Reborn as a Weak Beauty Pampered by All

Chapter 891: Chapter 891: It’s Settled

Kang Yiyang appeared serious, but a faint smile always lingered at the corner of his lips.

“I heard it clearly… Kang Yiyang, you can’t lie to me, otherwise… otherwise I’ll ask Auntie to stand up for me!”

Lin Dan casually wiped the corner of her eyes, naturally addressing Kang Li as “Auntie.” She looked straight into Kang Yiyang’s eyes: “Do you regret it now?”

Kang Yiyang shook his head with amusement: “We are not officially dating yet, how can you ask my Auntie to stand up for you? And the way you address my Auntie, is it…”

“I don’t care! Your Auntie is my Auntie, I’ve wanted to call her that for a long time!”

Lin Dan glared at Kang Yiyang, then quickly changed her expression like flipping a page, looking at the packed luggage of Kang Yiyang and asked: “Are you leaving the troupe now to go to Auntie’s house?”

“Yeah.”

Kang Yiyang nodded.

“Since you guys are going back home tomorrow, then… do you want to come to my house for a bit? My parents have a really good impression of you, and I want to bring you home so they can see you, after all, we’re already dating.”

Suppressing her joy, Lin Dan pretended to be calm as she made her suggestion.

“…Why?”

Kang Yiyang was puzzled: “You want me to go to your house now, is there any special meaning?”

“I want my parents to know that you’ve agreed to date me!”

Lin Dan said shyly: “So they won’t say I’m always having one-sided feelings and that I lack the reservations a girl should have.”

Upon hearing this, Kang Yiyang burst out laughing: “How about this, after the New Year, before I head to North City for school registration, I’ll formally visit your house to meet your parents. How about that?”

Before Lin Dan could make a sound, Kang Yiyang added: “I have to go back to my Auntie’s place soon, as we have to go home tomorrow, I need to see if Auntie and Uncle need any help.”

Lin Dan withheld her delight and nodded: “Okay! It’s settled then, you have to come to my house after the New Year, and I’ll have my parents prepare a big table of goodies to treat you.”

“Don’t.”

Kang Yiyang waved his hand: “I’m just going to visit your parents as a friend, there’s no need to make it too formal.”

“I got it. So when will you return to North City approximately?”

“At the latest, a week before school starts.”

“I’ll wait for you.”

“Okay.”

Kang Yiyang nodded.

As he picked up his rolled bedding, travel bag, and the large netted bag with a thermos and toiletries, Lin Dan quickly got up to lend a hand: “Let me carry some for you.”

“No need.”

Kang Yiyang lightly shook his head: “These things aren’t heavy, you can just close the dorm door behind me and later hand the key to Director Li.”

Director Li is the leader in charge of employee dorm allocation at the Cultural Work Troupe.

“Okay.”

Lin Dan replied, then after Kang Yiyang walked out of the dorm with his things, she casually pulled the door shut and briskly caught up with Kang Yiyang to walk side by side.

“Are you taking the bus to Auntie’s house?”

“Yeah.”

“Carrying so much stuff onto the bus is definitely inconvenient. Wait for me at the gate; I’m heading to my dad’s office for a bit.”

Not giving Kang Yiyang a chance to speak, Lin Dan turned and ran off.

About seven or eight minutes later.

In front of the Cultural Work Troupe gate.

“Get in the car, Commander Lin specifically arranged for Comrade Yu to drop you off.”

Lin Dan got out of a jeep, opened the back door, took the netted bag and travel bag from Kang Yiyang’s hands, put them in the car, and urged: “Don’t just stand there. If you don’t believe me, ask Comrade Yu if it was Commander Lin who personally gave the directive.”

“Comrade Kang, I really did receive a call from the Commander to give you a ride.”
