Supreme Sword God

Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Crossing Borders in Battle, the Resolute Sword!

Ye Chen stared at the Huang Family guards surrounding him, his face showed not a trace of fear.

”Get out of my way!”

The leader of the guards holding the knife, with a fierce glare in his eyes, shouted, ”Ye Chen, don’t be foolish, if you don’t release him, you can’t bear the consequences!”

”I can’t bear it?” Ye Chen’s eyes slightly squinted, cold light bursting forth, his voice was chilling to the extreme, ”The Ye Family is gone, now I am alone, what is there I cannot bear?”

As his words fell, the sword in his hand suddenly slashed out, striking Huang Hu’s leg!

With a swoosh, blood splattered, and Huang Hu’s leg was severed!

”Aah!”

A piercing, pig-like scream resonated, and Huang Hu’s body twisted frantically on the ground.

Ye Chen raised his sword once again and struck!

With a pffft sound, the iron sword pierced into Huang Hu’s abdomen!

Huang Hu screamed again in agony and fell unconscious.

The Huang Family guards were terrified, their faces pale—none had expected Ye Chen to be so ruthless!

With Huang Hu in Ye Chen’s hands, they hesitated to act!

”Get out of my way, or I’ll make Huang Hu die right in front of you!” Ye Chen shouted angrily.

Saying this, he dragged the iron chain and walked forward.

The Huang Family guards could only grit their teeth and make way... none dared to act!

Moments later, Ye Chen successfully left the Huang Family, walking on the streets of Qingyun City.

Wherever he went, Huang Hu, whose neck was chained, left behind a long trail of blood.

This scene aroused an uproar!

”Ye Chen, return within a month and kill again.” The woman in the Sword Tomb transmitted voice, her tone grave.

”I can’t leave. It’s not just the Huang Family that wants to curry favor with the Celestial Sword Sect by killing me; they just haven’t reacted yet. If I flee, countless more will come to kill me!”

”It’s better to live poorly than die proudly; leaving offers a slim chance, not leaving is a dead end.

Have you thought about the Sword Tomb, thought about all beings in the world? You are the Master of the Sword Tomb, you must bear this responsibility!”

”Indeed, because of responsibility, my duty is to avenge my Ye Clan members!”

Ye Chen took a deep breath, his expression firmer, responding, ”I acquired the Sword Tomb’s legacy, thus binding this karma; I’ll keep the world’s beings in mind.

But before avenging my deep hatred, as for the so-called world, I couldn’t care less!”

......

Ye Family’s main courtyard.

The original buildings had turned into ruins, among them, wooden stakes stood tall.

On the stakes, with long iron nails, multiple corpses were nailed!

A middle-aged man with a beard and red face appeared extremely restless, roaring in anger, ”A bunch of trash, searched for so long, yet can’t find a single clue about the treasure vault.”

This man was Huang Family’s second master, Huang Tianba.

In front of him, a Huang Family servant lowered his head, saying, ”Second Master, it seems the Ye Family’s treasure vault isn’t within their clan, we can only hope the young master manages to pry open Ye Chen’s lips.”

Huang Tianba grunted, just then noise arose from afar, he looked in the direction of the commotion.

Behold, Ye Chen, who should have been locked up in the Huang Family dungeon, was approaching with one hand holding a sword and the other dragging an iron chain, the chain coiled around the neck of a person with severed limbs.

Upon closer inspection.

Huang Tianba’s body suddenly erupted with intense murderous intent, his fists clenched, knuckles cracking, his face showing extreme ferocity!

Being dragged by Ye Chen was his beloved son, Huang Hu!

”Ye Chen, release my son, or I shall skin you alive, pull out your tendons, and dismember your body!” Huang Tianba’s voice emerged from between his teeth, laced with icy coldness.

Looking at Huang Tianba, Ye Chen was equally suffused with murderous intent!

If not for Huang Tianba’s attack yesterday, how could his father have died?

Of the Ye Family’s over a hundred lives, nearly half were killed by Huang Tianba.

Now... Ye Chen looked at the hanging corpses of Ye Clan members, his heart felt like being cut with a knife, this pain far exceeded the torture in the dungeon, far eclipsing the agony of Sword Qi Body Tempering, by countless degrees!

”If you don’t release my son, I’ll immediately order to chop up your Ye Clan’s bodies and feed them to dogs!” Huang Tianba roared.

”Release?” Ye Chen sneered, with a sudden flick of his wrist, the sword edge skimming past Huang Hu’s neck.

”Swish!”

Huang Hu, decapitated!

He dragged Huang Hu along.

Firstly, to safely leave the dungeon.

Secondly, to use Huang Hu’s head to honor the Ye Clan members.

Thirdly, to let Huang Tianba feel deeply the torment of losing a dear one before dying!

”Ah!”

Huang Tianba bellowed in grief, his hair and beard stood on end, eyes on the verge of bursting, powerful gusts erupted from his body, dread-inducing momentum crushing towards Ye Chen.

Within this terrifying pressure, Ye Chen’s expression was firm, his face devoid of regret and vacillation, declared, ”Huang Tianba, today, besides your son Huang Hu, I will take your head to honor my Ye Clan members’ spirits in heaven!”

”You think you can avenge with just yourself? Overestimating your abilities!” Huang Tianba roared, ”You killed my son, I will make you die amidst boundless pain!”

As he finished.

Huang Tianba ferociously struck a palm towards Ye Chen.

The True Essence Realm First Layer’s cultivation fully unleashed.

The air of this heaven and earth stagnated.

Sounds of raging waves emanated from Huang Tianba’s palm.

It was the Huang Family’s peak Huang-class martial arts, Thunderous Wave Palm!

Facing Huang Tianba’s furious strike, Ye Chen’s Dantian and his Qi Blood seemed to ignite.

Burning Sword Technique!

His power exploded mightily.

Like erupting volcanic magma, formidable and unstoppable.

”Swish!”

Ye Chen thrust a sword.

This sword represented all his strength now.

The sword light transformed instantly into a beam, piercing straight towards Huang Tianba’s palm.

Regarding Ye Chen’s sword, Huang Tianba felt no threat, being in the True Essence Realm First Layer, how could he dread a mere Element Gathering Realm Fifth Layer kid’s sword thrust?

All spectators seemingly imagined the scene to follow.

Ye Chen’s sword would be shattered by Huang Tianba’s palm.

Besides leaving a head for the Huang Family to take to Celestial Sword Sect, his body would be fragmented to feed dogs.

Yet at the instant when sword met palm.

An astonishing scene unfolded.

Ye Chen’s iron sword’s tip forcibly tore through Huang Tianba’s palm force, with a distinct pffft, piercing through Huang Tianba’s palm, the sword’s might continued unabated, the iron sword penetrated through Huang Tianba’s palm and again made a pffft sound as the sword edge sunk into Huang Tianba’s throat!

The entire audience fell into dead silence!

Who could have thought... Ye Chen’s sword thrust, with Element Gathering Realm Fifth Layer cultivation, would be so formidable?!

Everyone widened their eyes, Adam’s apple bobbing, desperately recalling that moment, immersed in profound shock.

Huang Tianba’s body plummeted to the ground.

Ye Chen gasped for breath, his skin webbed with spider-like cracks.

Blood poured profusely from him, overwhelming weakness gnawed at his sanity.

Ye Chen bit the tip of his tongue hard, using pain to stay awake, then raised his hand, swung a sword, and cut off Huang Tianba’s head!

Exhilaration, unparalleled exhilaration!

”Father, clan members, did you see? I killed Huang Hu, killed Huang Tianba, next is the entire Huang Family, including Celestial Sword Sect’s Gu Yue.

I will use their lives to honor yours.

You must watch, I will definitely succeed!”

Then, Ye Chen already dashed forward, taking his father’s corpse off the stake.

Hot, scalding tears slipped down his cheeks, blood-infused, chilling to behold!

Bloody tears stained his entire face, his body constantly trembling, pain from executing the Burning Sword Technique was nothing compared to the heartache a millionfold!

Just then.

A roar erupted suddenly, exploding like thunder!

”Second brother!”

A middle-aged man bearing a resemblance of seven parts to Huang Tianba, surged forth brimming with killing intent.

This man was Huang Family’s master, Huang Tianxiong, the strongest in Huang Family, True Essence Realm Third Layer cultivation!
