Chapter 2067: Chapter 2067: Frantically Looking For Her

The police and fire department came to investigate the matter. They arrived about two hours considering this place was quite far from civilization and the traffic jams because there was another accident that occurred on the way. The witness told them that there was not an accident because he clearly saw that the car had been pushed into the ravine by another car.

He also had a dashcam to support his statement. The police requested to see the recording. He showed the video to the police. Seeing this video, the police confirmed it was not an accident but a planned murder.

Right now, the police have to investigate who the owner of this car is. The fire department was working hard to extinguish the fire. Only after the fire had been extinguished, the police could start the investigation.

They inspected outside the car first. The plate number was slightly visible would help them to determine who the owner of the car was. They immediately checked the registration number of the car.

They got the result immediately. This car belonged to Tang Yu Qi.

”What? Are you sure it belongs to Doctor Yu Qi?” A police officer asked.

The police officers knew who Yu Qi was. They were shocked to hear this car belonged to Yu Qi. ”Donʼt make a conclusion yet. We need to investigate more about this.” The leader said.

The forensic department came forward to investigate the inside of the car. The car exploded and burned so badly. Not only that, it continuously burned for about two hours.

The complete incineration of a human body took about two to three hours. The forensic team told the police officer what they found out.

The police officer went to the Tang Mansion. The people were surprised to see the police officers come to their house. They invited the police officers to come in. Grandpa Long, Ming Yue and Su Xiao gathered in the living room. They served some tea to the police officers.

”Sir Duan, why are you coming to my house? Is there something happening?” Grandpa Tang politely asked the police officer.

The leader, Duan Tingguang sighed before he started to talk. ”Elder Tang, do you know this registration number?”

”This is Yu Qiʼs registration number for her car.” Ming Yue spoke out.

”What happened?” Grandpa Tang could feel something happened to Yu Qi.

”Something happened on the mountain road outside the city. Another driver saw this car had been pushed by another car into the ravine. It exploded and burned.” Duan Tingguang explained.

”What?” Grandpa Tang was shocked.

”No... It canʼt be...” Ming Yue shook her head.

”Yu Qi... Yu Qi...” Su Xiao was trembling.

”We still could not confirm if the one who drive this car is Ms Tang. I hope you can confirm her whereabouts. If you can confirm her whereabouts, meaning getting this is car might be stolen.” Duan Tingguang said.

”Yes... Yes... Letʼs call the hospital. Yu Qi must be working right now.” Su Xiao said.

”I will call my husband now.” Ming Yue nodded.

She immediately dialled her husbandʼs number. After two ringings, the call was finally answered by Tang Jung Wen.

”Yes, dear. Why are you calling me in the middle of the day?” Tang Jung Wen asked.

His wife usually never called him at the time like this. It must be something urgent that needed his cooperation.

”Jung Wen, can you check if Yu Qi is working today?” Ming Yue asked.

”Huh? Why?” Tang Jung Wen asked.

”Just check it.” Ming Yue roared.

Tang Jung Wen was surprised but his hand immediately logged in to the hospital system. In this system, they could see everyoneʼs schedule. Tang Jung Wen searched for Yu Qiʼs

schedule.

”Hmm... She was on call last night. So, she is off for today. She will come in this evening.” Tang Jung Wen said.

”Really? Are you sure?” Ming Yue asked back.

”Yes. She clocked out this morning.” Tang Jung Wen stated.

Without ending the call, Ming Yue started to speak with the police officer.

”She is not at the hospital.” Ming Yue stated.

”Then, it is possible that she is in that car.” Duan Tingguang said.

”No... No... Yu Qi can not die.” Ming Yue cried.

”First Madam Tang, we still need to search for her whereabouts first.” Duan Tingguang said.

”Yes... Yes...” Ming Yue nodded.

Su Xiaoʼs tears already flowing down her cheek.

”Ming Yue... Ming Yue... Talk to me... What happened?” Tang Jung Wen shouted wanting to

get attention from his wife.

Ming Yue realized the call had still not ended yet.

”Dear...” Ming Yueʼs voice cracking.

”Tell me. What is going on?” Tang Jung Wen demanded an explanation.

Ming Yue told him everything. Tang Jung Wen was also shaking when he heard what happened from Ming Yue. He already thought of Yu Qi as his daughter. So, when he heard about this incident, he could not believe it.

”I will try to look for Yu Qi.” Tang Jung Wen said.

”Hmm...” Ming Yue replied.

”We will investigate the matter. From what we could see here, it is obviously a planned murder and the target is Ms Tang.” Duan Tingguang said.

”Please.” Ming Yue said.

”If you find Ms Tang, please inform us. We need to protect her from the culprit. If they know Ms Tang is safe, they might try it again.” Duan Tingguang said.

”Yes, we will.” Grandpa Tang nodded.
