I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 1091: Chapter 1091: Reunion in a Foreign Land

The progress of Xiyue and the others is astonishingly fast.

Lin Yi used a hidden skill, remaining in the shadows, watching this battle unfold.

He thought he would need to intervene to retain the usage rights of Treasure Blue Star, but unexpectedly, Xiyue and the others solved all the problems perfectly with their own skills.

As the four were cleaning the battlefield, Lin Yi appeared, clapping his hands.

”I initially thought I’d have to step in to help you with your oversights, but it seems my trip here was unnecessary.”

After not seeing each other for a long time, reuniting again, Xiyue couldn’t express the excitement in her heart and disregarded her image as a female War God, quickly moving forward and threw herself into Lin Yi’s arms.

Ao Shu did the same.

Having been apart from Lin Yi for long, she missed him greatly.

She was improving every day and had a lot to say to Lin Yi, talking about her recent achievements and how she could help relieve a lot of Lin Yi’s burdens now.

The Ao Shu who rushed towards Lin Yi had none of her earlier female Slaughter God demeanor, appearing just like a charming neighborhood little sister.

Nangong Ling hesitated for a while but didn’t advance.

Her eyes held an irrepressible look of disappointment; sometimes she just couldn’t understand why she had been so timid back then. After all, she was the one who met Lin Yi first, yet she never clearly expressed her feelings.

After a brief exchange, Lin Yi moved on to business.

Besides coming to help out, Lin Yi also needed to make a trip to the Upper Plane.

When the two external divine artifacts reach an enhancement level of +100, a powerful attribute can be activated, greatly boosting the user’s strength.

However, wanting to enhance equipment to +100 is something even Mr. Gongsu can’t manage. Raising equipment to level +99 is currently his limit.

Besides external divine artifacts, upgrading mythical equipment to level +99 seems more useful.

The three mythical equipment sets Lin Yi had assembled would nearly unlock the powerful abilities of mythical equipment upon reaching enhancement level +99, and with Mr. Gongsu’s ability, he could spend some time helping Lin Yi accomplish this, greatly improving Lin Yi’s combat power.

In the situation of scarce enhancement materials, why did Mr. Gongsu still choose to prioritize enhancing external divine artifacts?

For an enhancer, the upper limit of an equipment’s enhancement level cannot be determined solely by enhancement techniques.

To enhance equipment to the highest possible level, besides techniques, there are other decisive factors.

First, the level of enhancement materials, essentially high-grade enhancement source crystals.

Prior to knowing Mr. Gongsu, Lin Yi had never heard of these materials.

Having these high-grade enhancement source crystals can significantly increase the probability of successful enhancements in subsequent high-level enhancements, though it’s not about substantially increasing the success rate when enhancing equipment above +80.

Using ordinary enhancement materials can achieve it, but with not insignificant failure probability.

Once the enhancement level reaches +80 and above, equipment is highly likely to be damaged upon enhancement failure, though mythical equipment is alright; if not too troublesome, the failed equipment can be re-crafted.

But unique equipment like divine artifacts must have their enhancement succeed.

So acquiring a large number of high-grade enhancement source crystals becomes especially important.

Lin Yi urgently needs this material now.

Mr. Gongsu has collected quite a lot of high-grade enhancement source crystals over the years in the Dark Rising.

However, continuously using without replenishing means they’ll eventually run out; Lin Yi must search for these materials.

Second, the extent of understanding the equipment also impacts enhancement greatly.

Fortunately, Lin Yi, with the Eye of All-Seeing and Eyes of Golden Flame, can observe the internal conditions of equipment most clearly, enabling him to seamlessly continue enhancement from other enhancement masters.

On the contrary, it becomes troublesome for other enhancement masters.

They need to spend considerable time identifying the location of each array on equipment to avoid conflicts and failures during enhancement.

Aside from these two points, the enhancer’s expertise, the methods of inscribing arrays, and even the intensity of flames all influence the enhancement success rate.

Getting the Divine River Song enhanced to +99 has exhausted Mr. Gongsu.

The difference in effect created by just one enhancement level difference is worlds apart; reaching +100 unlocks the special effect of the Divine River Song.

”Now, the surface of the Divine River Song is covered with countless golden lines, its attributes have greatly improved, but the divine artifact hasn’t undergone a qualitative change. You should know that no matter how high the values, if the Divine Power level doesn’t keep up, it makes it hard to be effective in attacks.”

As he said this, Lin Yi displayed his +99 Divine River Song to people.

The other three were unaffected, not being enhancers made them uninterested in the +99 enhanced equipment, whereas Sun Dachuan, being an enhancer, couldn’t help but shine when he saw such high-level equipment.

Even though the Divine River Song emitted chilling air, which would affect Sun Dachuan, he did not mind.

He held the Divine River Song carefully, observing it diligently.

”You did very well this time, preserving the valuable resources of Treasure Blue Star. Your cultivation was interrupted; consider whether to continue or follow me to the Upper Plane to seek those high-grade enhancement source crystals.”

”Staying isn’t bad either. I thought about it carefully, given the similarity between the two planets, the Descent Abyss dungeon on this planet should also yield good weapons and equipment. With your current abilities, acquiring mythical equipment should be possible.”

What Lin Yi said was quite reasonable.

If they could obtain a complete set of fitting mythical equipment, it would be an effective way to increase the strength of the four.

Getting external divine artifacts wasn’t something they dwelled on.

Lin Yi had the air of destiny; they lacked that confidence.

Wearing a full set of mythical equipment was already the best outcome for the four.

”I must go in person.”

The other three hadn’t responded yet when Sun Dachuan interjected.

As an enhancer, he naturally wanted to see what those high-grade enhancement source crystals looked like.

Enhancement expertise at +99 is intriguing enough for him; he absolutely wants to go and have a look.

Ao Shu wanted to adventure with Lin Yi, however, she knew well that the equipment could boost her strength significantly, staying on Treasure Blue Star to clear dungeons, record, and obtain a whole set of mythical equipment that suited herself could extensively elevate her strength in a short time.
