being definable at any time by the user.

I will use the Ominus Nebula spell so that all the dead in the war, whether allies or enemies, will become food that will be transported to my castle for basic supply logistics before being sent back to the troops.

The Spatial Chain is the one that my troops like Lilith, Freya, and Elena have prepared as a trap to teleport strong people to specific locations.

And the Living Spatial Pillar is for me to steal 10% of the mana from the population of my kingdom for use in various spells, such as the teleportation magic of the traps and my own teleportation magic.

I will use these three spells in the war, and Iʼve already marked the area with some of them already active and ready to be used at any moment.

”So do you need anything, Pandora?” Elena speaks, but I shake my head. I donʼt need her help in the announcement Iʼm about to make. Now that Iʼm strong, I can make this announcement alone for as long as I want.

”I have everything I need. Not even the broadcast equipment is necessary, as a goddess I have access to the system,” I say to her, finishing adjusting one of the last parts of the system. It will broadcast my message to the whole world.

”Oh, actually, if you want to help, could you please get that glove I saved for a special occasion and that black dress?” I say, sitting on the throne correctly.

”Immediately, Pandora!!” Elena says, running out to get what I asked for, probably also bringing maids to help me put on the dress.

”Letʼs see... should I give a speech? A threat? Or a simpler warning?” Itʼs been two years since I was born, and at the beginning, Elena herself stipulated that the war would happen in about two to five years.

And five years was if we were lucky, but in the end, considering everything that happened, there are at most 4 months left until the war. So itʼs really only been two years.

Not that it matters. Iʼve already reached the maximum power as a demon king, although Iʼm just at the beginning of godly power. But itʼs fine, I donʼt need those 4 months until they decide to invade. Iʼll force them to invade before I invade their kingdom.

”That should be enough to kill those bastards,” I murmur, thinking about the image I want to convey in the war broadcast. Normally I could try to invade the enemies first.

But I donʼt want that, not only because itʼs not as fun, but also because in demon territory I have the advantage, and I wonʼt waste the advantage my troops have.

Itʼs not just the advantage of the terrain. Thereʼs the advantage of our territory not having adequate resting places for enemies due to the monsters, lack of water, and lack of food.

”I think I donʼt need a too human-like image,” I murmur, thinking about my body and the image I want to convey. Thereʼs no need to use my current appearance. This is not just another warning, itʼs a declaration of war from the demon king against the world.

”I think Iʼve decided.” I start using [Essence of Creation] to create a mask. Itʼs a black mask with six white markings that look like eyes, but in a malicious way, and the mask has no markings for the mouth and nose.

The mask has a slightly football-shaped form, but with a different width and length ratio for my face.

”Does it look good enough?” I put the mask on my face. Itʼs pleasant, with a design that instills terror when properly matched with an outfit.

”Pandora!! I brought what you asked for,” Elena enters the throne room with maids carefully carrying my dress and gloves.

”Great,” I say to her, placing the mask on the throne. Using Essence of Creation, I create two more pairs of the same glove as replicas.

”Here, youʼll need these,” I say, handing the gloves to the maids as I partially release my true form, gaining six arms. The maids quickly come to remove my current clothes and put on the new ones, adjusting them for my extra arms.

They carefully put on the gloves, and I notice that the ring appeared above the glove. It seems I canʼt even hide this cursed item. Grimm really did an annoying job.

”What do you think, Your Majesty?” The maid asks after finishing putting on the elegant black dress. Itʼs a full-body dress with matte black ruffles that blend with the common black, forming an elegant and incredibly gloomy design, like something youʼd wear to a funeral if you want to draw attention.

”Hmm... looks good enough,” I say, taking the mask and putting it on my face while looking at my arms and seeing how the gloves fit them well.

”What do you think? Do I look terrifying enough for human standards or something like that?” I say, and the maids approve with smiles. Soon, Grimm enters the throne room with Azazel.

”Oh!! Mama Pandoru!!” Azazel runs to me, jumping on my thigh and recognizing me without any problems, even with the mask and extra arms.

”Daughter, please donʼt jump on me. Youʼll mess up my dress, and I have to declare war on the world,” I say, holding her with the lower pair of arms and lifting her off the ground. She gives me a smile without understanding, while Grimm stares at my body.

”Testing something new?” Grimm asks me.

”No, just showing a bit of what I really am,” I say, and Grimm gives me a strange smile.

”You look beautiful like that,” she compliments me in such an honest way that I find it strange, especially with that perverse and somewhat disgusting smile she has on her face.

”You... forget it.” Itʼs obvious that itʼs some strange fetish of hers. I couldnʼt expect anything normal from her and her disgusting sexual fetishes. I can recognize it by the color of her emotion.

ʼShe got excited about the extra arms?ʼ What a pervert. Itʼs not like Iʼm ugly. In fact, Iʼm absurdly beautiful, but considering the mask made to intimidate and the fact that I have 6 arms, itʼs not really something designed to convey the idea of something sexually attractive.

”Mama Pandoru, do the bad humans want to hurt you?” Azazel says with a frowning face, showing her cute vampire fangs, and I nod, petting her head with one arm while caressing her face with another.

”Yes, they want to, but they wonʼt succeed. Iʼm very strong,” I say, giving her a tight hug and putting her on the ground.

”Hehehehe, I like the six-arm hugs,” she says, all excited with a silly smile on her face.

”Now go with Grimm, because Iʼm busy to take care of you right now,” I say, briefly adjusting the glove and smoothing the dress to make sure there are no wrinkles or any dirt.

”Okay, Mama Pandoru,” she says, running to Grimm, while Grimm gives me one last look and a nod with a smile before leaving.

”Could everyone please leave? I want silence and an empty space,” I say, and soon everyone starts to leave. Grimm gives me one last look and a wave with a smile before exiting as well, leaving me alone.

”Just one last modification to the system...” I murmur, turning my attention back to the system. I want it to broadcast the message to the whole world, but without heavy modifications, so I donʼt suffer any punishment for using something beyond my authority.

”I think thatʼs enough,” I finish everything, preparing the system to transmit the message to the world. I let out a sigh, getting ready for it while I start counting down to the transmission activation.

”3... 2... 1...”
