Chapter 1590 1590: Found One Of The Islands

Grandpa Weiʼs facial expression changed for a moment before changing to normal again. It was a split second. However, Wei Zichen managed to catch it.

ʼDad seems worried about Mum.ʼ Wei Zichen thought.

Grandpa Wei coughed to clear his throat. He already decided to forget about that woman. He should not think about her anymore. But hearing that she was not in good condition, really made him worried.

”Up to you. But you can not force Su Kee and Su Zien to go and live with her, especially Su Zien. He did not close to his grandmother. And Su Kee seems to be distant from her grandmother recently.” Grandpa Wei explained.

He did not want his grandchildren to be stressed about this matter.

”You donʼt have to worry about this, Dad. I am not planning to take both of them to go and live with Mum. Only Ni Lan and I will go and live over there.” Wei Zichen stated.

”Okay.” Grandpa Wei nodded.

At the kitchen

”You will go and live with Mum? Just two of you?” Gu Muxue asked.

”Yeah. Mumʼs condition is not too good. I am worried about her living alone over there.” Feng Ni Lan said.

”Really? Thatʼs good. To be honest, I donʼt expect Dad would divorce Mum...” Gu Muxue sighed.

”It is not our place to comment about their relationship.” Feng Ni Lan responded.

Feng Ni Lan remembered something.

”You can ask Ding Ye to move in back.” Feng Ni Lan stated. ”It is much better.” She added.

”Hmm... I am planning to tell her later too. Well, I am worried about her health. Eating out too much is not good.” Gu Muxue agreed.

...

Elder Mong was 60% cured of his poison. He already stood up for a few minutes.

Yu Qi recommended he do that a couple of times each other. It would stimulate his muscles which had long not been used.

Elder Mong also changed. He was not so gloomy at any time. He even responded to the nurse kindly. Not like when he first came here when he always showed a bad expression on his face.

Elder Mong also told a few pieces of information that he remembered. Yu Qi conveyed that information to the authorised.

The authorised told Yu Qi that they indeed had found an island nearly at Guanxiang City, a city located in the south region of Binhai Nation.

The island was around 120 kilometres from the mainland. The island had a lot of buildings. Some small and some big. It fits the description of what Elder Mong told them.

However, the buildings were already crumbled. Meaning, this island had already been abandoned for quite some time.

The government was very surprised at how they could build such many facilities about the government or other people noticed.

When the authorised asked people around about this matter, the people thought it was the government facilities and had been abandoned.

An old man who worked as a fisherman 20 years ago told the authorised that there were guards around the island. He accidentally entered their range. At the time, her boat ran out of oil.

pandasnovel.com The guards stopped him and asked what he doing there. The guards were very aggressive. He was in fear explaining the matter.

After confirming the story, the guards gave him enough oil for him to return to the mainland. The guards told him that he should never come here again. They even told him that this island was protected by the government.

At that time, the old man believed them. He was a good citizen who believed in the government. Many years passed, and he once again accidentally went to the island again.

This time, he did not see anyone but empty buildings. He and a few people explored the place and found nothing.

After getting some information about the island, the authorised went to the island to investigate. As people said, nothing was there except for the empty buildings.

They investigated further. And one of them found something horrible. In one place, there were a lot of bones buried deep inside the ground.

They were not animal bones. But human bones. Not one person. Probably hundreds of people had been buried over there.

Right now, they were planning to dig out all of the bones. Also, they explored deeper around the facilities which looked like their laboratory and office. Who knew, they probably got some clues about this matter.

These people probably moved to another island. They had to find it. So, they were also planning to investigate all the island under Binhai Nation. Even private islands, they would not be missing out.

Yu Qi who heard about this was shocked. She told Elder Mong about this.

”It must be one of their islands. They probably left the island after they thought the island was not safe anymore for the activities.” Elder Mong stated.

”The authorised said that they found bones buried at one place.” Yu Qi said.

”It was called a massive grave. They did not have time to take care of the death people. They would just throw the bodies into one big hole that they dug.” Elder Mong sighed.

He knew about that because he was told by the guards to throw his friend into that holes. He was crying and trembling at that same time  when he was told to do so. He was only 12 years old at that times. The experience was horrible.
