Omega Summoner

Chapter 2606: Corrupted King Rises

The outward lands rushed towards the area where Adrian is exerting his gravitational anomaly. Grand Mistress Nu Wa along with the other Ryujin attendants made use of their exceptional elemental mastery. Grand Mistress Nu Wa planned to bury the Corrupted Huanglong deeper than before because the ground of the eastern continent is part of the Seal of Four Directions.

Grand Mistress Nu Wa does not have assurance that this will stop the Corrupted Huanglong, but she believed that this would at least help them buy a few days’ time. The entirety of the eastern continent does not have the power to resist the Corrupted Huanglong. A powerful Primordial Divine Beast trapped for thousands of years is not something that a land without divine gods can handle.

”Do you really think that you will be able to trap me forever?” A dark and raspy voice from the depths of the ground suddenly reverberated.

”Impossible! Even if the Seal of Four Directions have perished, the Heavenly Cudgel should still suppress you.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she was in disbelief that she can already feel the power of the Corrupted Huanglong.

”I am the Yellow Emperor! Destined Ruler of the East! The most powerful Divine Emperor that has ever lived! Do you think a measly stick from a beast can ever hold me down?” The dark and raspy voice of the Corrupted Huanglong reverberated as the ground trembled.

Grand Mistress Nu Wa and her two attendants used all of their might and pushed the enchanted ground to the limit. They created an entire mountain to trap the Corrupted Huanglong. This should reinforce the Heavenly Cudgel’s seal on the Corrupted Huanglong as it gathers energy from the land of the eastern continent. This is what Grand Mistress Nu Wa believed anyway as the rumbling ground suddenly became quiet when the mountain formed.

”Did we manage to buy some time?” Grand Mistress Nu Wa thought as she inspected to see if the energy from the Corrupted Huanglong has ceased.

Adrian also stopped as his mana almost got depleted but he managed to create a mountain with Grand Mistress Nu Wa and her attendants. He also rested a bit to check if the mountain will hold and saw no energy fluctuations. He believed that they should at least bought a week of time if there was no reaction like this. Still, he believed that the Corrupted Huanglong is not that weak of a monster even if it had been sealed for thousands of years.

”The number of divine souls it devoured could make it jump straight to a High God.” Adrian muttered which Grand Mistress Nu Wa clearly heard.

”Is what you say true, mediator?” Grand Mistress Nu Wa asked as she could not determine how powerful the divine souls were. She could only see stars falling down to the ground just like the rest.

”I believe so. That amount of divine energy could amount to the presence of a High God. I should know because I defeated one before.” Adrian stated as he remembered the pressure exuded back when he battled the Goddess Luminaria.

”This improvised seal will not hold! We must r...” Grand Mistress Nu Wa shouted but she was cutoff as soon as the ground or rather the mountain itself exploded.

The entire mountain that Adrian, Grand Mistress Nu Wa, and her attendants created exploded in an instant. The mountain did not just physically explode but there was also an explosion of miasma so powerful that it decimated an entire section of the forbidden zone. The powerful miasma of the Corrupted Huanglong pierced the skies of the eastern continent one again as it was finally freed from its seal.

The entirety of the Emei Sect along with a large area of the forbidden zone became a large pit. From the large pit came out a large serpentine dragon that had golden scales. One would think that a dragon with golden scales will have a holy aura around it, but this one did not. The Corrupted Huanglong had eyes that were like never ending darkness as it was pitch black.

Not only the eyes but the Corrupted Huanglong also exuded a polluted dark aura that destroyed even the mana around him. The very mana present in the air is corrupted just by touching the aura around it. It created miasma just by existing and this miasma is unlike the ones that Adrian has encountered.

”Ah! Finally free from being sealed.” The Corrupted Huanglong’s dark and raspy voice stated as it looked around.

The Corrupted Huanglong immediately tried to do the first thing that popped inside its head. It immediately flew high up in the sky as it wanted to see if the seal still has an influence on it. The Corrupted Huanglong managed to fly up high, but it suddenly felt a powerful restrictive force bear on it when it got passed five hundred meters. It also saw a large formation be created on the ground of the eastern continent.

”Tch! The seal of Tathagata has yet to perish. I am still trapped in the eastern continent even if I am no longer bound by the Seal of the Four Directions.” The Corrupted Huanglong stated as there is an even more ancient seal that trapped the Huanglong in the eastern continent.

This seal was created by the Perfect Enlightened One which is a powerful Primordial God from the Eastern Continent. It is a seal that trapped the Huanglong in the eastern continent, but it also ensured that nothing in the eastern continent could ever kill it. This is the reason why the gods back then could only seal the Corrupted Huanglong instead of outright kill it when other divine beings could be killed.

”It does not matter. I need to recover some of my energy anyway. The mountain that she created did use up some of the divine energy I collected just now.” The Corrupted Huanglong stated as it returned to the ground hoping to see Grand Mistress Nu Wa and punish her.
