Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

”By the way, brother, there’s a very ancient clock in the villa. You mustn’t touch it. Be careful not to break it; it’s a sacred object of our auxiliary system.”

Ma Xiaoyu explained again.

”Okay, I understand!”

Su Yue nodded.

It seems that the You’an Mansion is indeed to be demolished, even the Dusk Clock has been moved here.

Entering the villa.

Su Yue felt a bit uneasy, and he would have to explain to Sima Lingling for a while, what a headache.

”Back?”

Sima Lingling sat on the sofa, munching on sunflower seeds, while the TV played a centuries-old drama: My Date with a Vampire.

Why is it vampires again?

However, this TV show wasn’t scary; it was a romantic movie.

”Yep!”

Su Yue snapped out of his thoughts, quickly nodded, and sat on the sofa.

He looked around.

Couldn’t see the Dusk Clock, and his master ancestor Lu Jianghao wasn’t there either.

”Although I’m very touched you helped me defeat Li Duozhi, don’t think I’ll forgive you for taking risks.

”Su Yue, you’re just a freshman; what’s the rush?

”There are rumors outside that you’ve become the Underground Emperor of West Martial, planning to overthrow the principal, and even usurp West Martial.”

Sima Lingling sighed and said.

”I don’t have that capability. I can’t even get a little position in the student council. I have no desire for power.”

Su Yue scratched his head.

”I know you’re not interested in power, but are you interested in your life?

”I watched a video from the Eastern Combat Zone. You snatched a corpse from under the hand of a preparatory supreme, you really don’t care about your life.

”In future battles of the Grandmaster level and above, you’d better stay far away.”

Sima Lingling earnestly advised.

”Yeah, I understand!”

Su Yue also picked up sunflower seeds and started munching; it seemed contagious.

”Master, where is my uncle master Lu Xiliang?”

Su Yue asked casually.

”He went back to Xiangxi for ancestral rituals, seems to be sweeping graves.”

Sima Lingling said.

Hiss.

Su Yue drew a cold breath.

What ancestral rituals, it’s just a pretense, clearly it’s corpse driving.

At this moment, in Su Yue’s mind, Lu Xiliang was already wearing a Taoist robe, a bagua hat, with a cold expression, looking very righteous.

”And Master Lu Jianghao, he’s not here either?”

Su Yue asked again.

After thinking, calling him grandmaster wasn’t appropriate, so he could only call him master.

Lu Jianghao, being the oldest martial artist in the auxiliary system, was rightfully a master.

”Went to play chess.”

Sima Lingling said.

Since the Dusk Clock renewed his life, Lu Jianghao’s back pain was gone, his legs didn’t hurt, and he could climb five floors in one go. Sometimes, he even drank a couple of glasses of burnished alcohol, humming little tunes; it went down smooth, a straight line to the throat.

The master was quite carefree.

Speaking of which, she really should thank Su Yue on behalf of the auxiliary system.

Because of the life renewal from the Dusk Clock, it was considered a turning point that gathered many of the retired old auxiliary members at West Martial.

This way, Lu Jianghao wasn’t so lonely anymore.

”When do you plan to run away this time?”

Sima Lingling asked again.

”Master, hearing you say that, I’m not a criminal. Where can I run?

”However, come to think of it, I should be going to Shenchu City for a while. The principal might already have received the notice!”

Su Yue said.

”Yes, both the principal and I received a notification from the Military Department.

”I heard your father is also in Shenchu City, the two of you can have a reunion!”

Sima Lingling nodded.

”Maybe in a day or two, people from the Shenchu Corps will come over, I’ll pack up these days.”

Su Yue was particularly excited about the upcoming training.

”I know you’re going to Shenchu City to train, so I asked my master for an old item.

”This is the Vermilion Extreme Cloud Platform from the Daoist sect, although a bit worn, it can still last for a while in the damp realm.

”Sitting on the Vermilion Extreme Cloud Platform for training, you can calm your mind, always stay in the best state of meditation, making your practice more effective.

”This was a treasure from the early years given to the auxiliary system by the Daoist sect. If you are on Earth, it can last a bit longer, but if you go to the damp realm, it will quickly crumble. But there’s no use keeping it, you take it for practice!”

Rush rustle.

Sima Ling picked up the large dried fruit box on the coffee table as she spoke.

The sunflower seeds were poured out, and Sima Lingling thoughtfully tapped them, clearing out the residue, then she covered the dried fruit box and turned it over.

Exactly!

The octagonal-shaped dried fruit box, resembling a bagua shape, is what Sima Lingling referred to as the Vermilion Extreme Cloud Platform.

”This... this...”

Su Yue looked at the dried fruit box.

Indeed, this dried fruit box was a bit too large for the coffee table, but Su Yue hadn’t thought about it as a cushion.

Now it seemed, it was really suitable to sit on.

But for placing sunflower seeds, Su Yue found it a bit hard to understand Sima Lingling’s thinking process.

”Don’t underestimate the Vermilion Extreme Cloud Platform, it’s a multi-functional treasure.

”Firstly, its sealing is very good; the box can maintain a vacuum status, keeping freshly roasted sunflower seeds from getting damp. You can even carry some spicy duck necks or other marinated snacks from Earth to the damp realm, never going bad.

”Secondly, you can sit on it for training, calming your mind; you should know this.

”Thirdly, in crucial moments, you can use it as a shield.”

Sima Lingling explained the wonders of the Vermilion Extreme Cloud Platform.

”As a shield? Indestructible?”

Su Yue picked up the dried fruit box, then imagined himself in a scene where he held a shield with his left hand and an axe with his right.

Like a Celestial God, very majestic.

Su Yue thought he should prepare a leather cloak, so he would look even more imposing.

In fact, the back of the dried fruit box wasn’t unattractive, and even had a beautifully carved bagua pattern in the center, which looked quite mysterious.
