Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 20 Kissing Su Xian

”W-What?! This is Brother Fengʼs childhood sweetheart, Su Xian?!” Kang Huian could hardly believe those words. She couldnʼt help but wonder why this woman was wearing a maid uniform at this moment.

However, she gazed at Wang Jian and guessed that this evil bastard must have coerced her.

”…Yes, Brother Lin and I were childhood friends,” Su Xian confirmed Kang Huianʼs suspicions.

”Why are you serving this bastard?!” Kang Huian asked indignantly.

Su Xian frowned slightly upon hearing this question and Kang Huianʼs tone. She was about to respond that Wang Jian spoke up, ”Just because your husband hates me doesnʼt mean that everyone else also does. She is my dear maid who obeys my every word, right Xianʼer?”

As he spoke these words, Wang Jian pulled Su Xian into his arms and hugged her rather lovingly.

Kang Huianʼs eyes nearly fell out of her eyeballs as she noticed that Su Xian wasnʼt even resisting his hug that much. It only seemed as if she was embarrassed rather than disgusted.

”My dear maid wanted to ask you if Lin Feng really married you,” Wang Jian spoke.

Kang Huian clenched her fists as she recalled that Wang Jian had made her break her marriage contract with Lin Feng just a day earlier.

”…Yes. We were happily married!” Kang Huian responded boldly.

Those words were the final hammer to the coffin.

Wang Jian internally smiled. Meanwhile, Su Xian, who had anticipated this answer, couldnʼt help but be shaken.

He gazed at her reaction, and it was remarkable. She seemed disappointed yet livid.

ʼShe shouldnʼt need any more motivation than this, right?ʼ

”Get some more rest. I will begin your detoxification procedure soon,” Wang Jian spoke as he led Su Xian outside the infirmary.

Kang Huian was left in infirmary, entirely puzzled by the scenario.

After leaving the infirmary, Wang Jian faced Su Xian and spoke, ”This should be enough confirmation for you, right? After I took you away, Lin Feng did marry three other women. His feelings for you werenʼt as deep as you had imagined. Just think, if he can accept other woman to replace your presence, canʼt you do the same?”

His words struck Su Xianʼs heart, and she was honestly very puzzled at this moment. She felt as if something was wrong but couldnʼt exactly place her finger on it.

Wang Jian knew that now was the time to strike while the iron was hot. He added, ”If you think deeply, you will realize that I am better than Lin Feng in almost every way. I am much stronger. I have a royal status as the Seventh Prince of the Everlasting Mystical Empire. You will gain the status of a Noble Concubine after marrying me. Moreover, your familyʼs status and conditions will greatly improve. Think of your happiness, your loved oneʼs happiness.”

”C-Can I take some time to think about it?” Su Xian asked.

Wang Jian instantly responded, ”No. This is your final opportunity. If you donʼt make up your mind now, I will consider this as rejection. You will remain my maid forever, losing the chance to ever rise in status.”

”So, tell me now. Are you ready to take the leap towards true happiness, or do you wish to continue drowning in the depths of despair?! The decision is yours but choose wisely,” Wang Jian finished speaking.

There was a confident smile on his face as he awaited her answer. There really wasnʼt much to think as this was a heaven-sent opportunity for her.

This would change her status, wealth, protection, and even happiness. In fact, even her family would receive some benefits.

Although Su Xianʼs feelings for Lin Feng werenʼt strong enough that she would die for him, she never would have thought of marrying Wang Jian, who was their enemy. However, this changed when Wang Jian painted a completely different image of Lin Feng in her mind.

In Su Xianʼs mind, Lin Feng had been transformed into a playboy who didnʼt even care about losing her and was enjoying his life with his wives in the forest.

Sure enough, Su Xianʼs rosy lips parted as she murmured, ”…Yes. I…I agree to this proposal.”

The confident smile on Wang Jianʼs face widened as he had anticipated this answer.

He suggested, ”Letʼs seal the deal with a kiss.”

As Wang Jian made the suggestion, a rosy blush crept up Su Xianʼs cheeks, betraying her thoughts. Her heart was beating faster as she gazed at Wang Jian, and a mix of excitement and nervousness began to fill her mind.

Without saying a word, Su Xian slowly approached Wang Jian, her body trembling slightly with anticipation. She could feel the warmth emanating from his body, and as she got closer, she stood on her tiptoes to reach his lips.

Their lips met, and for a moment, time stood still as they savored the sensation. The kiss was tender at first but quickly became more passionate, and Su Xian wrapped her arms around Wang Jian, pulling him in closer.

As they parted, Su Xianʼs eyes met Wang Jianʼs, and she could see the desire burning in them. It was clear to her that he wanted her, and the feeling was mutual. With a nod of her head, she silently conveyed her agreement to Wang Jianʼs suggestion, and they both knew that they were about to embark on a journey that would change their lives forever.

At this moment, Wang Jian heard multiple notifications from the system, but he ignored them and kissed Su Xian again.

He felt that since Su Xian had willingly agreed to a relationship with him, the world essence couldnʼt really harm him.

”Return to your room while I go and treat Kang Huian of her poison,” Wang Jian stated.

Su Xian slowly nodded. She was about to walk away when Wang Jian suddenly added, ”You can change out of these clothes. Ask the servants to bring you a change of clothing.”

”…Alright,” Su Xian nodded. These words greatly delighted her as this meant her status in the mansion had changed from a maid to a mistress.
