Supreme Sword God

Chapter 35: Chapter 35: Knocking Out a Beautiful Girl—Beastly Behavior!

The environment was chaotic and noisy.

A man in black clothes was running around like a headless fly.

”Damn it, where is that damn Fatty hiding!”

”Grandpa was right, everyone with the surname Yu is a fox!”

”Yu Hui, I don’t believe I can’t find you. You bullied me back then, and I must return the favor!”

”Not outside, could it be that he’s hiding inside the house?”

”Hmph, even if I have to dig three feet deep, I’ll find you!”

......

At this time.

In the room where Yu Heng stayed, five men in black were already lying down.

Ye Chen and Yu Hui had snagged quite a few good items.

The commotion outside was getting quieter.

Yu Hui squinted his eyes with a smile and said, ”Brother Ye, it’s about time for us to retreat. Once we enter the Cangxing Martial Arts Academy, let’s team up and score big!”

Ye Chen nodded; it seemed like this impromptu test was about to conclude.

The two left through the window, going their separate ways.

Suddenly, an angry shout rang out.

”Fatty, I’ve finally found you!”

Ye Chen immediately looked towards Fatty, only to see a man in black thrusting a sword towards Yu Hui!

In a panic, Yu Hui’s forehead released two spirit seals flying out, emitting a silvery glow.

”Earth Seal Spirit Master!”

The silver spirit seals indicated an Earth Seal Spirit Master, as Yu Hui had just admitted himself.

So this guy had been hiding his abilities, and now in trouble, he finally showed his true strength.

Ye Chen had suspected something was off with Fatty from the start, and it turned out he was right!

The two silver spirit seals easily blocked the sword thrust from the man in black.

Yu Hui’s hands rapidly formed seals.

His chubby fingers were astonishingly deft.

As each hand seal was completed, radiant beams shot forth from the silver spirit seals, instantly subduing the man in black.

The aura around the man in black surged violently, clearly trying to break a seal on his power.

At this time.

Ye Chen quickly flashed behind the man in black, just as before, delivering a heavy blow with the sword hilt.

”Bang!”

The man in black collapsed to the ground.

Yu Hui quickly retracted his spirit seals, shouting, ”Brother Ye, thank you, let’s go to Yu Heng’s place.”

The two returned to Yu Heng’s room.

Yu Hui tore off the man in black’s face mask and gritted his teeth, ”I knew it was you. I guessed you’d make a move!”

Ye Chen also glanced over; the man in black’s face was excessively beautiful.

It could even compare to Hua Qianxue!

”Fatty, she knows you and came specifically for you!” Ye Chen said confidently.

Yu Hui looked at Ye Chen and said, ”Well...”

Before Fatty could finish, Ye Chen cut him off, ”So, you teamed up with me to prevent her from causing trouble for you, right?”

As for the Earth Seal Spirit Master business, Ye Chen said nothing; everyone likes to hide a trump card or two. It’s normal.

Yu Hui awkwardly said, ”Brother Ye, that’s not important. What’s important is that we successfully passed the test today and got quite a few benefits. Wouldn’t you agree?

This girl... well, we had some history, but I didn’t expect her to hold such a grudge. It was all childhood stuff, but it seems she’s held onto it all these years.”

As he spoke, Yu Hui pulled out a talisman pen and, dipping it in a special liquid for writing talismans, drew a turtle on the girl’s face!

Even Ye Chen couldn’t bear to watch.

This guy, doesn’t he fear consequences?

The girl recognized Fatty earlier; she must know he’s the culprit!

Also, the girl wore a Storage Ring on her finger, indicating a high status in the Cangxing Martial Arts Academy!

After drawing the turtle, Yu Hui looked pleased with his work and approached Ye Chen, saying, ”Brother Ye, thank you for your help today. I won’t forget this favor. If you ever need anything, come to me. I guarantee I won’t even frown!”

Actually.

The reason Ye Chen helped earlier was mainly to snatch items.

Now it seemed there was no chance; the girl’s items were all in the Storage Ring and couldn’t be taken.

If they tried to forcibly break the imprint on the Storage Ring, it would spell trouble.

......

The dawn was breaking.

The chaos had completely subsided.

Outer Courtyard Instructor Lin Ying gathered all those who participated in the test.

Everyone looked exhausted and bedraggled.

Ye Chen and Yu Hui were no exception, though their marks were self-made.

Lin Ying looked at the group, his expression indifferent, and loudly declared, ”As warriors, you must never let down your guard, no matter the situation. This is the first lesson from Cangxing Martial Arts Academy, and I hope you all remember this lesson.

This was also the first round of the recruitment test for Cangxing Martial Arts Academy this year. Among the participants, 316 in total, 191 lost their tokens; only 125 managed to keep theirs. Congratulations to the 125; you’ll proceed to the second round tomorrow!”

Hearing this.

More than half the crowd was dumbstruck!

Are they out just like that?

Some were dissatisfied, loudly protesting, ”Instructor Lin, we weren’t notified about this test in advance, we were completely unprepared. This doesn’t reflect our true abilities; we demand a retest!”

”That’s right, this test was unfair!”

”We can accept failure, but not an inexplicable one like this!”

Lin Ying coldly snorted and harshly retorted, ”Does Cangxing Martial Arts Academy need your approval for how we arrange the test?

Not satisfied? What right do you have to be dissatisfied?

If this were a battlefield, and those attacking you were enemies, demons, or the Demon Race, you’d lose more than a token but your life!

Those who lost their tokens, leave this place within fifteen minutes, or I’ll show no mercy!”

Under Lin Ying’s powerful pressure, the crowd was silent, no one dared to speak.

Lin Ying’s gaze swept over the crowd, lingering momentarily on Fatty Yu Hui.

Wasn’t it instructed to look after this guy?

What happened?

This little Fatty, despite being dirty, didn’t have a single injury!

At this point.

An Outer Disciple of Cangxing Martial Arts Academy approached Lin Ying and whispered something.

Lin Ying’s face suddenly turned pale.

The dean’s granddaughter was missing!

And five other Outer Disciples were also missing.

Cold sweat broke out on Lin Ying’s forehead as he immediately shouted, ”Everyone is to remain here and not move an inch!”

After saying this, Lin Ying hurried off to find them.

Yu Hui secretly glanced at where Ye Chen stood.

Ye Chen noticed Yu Hui looking his way but paid him no mind.

After all, the blame would fall on Yu Heng, and as for the girl who recognized Fatty, she hadn’t seen him.

Everything was unrelated to him.

Yu Heng awoke.

His head was fuzzy.

He moved slightly, hearing a clattering sound, and sat up, bewildered.

Why were there several high-quality weapons on the bed?

And why were there five men in black lying on the floor?

One of them didn’t wear a black face mask, but had a turtle drawn on their face!

Why did he have a talisman pen in his hand?!
