I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 1010: Chapter 1010: Lin Yi’s Unparalleled Generosity

The ability of equipment enhancement on Blue Star, described in terms of discontinuity, is not an exaggeration.

As the director of the Divine Refining Bureau, Sun Dachuan, besides his training, has devoted all his life to the improvement of enhancement skills.

Whenever he has time, he enhances equipment.

Sun Dachuan does not consider himself a genius in the skills of enhancement.

But he believes that with enough effort, energy, and experience, once his skills accumulate to a certain level, his enhancement techniques will surely advance.

Yet both Sun Dachuan and Lin Yi have gone far down this path.

”Actually, the means of equipment enhancement are not only about the most exquisite control of heat and strength.”

”For any equipment meant for regular professionals, its size would not be overly exaggerated. Opening enough slots of adequate size in a piece of equipment and inscribing exclusive enhancement arrays within is not an easy task.”

That’s right, even for the enhancement masters on Treasure Blue Star, opening over forty slots on already small equipment and engraving arrays while maintaining the equipment’s integrity is extremely difficult.

Even they would not daringly claim to enhance equipment stably beyond +40 with Blue Star’s enhancement methods.

Listening to the endless metal clashing sounds around him, Luo Xian felt somewhat eager.

He knew well that seeing is believing.

Talking on paper cannot manifest true skills; only by doing it yourself can you understand the challenges.

Review what you have learned and gain new insights; yet this ”review” is not thorough.

”Mr. Lin Yi, our Treasure Blue Star abandoned this enhancement method of Blue Star thousands of years ago. According to our records, equipment enhanced using this old method only reached a highest level of lv40. I wonder if Mr. Lin Yi is interested, and we can compete today using Blue Star’s enhancement materials and method.”

Luo Xian’s words immediately piqued the interest of the other three enhancement masters.

In conversation with Lin Yi, they learned that the highest level equipment Lin Yi has enhanced so far was only +40.

Despite this, the four enhancement masters did not dare to underestimate Lin Yi.

They had produced many high-level enhanced works, far surpassing Lin Yi’s, yet they did not dare say they could surpass Lin Yi under the same conditions and method.

If it were before, these four enhancement masters would surely feel some pressure.

They would think losing to a junior, especially one from a lower dimension, would be embarrassing.

But after witnessing Blue Star and seeing Lin Yi’s true strength, these thoughts vanished.

After all, their planet’s fate was in this person’s hands; losing to him isn’t shameful.

This rare opportunity to compete with an Enhancement Grandmaster is precious.

As Lin Yi’s friend and the director of the Divine Refining Bureau, Sun Dachuan certainly needed a spot arranged for him.

Regarding Lin Yi and Sun Dachuan’s matters, there’s no minor event on Blue Star; however, Lin Yi does not wish to draw too much attention.

Moreover, the on-site qualification for enhancement competitions doesn’t hold much significance for outsiders.

Soon, under Sun Dachuan’s arrangements, an enhancement competition was held within the Divine Refining Bureau.

The professionals mastering enhancement skills on Blue Star are not all centralized in the Divine Refining Bureau.

Entering the Divine Refining Bureau, without exaggeration, are those who are passionate about enhancement.

In their eyes, the strength or weakness of power isn’t so important; the only way to gain support from this group of almost obsessive enthusiasts is to master more advanced enhancement methods.

To this group in the Divine Refining Bureau, aspects such as race or nationality do not exist.

Acquiring stronger combat abilities is not the key; the key is the advancement of enhancement skills.

Observing the last enhancement competition between Lin Yi and Sun Dachuan significantly improved their comprehension about equipment enhancement, if not enlightening.

What they learned and saw in the competition would take years to digest.

Now, the chance to learn skills from enhancement masters at high dimensions not possessed by Blue Star was irresistible.

”Four masters, this is my good friend Sun Dachuan, also an enhancement master. Today, we six will compete together.”

”The enhancement materials are provided by the Divine Refining Bureau, with no shortage in quantity. For equipment, we’ll use the Divine Artifact for enhancement. What do you think?”

The equipment with the highest strength must still be Divine Artifacts.

The issue is, Lin Yi cannot produce so many Divine Artifacts at once.

Previously, to enhance his strength, any Divine Artifact he found unusable, Lin Yi disassembled without hesitation.

Enhancing tangible Divine Artifacts like the Soul-Breaking Skill is more manageable, but how to enhance Wo Zhiqi’s Divine River Song, Lin Yi can’t conceive.

Mythical Equipment is second only to Divine Artifacts as top-tier equipment.

Ordinary experts, without external Divine Artifacts, possess at most one Divine Artifact, with the rest being Mythical.

Enhancing Mythical Equipment tests the enhancer’s skills the most.

Mythical Equipment not only tests the enhancer’s skills but is rare in existence.

Even on a dimension much higher than Blue Star, like Treasure Blue Star, possessing six pieces of Mythical-level Equipment isn’t easily seen.

So upon hearing Lin Yi’s suggestion, the only female enhancer among the four masters, Kelly, couldn’t help but raise a question.

”Mr. Lin Yi, using Mythical Equipment for competition might be too extravagant. Any piece of Mythical Equipment is quite rare; it’s not that we find enhancing this type challenging, but it seems a bit too luxurious.”

Regarding this view, even the enhancers on Blue Star cannot deny.

Mythical Equipment, even those top-ranking War Gods on Blue Star, can only sporadically produce a few, and most do not match personal attributes.

At least before Lin Yi presented the equipment, that’s what the four enhancement masters believed.

Until Lin Yi revealed the equipment, the four enhancement masters were stunned, not to mention the members of the Divine Refining Bureau present.

Each of them rubbed their eyes, occasionally giving themselves a few slaps, just to ensure they weren’t hallucinating.

But the brightly glowing equipment, emitting the unique light of Mythical Equipment, certainly mesmerized them.

”Mr. Lin Yi, is this a complete set?”

Whether it was a complete set of Mythical Equipment, its design was identifiable.

The four enhancement masters didn’t ask knowingly, but didn’t quite believe it.
