Chapter 2751: Chapter 2751: Make A Report

Finally, Tang Qin Hao told the shell-shocked assistant that two mysterious, highly trained individuals had breached the safe house, rescued him by force, and administered the advanced drug that had been injected into his body.

The assistant’s face became increasingly ghost-like pale the more he listened to the terrifying sequence of events.

“This… This is an absolute outrage!” The assistant slammed his hand violently against the wooden table. “We must report this to the federal authorities immediately! They have to launch a full-scale investigation and find whoever orchestrated this!”

Tang Qin Hao nodded slowly, his eyes cool. “Hmm. I agree. I think that’s the correct path forward.”

The assistant immediately pulled out his phone and began making several urgent, high-priority calls. First, he officially informed the frantic conference organisers that Tang Qin Hao had safely returned to the hotel premises. Next, he contacted the dedicated search parties who had spent the entire night combing the city for his body.

Naturally, every single person on the other end of the line immediately demanded the exact same answer. What exactly happened to Dr Tang?

The assistant simply repeated the precise timeline Tang Qin Hao had provided. The shocking news of a daylight abduction spread throughout the medical conference like wildfire almost immediately. Many international delegates and high-ranking doctors became furious and deeply alarmed after learning that one of the conference’s premier keynote speakers had actually been snatched in broad daylight right inside the secure conference venue.

Someone quickly escalated the incident, reporting it directly to the highest rungs of local law enforcement. Not long afterwards, several senior police detectives arrived at the luxury hotel to officially take Tang Qin Hao’s statement.

After finishing his intensive interview with the authorities, Tang Qin Hao finally smoothed his suit and returned to the main conference hall to resume his duties. By then, some participants had already heard whispers of the kidnapping and looked at him with awe and concern. Others remained completely unaware of the underworld plot, merely assuming that the brilliant Dr Tang Qin Hao had encountered an urgent, confidential personal matter that had forced him to abruptly miss yesterday’s afternoon sessions.

Meanwhile, after recording Tang Qin Hao’s official statement, the detectives assured him that they would investigate the kidnapping with the full force of the law and identify every single conspirator involved. As their very first investigative step, the officers requested that the hotel manager immediately contact the high-profile guests currently occupying the Presidential Suite. According to Tang Qin Hao’s detailed testimony, those two mysterious individuals had not only rescued him from the safe house but had also provided temporary medical shelter while he recovered from the paralysis. The police hoped these elite vigilantes might possess additional tactical information regarding the kidnappers’ identities.

Knowing that this was part of an official, high-level criminal investigation, the hotel manager did not hesitate. He immediately dialled the private number registered during the previous day’s check-in.

The call was answered by a deep, unwavering baritone. It was Long Hui.

The manager quickly and politely explained that police detectives were currently on-site and wished to speak with both occupants regarding the rescue of Dr Tang Qin Hao. Yu Qi, who was sitting comfortably beside Long Hui on the master bed, caught every word of the conversation because the call had been placed on speakerphone. She simply offered a sharp, amused nod of agreement.

“If the officers wish to speak with us to take a statement, they are welcome to come up to the Presidential Suite.” Long Hui calmly replied into the receiver.

Having little other choice if they wanted to crack the case, the police detectives followed the anxious hotel manager into the elevator and rode it up to the top floor. A few minutes later, they arrived outside the double doors of Room 1201 and knocked firmly.

The door soon swung open. Long Hui stood there, his imposing, disguised figure instantly commanding the room as he stepped aside to let them pass. “Please, come in.”

The police officers entered the luxurious, sprawling suite, instantly noting the pristine, secure environment.

“You may have a seat.” Yu Qi gestured politely toward the leather sofas, her voice smooth and entirely unbothered. “I assume you have come to ask questions because of the doctor we brought back last night.”

“Yes, Miss.” One of the lead detectives nodded, pulling out a notepad as he sat down. “Miss, if you don’t mind me asking, how exactly did you first become aware that Dr Tang Qin Hao had been kidnapped from this venue?”

“Because my companion and I witnessed the entire abduction unfold with our own eyes.” Yu Qi lied smoothly, her face a perfect mask of civilian innocence.

“You witnessed it directly?” The detective asked, surprised by their luck.

“Yeah… We were sitting inside our parked car in the lower basement parking lot when it occurred. Several men dressed in tactical black suits suddenly approached a young man who had just stepped out of the private elevator. They aggressively surrounded him before forcing him toward a black SUV with tinted windows.” Yu Qi nodded calmly, spinning her cover story flawlessly. She paused briefly, letting the detail sink in before continuing. “At first, we thought they were simply a private security detail accompanying a VIP. However, after watching their aggressive body language more carefully, it became completely obvious that they were forcing him into the vehicle entirely against his will.”

“So you made the choice to follow them out of the city?” The detective pressed.

“Yes.” Yu Qi nodded, her tone matter-of-fact. “We became highly suspicious of the criminal activity, so we secretly tailed their vehicle from a safe distance. Eventually, they drove deep into the countryside to an isolated, abandoned house located entirely in the middle of nowhere.”
