Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 2 Status And World Essence

Wang Jian was utterly speechless as he realized his current predicament.

”The heck is this situation? If this goes on, I will be fighting a protagonist.”

Wang Jian knew what this meant. He would become the protagonistʼs stepping stone and help him act cool. He naturally didnʼt want such a thing to happen.

Just as he was thinking about ways to deal with this situation, he heard a mechanical voice in his head.

[The fusion of souls is complete.]

”Who was that?” Wang Jian asked aloud.

[Greetings, Master. I am a part of your soul.]

”Interesting,” Wang Jian muttered.

”What can you do for me?”

[Master, I can help you cultivate and learn more skills by using destiny points.]

Wang Jian raised his brow as he heard this description. It felt awfully similar to a system.

ʼLetʼs try this.ʼ

”Display my status.”

[Yes, Master.]

[

Name: Wang Jian.

Age: 20 years old.

Destiny Points: 100.

Cultivation: First Stage of Spirit Realm.

Skills: Origin Fist, Beam of Destruction, and Mystic Force.

Bloodline: Devil Blood (Dormant).

Physique: Chaotic Yang Body (Dormant).

Spirit: Dark Spirit Viper (Three Star Spirit).

]

Wang Jian let out a sigh as he saw his status screen.

In this world, there were nine ranks of cultivation.

True Realm.

Spirit Realm.

Origin Realm.

Lord Realm.

King Realm.

Emperor Realm.

Saint Realm.

Immortal Realm.

Transcendent Realm.

There are only a couple of Emperor Realm cultivators in the Everlasting Mystical Empire and all of them worked for the Royal Family. Wang Jianʼs father, the Emperor is also an Emperor Realm expert.

In this world, all cultivators start cultivating from the True Realm. They develop their True Qi and slowly strengthen it in this realm.

After reaching the Spirit Realm, they awaken their Spirit. The Spirit they awaken is the shape of their soul. It could be a spirit in the form of a beast or a tool spirit.

Thus, after reaching the Spirit Realm, a cultivator changes his cultivation technique to suit his Spirit.

Unfortunately for Wang Jian, he reached the Spirit Realm after he was banished from the Royal Palace.

He could no longer look for the spectacular cultivation techniques in the Royal Palace suited for his Spirit.

Actually, Wang Jian could have requested his mother to send him a cultivation technique. It would be very challenging for his mother to send a cultivation technique while concealing it from the Emperor, but she could do it.

However, Wang Jian chose not to take this risk. He knew that his Spirit wasnʼt anything impressive. It was merely a 3-Star Spirit and didnʼt hold much potential. He didnʼt want his mother to risk herself for such a minor task.

”System, what are destiny points? How do I earn them?” Wang Jian asked as he noticed this category in his status screen.

[Master, each individual in this world is born with a part of World Essence. This world essence defines their destiny. However, there are certain individuals that are born with a special part of World Essence. They can be protagonists, heroines, underlings, and villains.]

[To earn destiny points, the Master must significantly affect the emotional state of these individuals possessing great providence. Through this method, you can shave off their luck. Once their luck has exhausted, they will no longer receive the protection of the world.]

Wang Jianʼs brows twitched upon hearing this description.

ʼIs this system suggesting me to go pick up a fight against a protagonist?!ʼ

”What do you mean by affecting the emotional state? Must it be negative?” Wang Jian asked.

[The type of emotion doesnʼt matter. The only requirement is that it must be intense enough.]

Wang Jian was satisfied upon hearing this description. It would be a pity if he was forced to kill all heroines.

Wang Jian suddenly raised his brows in surprise as this thought entered his mind.

ʼInteresting. I didnʼt think I would be so reluctant to act against a woman. Is this the effect of my soul fusing with this brat? Well, it should be fine as long as it doesnʼt hinder me greatly.ʼ

”What exactly can you do with destiny points?” Wang Jian asked. If he was to fight against a protagonist, he had to know precisely what he was capable of.

[Using Destiny Points, the system can assist the Master in learning and mastering skills. Activating or Transforming Masterʼs physique and bloodline. Increase Masterʼs Cultivation. Fuse Spirits. Blend herbs. Concoct Poison. Analyze opponents.]

”What is in the system shop? Also, open the beginnerʼs package. Let me check it out,” Wang Jian spoke.

As an avid novel reader, Wang Jian was familiar with the basic properties of a system. He knew that each system possessed a system mall or a shop. They would even provide a beginnerʼs package.

[Master, there is no system shop or a beginnerʼs package.]

Wang Jianʼs complexion turned pale as he heard this statement. He felt as if this was a scam.

[Master, the system is a part of your soul. My abilities can only help you realize your potential. I canʼt do something that is even beyond your potential.]

Wang Jianʼs eyes widened, ”My potential?”

He didnʼt expect that the systemʼs abilities would be related to his potential.

Wang Jian fell into deep thought as he brainstormed about how he should utilize this system.

Very soon, a clever scheme appeared in his head. If his rivals from the previous world saw Wang Jianʼs expression, their complexion would turn pale immediately. They knew that this expression implied he was about to deceive someone badly.
