1978  Chapter 1978: Brat

”Like I said earlier, that person wanted to ruin our relationship. He wanted to make it like I was the one who kidnapped my grandfather and forced him to hand over his shares to me. That is why my name is in the document.” Yu Qi smiled.

Yes, it was stated in the document that Grandpa Mu would hand over his 40% shares to Yu Qi. However, that person did not know that Grandpa Mu was willing to surrender his shares to Yu Qi with any force if Yu Qi was willing to accept that.

Of course, Yu Qi was unwilling. If she accepted the shares, she would have to get involved in Mu Groupʼs business which she did not have plan to get involved in. Grandpa Mu handed over this document for her to hold. Because if this document reached Mu Family members, especially Mu Li Zei or Mu Yian, it would be chaos. That was what that person was aiming for, Yu Qi thought. ”Have you found out about that personʼs identity?” Long Hui asked.

”Not yet... I already asked Baise and Neko-chan to find out but still no avail.” Yu Qi sighed. ”I will ask Third Brother to take a look. Give me the number.” Long Hui stated.

”Okay.” Yu Qi nodded. ....

Yu Qi and Long Hui stepped out from the hotel room at the same time when Grandpa Tang also came out. Grandpa Tang was surprised to see Long Hui there. For the moment, he recovered. He approached the couple. ”You brat, when do you arrive?” Grandpa Tang asked.

It seemed the brat here was Long Hui. Long Hui also knew that Grandpa Tang was asking about him.

”Yesterday.” Long Hui said. ”Why canʼt you book another room for yourself?” Grandpa Tang asked again.

”Grandpa, the hotel is full. You know that the ceremony award was yesterday. A lot of the guests stayed at this hotel.” Yu Qi stated.

”Humph! You always defend this brat.” Grandpa Tang rolled her eyes.

Yu Qi just smiled glancing at Long Hui who had been called Brat by Grandpa Tang. She then pulled Grandpa Tangʼs hand and walked beside Grandpa Tang. ”Letʼs go and eat breakfast first.” Yu Qi said.

They walked to the restaurant, chose the food from the buffet section and sat at the table. Luckily, they were earlier a few minutes. Because after they sat, a lot of people came into the restaurant to eat breakfast. ”So, what is your plan after this? We still have one day to stay here before return tomorrow.” Grandpa Tang asked.

”Hmm... We are going to visit Grandfather. He was hospitalized yesterday.” Yu Qi stated.

Grandpa Tang was surprised. ”What happened?”

”Grandfather also got kidnapped by someone.” Yu Qi said.

”Him too?” Grandpa Tang could not believe it.

”Yes. Grandpa, the reason why you got kidnapped yesterday is because of me. Someone wants to get back at me. They even called me informing me about the kidnapping and asking me to choose between you and grandfather. I am sorry that you are in danger because of me.” Yu Qi explained.

Grandpa Tang patted Yu Qiʼs head. ”Silly girl. It is not because of you. They also aimed for me, for my knowledge.”

”What?” Yu Qi looked at Grandpa Tang.

”They threatened me for your safety. If it is for you coming to save me. I might agree on their term.” Grandpa Tang said. ”How dare they...” Yu Qi clenched her fists.

”I will follow you visiting your grandfather.” Grandpa Tang said.

”Hmm...” Yu Qi nodded.

”By the way, did you go and save your grandfather by yourself?” Grandpa Tang changed the subject slightly.

Yu Qi shook her head. ”No... No... Brother Hui is. I am only telling him the location.” ”Hmm... Good. You can not just barge into a dangerous place. Understand?” Grandpa Tang reminded Yu Qi.

”Yes, Grandpa.” Yu Qi nodded.

They could not continue talking anymore since one by one people came and greeted Grandpa Tang at their table. Grandpa Tang kept getting annoyed by people who continuously talking to him making him having hard eating to eat.

”Excuse me, everyone.” Yu Qi stood up. Everyone stopped talking and looked at Yu Qi. They recognised Yu Qi, one of the winner award.

”My grandfather wants to eat i in peace. Can you leave us now?” Yu Qi said politely. They immediately apologized to Grandpa Mu and Yu Qi before leaving. ”Finally a peace comes.” Grandpa Tang took a relief breath. They wanted to talk to the legendary Miracle Doctor. Well, it has been a while since people surrounded him like that. After breakfast, they went heading to the hospital to visit Grandpa Mu. Long Hui was driving them. They knew where Grandpa Mu was. So, there was no need to ask the nurse at the registration counter. It seemed Grandpa Muʼs side already also prepared his own bodyguards seeing there was two of them guarding the entrance. The guards blocked their path. ”I want to visit Grandpa Mu.” Yu Qi said. ”Let me check with Chairman Mu first.” One of the bodyguards stated.

He was about to open the door when suddenly the door was opened from inside. There was a young man coming out of the room.

He was Mu Kuang He, son of Mu Li Zei. He just yawned. When he opened his eyes again, he was startled when he saw everyone was looking at him.
