Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 15 Utilizing Destiny Points

”Whatever. Deduct 100 Destiny Points and compare my luck to the protagonist Lin Fengʼs,” Wang Jian commanded the system.

Wang Jian was stunned to observe the immense disparity between his own good fortune and that of Lin Feng. He realized that it would require tireless effort and perseverance even to come close to equaling Lin Fengʼs seemingly endless run of luck.

”I have another doubt. What if the heroine accepts me and actually falls for me? Will the World Essence Defensive Protocol still occur?”

[No. That would become a special case. Moreover, if this occurs, Master will shave off a significant part of Lin Fengʼs Protagonist Halo.]

Wang Jian was relieved to hear that statement. Fortunately, all was not lost. His tactic would still work.

His plan to corrupt Su Xian will most likely work.

Wang Jian was acutely aware, however, that he only had a limited window of opportunity to execute his plan effectively, as Lin Feng was due to return in just a matter of five days.

After Lin Feng returns, he will most likely unlock the second seal of his sword and possess power to defeat an Origin Realm Cultivator.

Wang Jian knew he had to acquire Destiny Points quickly. Otherwise, when Lin Feng returns, he will easily slaughter Wang Jianʼs forces.

Naturally, Wang Jian didnʼt forget that he had another source of destiny points at this moment. Lin Fengʼs second wife, Kang Huian.

There was a specific reason Wang Jian chose her as his target for Devil Venom. It was because gaining her favorability was the easiest part. He just had to defeat her so thoroughly to make her believe that he was much superior to Lin Feng.

Fortunately, Wang Jian possessed 850 Destiny Points. He could upgrade and even learn new martial arts to completely dominate Kang Huian in battle.

Wang Jian was about to reach the second stage of the Spirit Realm, so he required only 50 Destiny Points for it. However, for the next realms, he required 100 Destiny Points. He invested a total of 350 Destiny Points in elevating his cultivation base to the fifth stage of the Spirit Realm.

As his cultivation realm rose, Wang Jian utilized 200 Destiny Points to upgrade his fist Origin Fist to the third level. While he used another 200 Destiny Points to upgrade his Beam of Destruction to the second level.

After these upgrades occurred, Wang Jian became very confident in his ability. Now, his only weakness was possessing no good movement skill.

Well, he decided to take care of it later.

The next day arrived rather quickly for Wang Jian as he spent it by meditating and consolidating his cultivation realm.

As the sun began to rise, Su Xian entered Wang Jianʼs room, carrying a tea set with grace and poise.

Wang Jian smiled upon seeing her and waited until she poured his tea before speaking, ”You are finally acting obediently. This makes me happy.”

Su Xian was taken aback by the unexpected words. She didnʼt know why, but she felt a strange emotion similar to happiness.

After Wang Jian had his tea, Su Xian carried the entire tea set and started walking out of the room.

While she was moving out, Wang Jian suddenly spoke, ”You can have today as your holiday. Go and meet your family.”

”Ehh? Really?!” Su Xian was excited to hear those sudden statements and couldnʼt help but ask instinctively.

”Yes,” Wang Jian spoke. He further added, ”This is all because you are finally acting as a proper maid.”

Su Xian was happy to hear the reason. She felt delighted to get up early and prepare this tea for Wang Jian.

She never expected Wang Jian actually grant her the freedom to reunite with her family after such a prolonged absence. Her heart swelled with the longing to see her loved ones again, the yearning growing stronger with each passing day.

Wang Jian observed Su Xianʼs elation with a smirk, not needing any notification from the system to gauge her in this moment.

He received a notification from the system that he had accrued 300 Destiny Points due to his successful efforts in leaving a positive impression in Su Xianʼs mind.

In fact, letting Su Xian meet her family was one of his strategies. Firstly, it would allow him to gain a positive impression in her mind.

Secondly, since the initiation of his plan to manipulate Su Xian, Wang Jian covertly convened with her family and coerced them. He cunningly manipulated her father with bribes and threatened her mother into submission. After Su Xian returns to her family, her closest family members convince her to accept Wang Jian.

While Su Xian was gone, Wang Jian decided it was time to work on the second heroine, Kang Huian.

Wasting no time, he made his way to the infirmary where Kang Huian was recuperating. Upon seeing him, the guards and servants made way. Wang Jian signaled for everyone to depart, granting him private time with Kang Huian.

”Itʼs no use pretending that you are asleep. Your breathing changed the moment I entered this room. I donʼt believe in such coincidences,” Wang Jian spoke coldly.
