She Lives without Regret in This Life

Chapter 1204: Chapter 1272: An Incident Occurs

Based on the things Dong Shuhua did, she was not qualified to be buried in Babao Mountain, so her burial place was on a hillside not far from the National Cemetery.

In 1984, the burial system had not been fully implemented, and many people buried their deceased elders on a hill.

The place where Dong Shuhua was buried was a small slope at the foot of a hill.

The Detention Room’s vehicle parked outside the small slope, and Shen Yu walked heavily out of the car, flanked by prison guards holding guns. Behind him stood someone watching from a distance.

The head of the Detention Room was also afraid of an incident, so he sent four people to guard him.

Shen Yu walked to the grave, looking at Dong Shuhua’s black and white photo on the tombstone, a strange expression appeared on his face. He knelt on the ground with a thud and said to the photo, ”Do you know? I don’t hate anyone else, the one I hate the most is you. It’s you, the person I hate the most is you.”

His eyes showed ferocity, his dry, emaciated face twisted and frightening, ”It was your arrogance that made me suffer humiliation, I would rather die than live, I would rather die. Yet you deprived me of the chance to die.”

”What are you talking about?” A prison guard watched him babbling madly and asked in doubt.

Shen Yu ignored him and continued, ”You should be glad you died so early, otherwise I would make you regret giving birth to me. Since I was a child, you’ve taught me to strive for what I like and want by any means. Look, I’ve always followed what you taught me and ended up like this.”

”Hurry up, time’s up, don’t dawdle.” Another person, uneasy seeing Shen Yu’s twisted and ferocious appearance, urged impatiently.

”I can’t get up, help me.” Shen Yu kneeled on the ground without moving for a long time.

”You’re already a prisoner, why the young master’s temper?”

”Exactly, do you still think you’re some kind of leader?”

The two prison guards despised Shen Yu’s actions, and naturally, their tone and attitude were very harsh. Shen Yu sneered, his eyes as venomous as a poison snake. He hung his head and refused to stand up; finally, the two had no choice but to come forward and pull him.

At the moment of contact, taking advantage of their unpreparedness, he swiftly attacked with a razor blade hidden between his fingers, slicing through their necks.

Blood immediately covered the tombstone, and Dong Shuhua’s black and white photo was soaked in blood, turning bright red.

At the same time, two gunshots were heard as the driver in the car and the nearby sentry were taken down by Li Xia and Sinong simultaneously.

All four were dead.

Shen Yu shook his hands, and the sound of ankle cuffs and handcuffs clattered. He now often found himself in a daze, and his skills could no longer compare to before; let alone killing Xu Qigang, he couldn’t even handle Chen Yingjie himself.

”Director Shen is agile, still as impressive as back then!” Li Xia found the keys on the driver and walked to Shen Yu with a smile.

Shen Yu squinted and scrutinized her for a while, struggling to recognize her, finally saying, ”I never thought you would have a day like this.”

”Thanks to you.” Li Xia helped him remove the handcuffs and ankle cuffs, ”Scarface is dead, so now I’m the captain.”

”Who could have guessed back in the Southern Border.”

Li Xia gave him a meaningful look, ”Indeed, who could have guessed.” The meaning of the words was self-evident. Who could have imagined that the promising Director Shen would fall to such a state today?
