She Lives without Regret in This Life

Chapter 1153: Chapter 1216: You Truly Deserve to Die

”Sis!” An’an, who had been staring at Su Yun, should be said to have reacted the fastest. Just as Su Yun’s knife was about to stab Sheng Ning in the chest, she lunged forward and collided with Su Yun, causing the knife that was supposed to pierce the heart to deviate to the shoulder.

The sound of the knife tip entering flesh was clearly transmitted into the ears, but Sheng Ning didn’t feel any pain. She stared at Su Yun, then fiercely slapped her.

Even though the action deepened the wound, spraying blood out, she was indifferent.

”You truly deserve to die,”

This slap left Su Yun blank-headed, awkwardly crashing into the wreaths. The mountain of wreaths toppled like dominoes, instantly turning the funeral hall into chaos.

And at the moment Su Yun fell, a gleaming knife brushed her scalp and pinned to the ground. The hard marble floor cracked with several lines, the tip of the knife standing upright along them.

Su Yun gazed at the gleaming knife, touched the hair on her head that had been shaved off, and screamed in horror.

”Ah...”

However, nobody paid attention to her scream, because Sheng Ning had fallen in a pool of blood. That knife likely pierced an important blood vessel, and the blood flowed like it had no cost.

The white funeral hall was stained red.

”Xiao Ning.” Xu Qigang felt like he was going crazy. He held her in his arms, tearing his clothing into strips to administer rapid first aid. His usually steady hands now trembled uncontrollably.

”Xiao Ning, Xiao Ning, Xiao Ning...” Frantically, he kept calling her name, unable to utter anything else.

”Prepare the car to go to the hospital,” An’an shouted in panic. Ever since regaining her memory, she had been expressionless and cold, but now she clutched her head in pain, her vision darkening amid the sea of red.

”I’ll drive the car, quickly bring her out,” Su Huai’an reacted swiftly, rushing out at once.

When Su Hai, Su Jiang, and Meng Ping, who hadn’t had a chance to leave, arrived, they saw such a heart-wrenching scene.

”Ningning... Ningning...”

Everyone was stunned, Xu Qigang having completed the rescue, picked up Sheng Ning and sprinted outside. Su Huai’an’s car was also at the door, the two cooperated seamlessly, as the car barely stopped, Xu Qigang already had her in the car.

Su Huai’an stepped hard on the gas, dashing away at high speed.

Meng Ping, brimming with murderous intent, charged over to find Su Yun, but found only a knife on the ground. ”Where is she? Where did she run off to?” He roared angrily.

Others who reacted began searching everywhere but ended up finding nothing.

”Damn it.” Meng Ping pulled the knife out of the ground, now eager to kill Su Yun. He desperately wanted to kill her.

”She must have been taken away.”

Actually, in the chaos earlier, Su Yun had been dragged away by Li Xia, exiting from the back door. Once out of the funeral parlor, hiding behind a plethora of evergreen trees, Li Xia released Su Yun.

”Didn’t I tell you to hold her hostage? Why would you stab her?” Li Xia complained, if it weren’t for Su Yun being still valuable, she’d wish to shoot her right now.

This idiot woman, she was stupid to death.

She clearly instructed her to hold Sheng Ning, so she could use Sheng Ning to threaten the Living Yama. When the Living Yama’s wife and child were in her hands, she’d even make him die without hesitation.

Moreover, as long as an Elite Captain was well controlled, they could achieve too many things.
