Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 437: A drunken Kiss in the Moonlight!

The moment the door opened with a click, her heat and strange scent filled the room like a sweet mist. She carried the citrus scent of a red spider lily, deadly yet alluring. At least to Ryan, but Nikolai just looked at her like a rival.

Good, I don’t find her attractive.

Though her strength is quite impressive… I want to fight her!

Nikolai’s ability, the Obsidian Eye, allowed him to sense mana and the amount a person hid or used. This beautiful Lamia, her eyes golden with triangular pupils, flicked between the four people in the room.

But the Lamia focused on Nikolai with a sceptical eye filled with hunger.

“To think the male who called me would be the infamous Nikolai Volkov.”

Her voice was like a melody that slithered through the air as if to match her forked tongue flickering between her plump, red lips. He understood… after fighting a heat burned in his abdomen, but she wasn’t his type.

“It’s not me, but him.”

An instant atmosphere of disappointment spread; her tail fluttered with a light rattle. Her long, inhuman body stretched from her belly button to form at least nine yards of scaled, serpentine tail.

“Really, a human. How intersting. Hmmmm~ let’s see.”

Though her excitement crashed, she didn’t seem to mind slithering closer to Ryan, her eyes narrowed as she leaned close, her tongue flicking his cheek slightly. Ryan looked shocked, his body turned to stone while Nikolai watched.

“Ah… Miss?”

“Shhh~ human, your scent isn’t so bad.” The two sat in silence. Ryan remained frozen in place and his eyes focused on her body and face with a mix of emotions.

She slithered around him, her movements bizarre even for Nikolai, who wondered how she moved so smoothly across the carpet—then noticed the faint sheen that shimmered on her tail’s underbelly.

I see…

What made him quite amused was the strange underwear she wore… like a shield that clung to her underneath the flowing dress that peeked out after wrapping around Ryan’s body once.

“Hm? Your body is strong, too. Are you a fighter?”

Her tongue flicked his cheek, not giving the poor lad a chance to respond, while Nikolai felt something hit his thigh, a dull pain that spread through his leg.

“So mean!” Clara huffed, her arms crossed beneath her chest, pushing up her breasts. “Handsome Brother! Don’t look at other women!”

Her cheeks bright red, Clara’s fair skin flushed a darker peach colour, with two empty bottles of wine beside her, and even a pair of ethereal wings popped from her back, fluttering against the chair.

“Only look at me, hehe~”

Nikolai’s heart began beating wildly the moment she pounced onto his lap, her soft, slender fingers gripping his shirt.

Though he could resist the desire, it grew difficult, each moment his hunger, not sexual but pure hunger… at first. Clara’s soft fingers carried a soothing scent, delicious milk and honey, warm to the touch and gentle.

Her legs dangled off the side of Nikolai’s lap as she straddled him, and with a faint hum and huff, she looked over to the Lamia and Ryan, who were still doing their little introduction.

The Lamia had coiled her lower body around Ryan and continued to lick his cheek and neck, “Cute human, what’s your name? I’m Amora.”

Nikolai’s nose twitched, the scent of Amora changed, from the previous to a more dense and musky aroma.

She’s probably going to enjoy Ryan tonight. He thought.

With a sigh, he grabbed the hips of the fairy trying to tease his face with her fingertips and lifted her into the air. “Let’s go.”

He looked back and took Aru and Clara out of the VIP box with a smirk on his face.

“Have fun brother.”

***

Nikolai never expected to set up his brother with a woman tonight, though she might eat him if he fails to satisfy. He left some money, and with his earnings from the win, his current Britannian currency was over a million, so he didn’t need to worry about spending money.

“Brother, ehehe~ carry me like a princess!”

The issue might be these two drunken fools…

A tabby cat and a fairy clung to him and mess with his face, the cat licking him with her rough tongue, which turned his cheek dark red from the friction. Clara just kept giggling while pointing out everything she could see in the street.

The city looked alive, with people and monsters alike walking the streets.

Though the people probably didn’t know they walked among monsters.

“Phew…”

Upon reaching his Supra GTX, he slipped the drunk Clara into her seat, but the moment her butt touched the leather, she bounced up and gripped his neck,

“Hey~ do you think I am pretty, Nikolai?”

A different voice, like a venus fly-trap, her low, tingling voice vibrated through his ears… a strange jolt shocked his brain as he grunted.

Nikolai’s skin filled with goosebumps as his fangs extended.

“Clara…”

“Tell me~ I want to know, am I pretty?”

Two hands around Nikolai’s neck as she pulled back, her modest gossamer dress parting, revealing her snow-white skin and delicate features. He swallowed deeply, the scent of milk and honey changed, now a more… charming scent.

The air that surrounded her body became thicker and more fragrant, the musk of her body growing stronger and stronger until it overwhelmed Nikolai.

Before he could recover, his fangs pressed against her neck, the tips denting her flesh as a faint trickle of red leaked from her skin. “Ah~ do you like me?”

“Y-You…” He grumbled… before

Bang!

Nikolai pulled away with a click.

He slammed his head against the roof as he slipped out, fastening the seatbelt and retracting his fangs.

“Don’t tempt me, Clara!”

“Che~~ I thought you’d lose yourself.”

Her eyes shimmered with a different glimmer, something malevolent and flirtatious, not the cute side she showed when sober; this must be the nature of her fairy blood.

Vrrroooom!

Nikolai’s eyes narrowed, his heart still racing against his chest. The painful lust and hunger he felt a moment before were still eating away at his conscious mind. He needed to return, to seek out Leona to calm his raging blood.

The Supra shot off like a bullet down the road.

***

A few minutes later…

Inside the elevator, Clara’s previous energetic atmosphere vanished.

She leaned against Nikolai, and after the rush of alcohol faded, she nodded off in the car. Now downright grumpy and dull, her scent changed to resemble pumpkin and Old Spice rather than the sweet aroma from before.

Her hand reached out towards the front door and unlocked it, then fiddled with the keys before handing them to him.

“Brother… about before.”

“It’s fine Clara, we’re both monsters and understand that sometimes we have needs and thoughts that are a little strange. I won’t tell Ryan and won’t get mad about it either.”

Her face lit up and reached out as if to hug him, but she hesitated for a moment before he nodded.

Nikolai didn’t expect much, just a hug from the girl, but instead, the fairy floated to his height, and before he could react, she pecked his cheek with her cold, squishy lips.

It happened so quickly that Nikolai just stood in place without moving; he knew she was drunk and probably meant nothing by it.

But the blood and instinct he held back surged again… his vision became blurry, and the hunger he tried to endure, a blood frenzy began to grow.

Dark.

Hungry.

Aroused.

Clara darted off immediately after her kiss. The dark apartment greeted Nikolai, who stepped inside. He needed Leona. A feminine scent filled the entire penthouse as he followed the delicious scent.

“Where…”

He muttered, his fangs fully extended. Each step felt like an eternity until…

“Ah~”

The scent of flowers and coconut filled the air.

He found her, the source that could help soothe his hunger… under the silver moonlight.

“Nikola—Mmmnph!?”

Before she could speak, he hugged her from behind, pulling her chin back so he could kiss her, the movement of her tongue slow, and a little strange compared to usual… her body moved against him perfectly, then leaned into the kiss, her hands hesitant to wrap around him, before he guided one to stroke the bulge in his jeans.

After the long kiss, he pulled away with a low grumble, “Nnnnn… you taste a little different… but I need you right now…”

“A-Are you okay… Nikolai?” The voice was different, a little higher than he was used to.

Yet the haze of blood pulsed, blocking his thoughts and sight.

Her curvy hips lifted as he pressed her against the wall, the smooth black fabric of her skirt rolled up her thigh, exposing a vibrant leopard print thong, and a beautiful, round ass.

He reached down and slid his middle finger along her covered slit—her soft petals squishy and wet.

“You’re eager, too, huh?”

“I am… so much… you have no idea… Finally~ I’m happy.”

Hm?

For a moment, there was a sense of doubt, as her warm breath blew down his cheek, those thoughts vanished as he pulled the thin string aside, the sticky threads of honey drooping down from the light pink slit.

Then… with a low growl and her slight groan, his swollen beast devoured her.
