Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

651  Godking Legacies Start to Appear

The factions of the Western Cosmos, the Southern Cosmos, and even the Jiang Clan all observed in awe as the Heavenly Jade Pavilion and their allies rapidly developed their technologies and exchanged innovative ideas. This collaboration advanced their array formations, weapon craftsmanship, forging techniques, herb cultivation methods, elemental insights, and understanding of the Great Dao laws. The Heavenly Jade Pavilion was not only growing but also helping all their allied factions to flourish.

Yun Tian, Dong Zhuo, and Jiang Chen, along with the members of their respective factions, understood the implications of this progress. It signaled that the Heavenly Jade Pavilion had absolute confidence in their alliances. They were unafraid of betrayal, showcasing the sectʼs immense power and influence. This instilled a sense of superiority of the Heavenly Jade Pavilion in the minds of everyone in the Eastern Cosmos.

Realizing the precarious position of his clan, Jiang Chen ordered the Jiang Clan to relocate their base to the Northern Cosmos. He knew they would remain in great danger if they stayed in the Eastern Cosmos. The Devil Race of the Northern Cosmos had a long-standing grudge against the Heavenly Jade Pavilion, so they were unlikely to oppose the Jiang Clanʼs settlement.

Meanwhile, Yun Tianʼs factions in the Western Cosmos, including the Dragon Emperor Star Godʼs faction, the Tyrannical Emperor Star Godʼs faction, the Ghost Emperor Astral Spiritʼs faction, the Brahma Divine Star Goddessʼs faction, and the Nether Empress Astral Spiritʼs faction, all assumed defensive stances within their respective stars in the Eastern Cosmos. Similarly, Dong Zhuoʼs factions in the Southern Cosmos, comprising his wifeʼs Nature Clan and his fatherʼs Corrupt Dragon Clan, also opted for a defensive strategy. They recognized that openly opposing the Heavenly Jade Pavilion and their allies would be a losing battle.

Amidst this, Wang Jian and his concubine Yu Qing, the Scarlet Slaughtering Star Goddess, decided to venture into the galaxy where the factions of the Western Cosmos were located. They targeted the star where the Nether Empress Astral Spirit resided. Disguised and undetected, they flew into the atmosphere of the star and reached the palace where the Nether Empress Astral Spirit was deep in cultivation.

The Nether Empress Astral Spirit sat in the courtyard, absorbing astral energy with intense concentration. Wang Jianʼs eyes roamed over her seductive figure, taking in her flawless skin and curvaceous body. Yu Qing noticed his gaze and smiled knowingly but remained silent.

Breaking the silence, Wang Jian commanded, ”Nether Empress Astral Spirit, open your eyes.”

The Nether Empressʼs eyes snapped open, shock flickering across her face as she saw Wang Jian and Yu Qing standing before her. She stood up quickly, adopting a defensive stance. ”Why are you here?” she demanded.

Wang Jian chuckled, clearly amused. ”Calm down. If I intended to harm you, I wouldnʼt have woken you like this. I could have done something to you without you even sensing my presence.”

Suspicion lingered in her eyes. ”Then answer me, Wang Jian. What are you doing here?”

Wang Jianʼs smile widened. ”Iʼve come to seek your assistance. I need your help to turn the Brahma Divine Star Goddess into my slave.”

The Nether Empressʼs expression turned cold. ”Why come to me with such an evil plan? Brahma Divine Star Goddess and I are both wives of Yun Tian and belong to the same side.”

Yu Qing snorted derisively. ”Donʼt play innocent. We know how much you despise the Brahma Divine Star Goddess. It was she who annihilated the royal family of the Nether Race Astral Spirits in the Western Cosmos. Your hatred for her is no secret.”

The Nether Empressʼs eyes narrowed, but a smile tugged at her lips. ”I should have expected the Scarlet Slaughtering Star Goddess to know. Itʼs true, I once sought vengeance against her, but after becoming Yun Tianʼs wife, I let go of that grudge.”

Yu Qing rolled her eyes. ”Youʼre not fooling anyone. We know you still harbor that hatred. Your hands are just tied because sheʼs also Yun Tianʼs wife. But weʼre here to help you unleash that grudge.”

Wang Jian stepped forward. ”I will seek vengeance against the Brahma Divine Star Goddess for you. Together, we can make her suffer.”

Hatred flashed in the Nether Empressʼs eyes, and she could no longer conceal it. ”Very well,” she said, her voice laced with venom. ”What do you need me to do?”

They sat down to discuss their plan. The Nether Empress explained that Yun Qianying, the Brahma Divine Star Goddess, was a cunning beauty who skillfully used her looks, intelligence, and strength. However, she was deeply in love with Yun Tian, even going so far as to adopt his surname.

Wang Jian asked, ”Is her love for Yun Tian because of his talent?”

The Nether Empress shook her head. ”No, Yun Qianying has divine talent herself. Itʼs more likely that her physique experiences a special attraction to Yun Tian, causing her to believe she can achieve rapid advancement in cultivation with him.”

Wang Jian nodded thoughtfully. ”Then we must make her believe that she can experience even more rapid growth by coming to my side. That will be the key to subduing her without alerting Yun Tian.”

With their plan in place, Wang Jian and Yu Qing left the star and returned to their palace in Astral Jade City. Once back, Wang Jian immersed himself in a series of meetings, organizing a grand conference three days later.

On the day of the conference, the grand hall of the Heavenly Jade Pavilion was filled with the leaders of various cultivation families and sects. Wang Jian stood before them, exuding confidence and authority.

”Esteemed leaders,” he began, ”I am pleased to announce that we will be opening academies in the stars of all our allied factions. These academies will focus on teaching advanced studies in array formations, weapon craftsmanship, herb cultivation, elemental insights, and the Great Dao laws. Our goal is to equip the next generation with the best knowledge available.”

The leaders murmured in approval, recognizing the value of such an initiative.

”Additionally,” Wang Jian continued, ”we will create a central repository of knowledge. This repository will house scrolls, texts, and artifacts, making them accessible to all allied factions. It will foster continuous learning and innovation.”

Elder Li of the Golden Lotus Sect spoke up. ”This is a brilliant initiative, Wang Jian. By sharing knowledge, we can ensure that our alliance remains strong and united.”

Wang Jian smiled. ”Indeed. This repository will be a testament to our unity and our commitment to progress. Let us continue to work together, exchanging ideas and pushing the boundaries of our knowledge.”

The leaders nodded in agreement, their respect for Wang Jian deepening. They knew that under his leadership, the Heavenly Jade Pavilion and their allies were destined for greatness.

As the conference concluded, Wang Jian felt a sense of fulfillment. The future was bright, and with the support of his allies, he was confident that they would overcome any challenge. Together, they would forge a legacy that would endure for generations to come.

Time flew by, and soon the Eastern Cosmos was abuzz with unprecedented news: one of the Godking legacies had been discovered. This incredible find was made by none other than Jiang Chen of the Jiang Ancient Family. After obtaining this powerful legacy, Jiang Chen promptly went into seclusion, no doubt to assimilate and master his newfound power.

But the surprises did not end there. Shortly after, Dong Zhuo, a prominent figure from the Southern Cosmos, also uncovered a Godking legacy on an ancient battlefield star within the Eastern Cosmos. Both discoveries shook the cosmos, sending ripples through all factions.

Interestingly, both Godking legacies were found on what were essentially mortal planets. These worlds, mundane and unremarkable in the grand scheme of divine cultivation, had recently been subdued by the respective stars of Dong Zhuo and Jiang Chenʼs factions. Their discoveries were purely by chance, a stroke of luck that these legacies had been hidden in such unassuming places.

The faction of the Western Cosmos was thrown into complete chaos upon learning of these discoveries. Dong Zhuoʼs legacy took the form of a Divine Wooden Dragon, an artifact of the Southern Cosmos Godking, while Jiang Chenʼs legacy was the Chaotic Storm Fairy, belonging to an Eastern Cosmos Godking. With these two powerful legacies now in the hands of their rivals, the Western Cosmos was desperate to find a Godking legacy for Yun Tian.

The urgency was palpable. Without a Godking legacy, the Western Cosmos risked falling behind the Southern Cosmos and even the Northern Cosmos, where the Jiang Clan had resettled. This would lead to a dramatic shift in the power structure, with the Western Cosmos losing its dominance.

Despite their frantic search, the final two Godking legacies—one being the Great Astral Galaxy Dragon from the Western Cosmos Godking and the other, the Angelic Devil True God from the Northern Cosmos Godking—eluded them. These legacies were eventually found by the Heavenly Jade Pavilion, but there was a catch: they could only be utilized by Yun Tian of the Western Cosmos and Huang Zhi of the Northern Cosmos.

Wang Jian, however, did not destroy these two legacies. Instead, he wisely stored them away. He knew that these powerful artifacts could serve as valuable bargaining chips with Yun Tian and Huang Zhi. Keeping this information sealed, he enjoyed the thought of Yun Tian and Huang Zhi exhausting themselves in their futile search for these legacies.
