CEO's Reborn Wife

”Nia said, Rachel Miller also brought along two children. What’s Rachel Miller up to now?” Jane Sampson pondered and speculated, ”Could Rachel Miller be going to give medical expenses to Nia? Seeing Nia’s plight on the internet realm, he decided to help her?”

After speaking, Jane Sampson shook her head again, ”No, Rachel Miller himself looks half-dead, if he donated money, he could just let the assistant handle it, there’s no need to go to Capital Province personally.”

The day after the last gathering, Rachel Miller left Capital Province, which Jane Sampson heard from Oscar Wilson.

Since James Black doesn’t like Rachel Miller, Jane Sampson doesn’t have much patience for him either.

After all, from the very beginning, when Rachel Miller appeared before her, it wasn’t in any particularly good way. Back then in the underground parking lot, Rachel Miller even startled Jane Sampson.

It was only later, seeing that they had been friends in the same game for many years, that Jane Sampson didn’t fuss too much with Rachel Miller.

”Wait for Sister Grace to call you back, let’s see what she says.” James Black comforted Jane Sampson.

She is an easily irritable little cat; once angry, once unhappy, her fur would bristle.

After speaking, James Black wanted to coax Jane Sampson into a lunch break, but Jane turned her head away, insisting on waiting for Sister Grace’s call.

But this waiting took more than half an hour before Sister Grace called Jane Sampson back.

”Boss, Nia said you have something important to discuss with me?” Sister Grace was startled by the notion of it being important.

”That little lass Nia~” Jane Sampson was amused, ”I didn’t say it was important, I just said there was something.”

The little lass’s mind supplement was a bit over the top.

”Sister Grace, when I was video calling Nia just now, I saw you talking to Rachel Miller. I wanted to ask what your relationship with him is,” Jane Sampson asked directly. Sister Grace was honest, so she felt there was no need to tiptoe around with her.

”Rachel Miller? Boss, are you talking about Mr. Miller?” At first, Sister Grace didn’t know who Rachel Miller was referring to, only realized a few seconds later that Jane Sampson might be talking about the Mr. Miller she had just met.

”I didn’t know Mr. Miller before. Just now, Mr. Miller suddenly came to the hospital to visit Nia, brought quite a few gifts for her. He said he saw the reports on the internet realm and felt for Nia, and I noticed Mr. Miller’s body was not very well either.”

Sister Grace said, ”Later, Mr. Miller called me out of the ward alone to talk. After taking me out, he introduced me to the two children, then suddenly told me he had a serious illness and might not live long, saying that after he passed, he hoped I could be the guardian for those two children, to look after them on his behalf.”

”Children?” Jane Sampson heard Nia say one was a boy and the other a girl, ”What is the relationship between those two children and him?”

”Mr. Miller said the boy is the son of his late eldest brother, and the girl is his daughter,” Sister Grace explained. ”Mr. Miller also told me that he has planned the future path for the two children, including which elementary school, middle school, high school, and university they will attend. He just hopes that Nia and I can live with them and wants me to be the children’s guardian, to help look after them.”

”Oh, right, Mr. Miller also said he would leave a huge inheritance for the two children. He fears the children’s guardianship might be taken away by others, and the children might not be able to keep the inheritance, so he wanted to find a trustworthy guardian for the children before he passed away,” Sister Grace said.
