I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 697: First-Time Enhancement Straight to +5—You Say That’s Not Impressive?!

When Wanchong Mountain was shocked, Lin Yi had already swung his hammer dozens of times, and the not-so-good equipment had been successfully enhanced to a +4 level by him.

This enhancement level is very common throughout Blue Star, and there are plenty of people on Blue Star who possess this ability.

However, it seems that currently, only Lin Yi, a person in the Mage profession, can achieve this.

The hammer in Lin Yi’s hand continued to strike incessantly, but compared to the initial enhancement from level 1 to 4, Lin Yi’s hammering speed had slowed significantly this time, and the relaxed expression on his face gradually faded, replaced by a solemn look.

With each hammer strike, Lin Yi became more serious than before, and as a result, the enhancement from level 4 to 5 took Lin Yi nine full minutes to complete the final strike.

Whether due to overexertion or the high temperature in the Divine Refining Bureau, Lin Yi’s forehead was unusually covered with fine sweat beads.

Could it be that this is the end?

Lin Yi gritted his teeth, his heart filled with unwillingness.

Even when knowing that trying to enhance from level 5 to 6 would likely fail, he was not weighed down by his idol’s burden. He swung the big hammer in his hand and began further forging.

As expected, the outcome was no different from what Lin Yi imagined.

The insights on the Enhancement Skill had long been written down by Sun Dachuan. Previously, Lin Yi couldn’t learn skills from other professions, even with these insights, but after acquiring the Inner Court, he was no longer bound by profession restrictions.

Only after running through it a few times did he grasp the basic Enhancement Skill.

Only then did he start the equipment enhancement under the shocked gaze of Wanchong Mountain.

Ding~

A crisp metal collision sound rang out, and Lin Yi was stunned on the spot.

Looking at the equipment in his hand with cracks appearing, Lin Yi finally stopped.

”So, this is my limit? Compared to Dachuan, I’m still far behind.”

At first glance, Lin Yi’s words seemed fine, but upon careful thought, this is just a humblebrag!

It’s true that Sun Dachuan could enhance equipment up to a +30 level, but how long had Sun Dachuan been researching equipment enhancement? How many pieces of equipment did he break under his hands to master such a technique?

As for others, it goes without saying, just getting started with enhancement took them quite some time.

Lin Yi started using the skill book right after receiving it and enhanced the equipment straight to +5. With such extraordinary talent and still claiming to be far behind Sun Dachuan, isn’t this just humblebragging?

It’s known that even Sun Dachuan, a genius in enhancement, took over a month to grow from 0 to being able to enhance equipment to a +5 level.

Sun Dachuan heard these words and had an awkward expression on his face.

”Dean Lin Yi, please don’t mock me, you’re a Mage. Looking across the whole Blue Star, who else but you, a Mage, can do this? Besides, with your talent, you only need to spend some time, surpassing my Enhancement Skill is not a problem at all.”

”How can we compare?”

Sun Dachuan picked up the equipment that Lin Yi mistakenly enhanced to the point of breaking, carefully examined it, and quickly found the reason for Lin Yi’s failure and informed Lin Yi.

With Lin Yi’s talent, once the problem is figured out, the next enhancement will surely succeed.

The plans for the Divine Refining Bureau have been finalized, and Lin Yi’s trip had completed everything necessary.

Next, he had to consider his own matters—comprehending the [Dubhe Strange Scripture]

which is the unbreakable part of the Eight-Nine Mystical Skill.

The Eight-Nine Mystical Skill, none of its volumes are useless or redundant.

Mastering this cultivation technique is of immense importance in the journey ahead.

Having the Divine Refining Bureau incorporated into the Xia official department provided many materials necessary for equipment enhancement and brought a certain amount of Spirit Awakening Stones to Shenxiao, Lin Yi has done enough.

Taking advantage of this return, Lin Yi planned to thoroughly delve into the cultivation technique he received from Zhang Yun.

Ever since the Spirit Awakening Stones were brought back, and after War Gods from various countries obtained Inner Court abilities, the Antarctic ice cave became the most bustling training ground.

An environment where one day is equivalent to a hundred days of training was hardly favored by War Gods before.

Since the Antarctic ice cave counts as an independent space, one couldn’t farm materials or complete tasks there. The greatest advantage of this training condition was the comprehension of the Power of Law.

To Lin Yi, it wasn’t a big deal, but for ordinary War Gods, enhancing their understanding of the Power of Law couldn’t be resolved in a hundred days. Wasn’t it all about seeking breakthroughs in life-and-death battles?

So, even with an effect equivalent to a hundred days in one, it remained quite deserted.

”Greetings, Dragon God War God!”

With Lingyue as a mode of transport, Lin Yi took only a dozen minutes to soar from Shenxiao to Antarctica, and smoothly landed at the location of the Antarctic ice cave.

Being a place requiring military merits to exchange for entry time, it is a major site for Blue Star, hence it is never short of powerful guards.

Seeing the Lingyue’s hatch open and Lin Yi stepping out, several guards, all at War God Level, respectfully approached and saluted Lin Yi.

”Are they all well?”

Lin Yi smiled slightly and lightly used Gravity Manipulation to gently raise their bodies.

Before returning to Blue Star, Lin Yi took the Spirit Awakening Stones into the Undead Space, helping Xiyue and Ao Shu successfully open up Inner Courts.

After receiving several skill books from Lin Yi, the two women entered the Antarctic ice cave to commence training.

Their talents weren’t low to begin with.

With sufficient training time, their power increased rapidly.

Especially for Ao Shu, this lass from the Dragon Race, practicing a skill before acquiring the Inner Court was extremely difficult.

But after acquiring the continual simulation ability of the Inner Court, in just two days in the outside world, she had already trained the Ice Element skills Lin Yi gave her to the eighth tier.

Xiyue was even more impressive.

She had always found Lin Yi’s Gravity and Thunder Skills particularly useful. With the Inner Court and the Antarctic ice cave offering a hundredfold training time, in just two days, she raised her Gravity and Thunder Skills to the Forbidden Curse Layer.

Indeed, reaching the Forbidden Curse Layer isn’t the highlight.

The highlight is that even Xiyue acquired a Non-Mechanical Skill Tree ability.

This, is the power of the Inner Court!

According to the rules on Blue Star, professionals couldn’t cross skill tree training, but now, the existence of the Spirit Awakening Stones and the Inner Court thoroughly break this iron law.

”Honored Dragon God War God, we naturally will protect your people well. Even in these recent days, with the Antarctic ice cave becoming extremely popular, we won’t let anyone affect those you brought. Rest assured, they’re training well inside without any disturbances.”

Listening to the guards’ report, Lin Yi nodded in satisfaction.

Just as he planned to inspect the two women’s training status, space fluctuations suddenly appeared behind him.
