Chapter 2070: Chapter 2070: Explain The Situation

They arrived home. Everyone rushed to Yu Qi as soon as they saw her.

”Yu Qi... Are you okay?” Ming Yue asked.

”I am fine.” Yu Qi nodded.

”You are not injured, did you?” Su Xiao asked.

”Well, I do have some bruises but nothing is serious.” Yu Qi shook her head.

”What? Bruises? We need to go to the hospital to check if you have an internal injury.” Ming Yue stated.

Yu Qi grabbed Ming Yueʼs hand. ”Auntie Ming Yue, calm down.”

Ming Yue looked at Yu Qi in worry. ”How can we calm down?”

”Auntie Ming Yue, I am fine.” Yu Qi stated again.

”Dear, letʼs calm down first and listen to what Yu Qi wants to say, okay?” Tang Jung Wen patted Ming Yueʼs back.

”Yes...” Ming Yue nodded.

The situation was finally calm down.

Grandpa Tang saw Yu Qi was in a mess. ”You can go and take a bath first. After that, you can explain the situation to us, right?”

”Yes. Thank you, Grandpa.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Do you need our help?” Su Xiao asked.

”Itʼs okay, Auntie Su Xiao. I will be fine.” Yu Qi smiled.

So, Yu Qi went to her room first to get a bath and change her clothes. After about half an hour, Yu Qi had done bathing and changing her clothes. She returned to the living room again.

Yu Qi sat down beside Tang Jin Wei.

”What actually happened, Yu Qi?” Grandpa Tang asked.

”Someone wants to kill me.” Yu Qi stated.

”Yes, we know that.” Tang Han Lee responded.

”You know?” Yu Qi was surprised. ”How do you know that?”

”Well, when someone knocked out your car to the ravine, a car passed the area and saw everything. His dashcam even recorded the incident.” Tang Jing Wei answered.

”I see.” Yu Qi nodded.

”The police, ambulance and firefighters were rushed to the place. But they did not see you there. They suspected you were burned to ashes.” Grandpa Tang said. ”So, where were you?”

”I did not know there was someone who passed when they knocked on my car. After they knocked out my car, I immediately got out of the car, I managed to grab the branches and the car fell down. I was afraid that they were coming down and checking on me. So, I ran to the woods. I ended up lost in the woods for three days. I searched for the way out. In the end, I returned to the area where the incident occurred.” Yu Qi said.

”Why are you not calling us after you jumped out of the car?” Tang Han Lee asked.

”I did grab my phone when I jumped out of the car but I lost it when I hit some branches. I did not think to find the phone at that moment and left the area immediately. After I returned to the area, I coincidentally found the phone and called you guys. If I donʼt find the phone, I probably will be hitchhiking someone who passes the road.” Yu Qi explained.

”Why were you on the mountain road?” Tang Qin Hao asked.

”I am thinking of going to a shop in the next town. So, I headed to that road. However, I noticed the car behind me was suspicious. I was driving quite slowly at that time. They could easily pass me since there were two lanes. However, they were not. Then, they started bumping into my car several times before they knocked the car into the ravine.” Yu Qi said.

”I see... So, do you have any idea who might be the one behind this incident?” Grandpa Tang asked again.

”I am afraid I am not. I donʼt have any idea. Have the police find anything? They have the recording right?” Yu Qi wondered.

Everyone was shaking their heads.

”Turned out the registration number on the car was fake. They probably stole the car and put in another registration number. Whatever it was, the clue ended there.” Tang Jung Wen stated.

”They might be flustered if they know you are alive.” Tang Jin Wei said.

”They might try and target you again.” Tang Han Lee added.

”So, Yu Qi will be in constant danger, then.” Ming Yue said.

”Why donʼt we arrange a bodyguard for Yu Qi?” Tang Jang Qin suggested.

”That is a great idea.” Su Xiao thought the idea was good.

”Hmm... I will talk with Brother Hui first. His friend owns the bodyguard service company.” Yu Qi said.

She did not want someone to follow her constantly and watch her. It would be uncomfortable.

”As for now, you donʼt need to go anywhere. As your job at the hospital, I will let you take a break.” Tang Jung Wen said.

”As for your other jobs, you may ask your subordinates to come over and handle everything here.” Tang Jang Qin added.

”Yes. Donʼt go out for a while.” Ming Yue stated.

Su Xiao nodded. Yu Qi would be fine.

Yu Qi nodded. She did not mind. She would let the mastermind think she had already died. ”Hmm... We still need to inform the police first. After that, we need to convince them to keep Yu Qi alive for a while.” Grandpa Tang reminded them

”Yes. They need to know.” Tang Jung Wen stated.

”Since we are fine, Yu Qi needs some check-up.” Ming Yue said.

”Yes. She has bruises. It is probably because she fell on the branches when she jumped out of the car.” Su Xiao said.
