I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 1013: Chapter 1013: A Pure Person

”Mr. Lin Yi, luck is also part of strength. Drawing different parts might be considered an unfair advantage, but as you said, luck is indeed part of strength.”

Among the four Enhancement Grandmasters, Bed’s speed was the slowest. Yet, after half a day’s time had passed, his enhancement level had already surpassed Lin Yi.

Upon hearing Bed’s words, Lin Yi merely smiled faintly without reacting.

The object in his hand, indeed, posed maximum difficulty.

But he carried the title of the strongest Enhancer on Blue Star, the most powerful.

Losing on his own turf to strong individuals from other planets, even if the difficulty of the competition was somewhat unfair, would undoubtedly dishearten his supporters, wouldn’t it?

Thinking of this, Lin Yi tried to calm himself down and focused more on the matter of enhancement.

Another half day passed.

The enhancement competition finally reached its final stage.

Bed was the first to finish enhancing.

According to Treasure Blue Star’s enhancement methods, he was confident in enhancing his equipment to +65 and beyond.

However, using Blue Star’s lower-tier enhancement method, he could only achieve +45.

Though his engraving technique was more advanced than Sun Dachuan’s, due to his lack of proficiency, he was the first to complete the enhancement.

The second to finish enhancing was Sun Dachuan.

Achieving this was truly an arduous task for him.

Firstly, the bracelet he held was much more challenging to enhance than the upper and lower garments, weapons, or even the belt. Enhancing it to +46 was his limit.

Without the Eye of All-Seeing and Eyes of Golden Flame, he relied on his passion for enhancement, on his sweat falling drop by drop, accumulating experience.

Following Sun Dachuan were Luo Xian and then Kelly.

They enhanced their equipment to +48 and +49, respectively.

Their enhancement skills appeared to fundamentally lead when compared to Bed. If higher-tier enhancement methods from Treasure Blue Star were used, they would undoubtedly widen the gap with Bed even further.

Remaining persistent were Lin Yi and Zhao Dahai.

The three Enhancement Grandmasters clearly felt that Lin Yi’s control over the timing and opening phase was far superior to theirs. Unfortunately, Lin Yi drew the most challenging piece, a necklace.

Even though he used the flame engraving method, which had low demands on the opening phase, each step he took was much more cautious than Zhao Dahai, making his speed considerably slower than Zhao Dahai.

From initially leading Zhao Dahai by an enhancement level of 28, to being overtaken by one level now, no matter how good his mentality was, he would still feel substantial pressure, wouldn’t he?

Beads of sweat were densely packed on Lin Yi’s forehead, a clear testament to the immense pressure he was under.

In his hand was a dagger made from the Nether Lotus Demon Flame, as he held his breath and engraved the array.

In contrast, engraving was no difficulty for Zhao Dahai; instead, the opening of the equipment made him quite anxious.

Unfortunately, not everyone possessed the meticulous Eye of All-Seeing like Lin Yi.

Apart from observation, Zhao Dahai relied heavily on his years of reinforcement experience.

”Mr. Lin Yi, you seem quite exhausted. No need to continue pushing yourself. The equipment I’m enhancing has a much simpler opening and engraving task than yours. Look, your necklace is already somewhat deformed. If you continue enhancing, the array you’ve engraved prior might crack.”

”Regarding the enhancement competition, you might lose to me, but in my heart, you’ve already won.”

Regarding enhancement skills, Zhao Dahai was quite an obsessive person. Throughout his life, he had never submitted to anyone, not even the other three Enhancement Grandmasters were threats in his eyes.

Yet, his admiration for Lin Yi was genuinely sincere.

Initially, when the draw was just over, Zhao Dahai didn’t realize that Lin Yi drew the necklace intentionally; he merely thought Lin Yi was just unlucky.

However, upon seeing Lin Yi skillfully master the gravity and use it to manipulate the object, he faintly guessed that Lin Yi was applying the greatest pressure on himself in his own field.

If the two of them had swapped their equipment for enhancement, Zhao Dahai was certain that Lin Yi would definitely have reached +52 and beyond by now.

”Master Zhao, thank you for your kindness. However, I, Lin Yi, have never been one to give up. Aren’t we still not at the final juncture? Come on, let’s continue!”

With that, Lin Yi completed the engraving of the last stroke, successfully raising the enhancement level of the necklace in his hand to +50.

The Immortal Law can provide infinite stamina.

But the consumption of spirit must be replenished through rest.

At this moment, Lin Yi’s spiritual power was excessively drained.

Those observing from the Divine Refining Bureau were deeply worried.

The duel between the two continued.

When Zhao Dahai attempted to enhance the equipment to +52, a failure occurred in opening.

Both men’s final results stopped at +52.

On Lin Yi’s side, the opening posed no issues.

Regrettably, the equipment he held was simply too small in size, and while the array he engraved wasn’t as concise as Zhao Dahai’s, the necklace was so stuffed it became overly deformed.

Even though Lin Yi used the Eternal Law to cool the equipment at a suitable time, there was no longer any space to squeeze anything more inside.

”Mr. Lin Yi, I concede to you!”

When Zhao Dahai ceased his actions, he disregarded the precious mythical equipment before him and quickly approached Lin Yi, bowing to him.

Every planet has individuals who are particularly obsessive when it comes to certain matters.

Blue Star has the enhancement fanatic, Sun Dachuan, and Treasure Blue Star has Zhao Dahai.

To gain absolute recognition from Sun Dachuan and Zhao Dahai, the only solution is to surpass them in the area they are passionate about.

Take Zhao Dahai, for instance. The original intention of guiding Lin Yi’s enhancement skill on Blue Star was not due to fear of Lin Yi’s martial prowess, but out of concern for his family on Treasure Blue Star.

But now, things are different.

His admiration for Lin Yi was truly heartfelt.

It doesn’t matter that both final scores are +52.

He clearly understood that to be on par with Lin Yi, he relied on higher-tier array engravings and the advantage of larger equipment volume.

Having these two advantages and ending up with the same score as Lin Yi suggested that his enhancement skill was inferior to Lin Yi’s.

Martial prowess couldn’t make Zhao Dahai submit, but enhancement skills could.

”I wonder if you would allow me to stay on Blue Star, Mr. Lin Yi? You possess many things worth learning from, and naturally, I’ll share all I know with you.”

Looking at the uncle in front of him with a personality very similar to Sun Dachuan’s, Lin Yi immediately smiled and nodded.

How could Lin Yi not like such a pure person?

He smiled and extended his hand.

”Master Zhao, it is an honor to compete alongside you. Shall we continue our match another time?”

Lin Yi clearly sensed the arrival of his little brother and knew that his little brother was waiting for him.
