Chapter 1566 1566: Manage To Find Out About Zhao Yongzhungʼs Problem

Yu Qi coughed a few times when she remembered the last night. Long Hui was making out with her three times in the bathroom before they finally got out from the bathroom.

She thought it was over. But after only half an hour she wore the clothes, and the clothes took off by Long Hui again. They ended up doing it five times on the bed.

After begging so much to stop, Long Hui finally listened to her and let her off the hook. Yu Qi finally got some sleep.

She slapped her cheek a few times wanting her mind focused on what she wanted to do right now. She was going through the medical report that might have some similar symptoms to Zhao Yongzhungʼs symptoms.

She already asked about his family medical history. But none of the data helped her in this case. She also asked some doctors for their opinion. But still, no answer.

It was a tough case to crack but she did not give up. She spent hours of reading. She noticed something from her reading. Her eyes lifted. She stood up and got out of her room as soon as possible.

She rushed to Zhao Yongzhungʼs room. Yu Qi knocked on the door. Zhao Yongnian was the one who opened the door.

”Oh, my goddess. Come in.” Zhao Yongnian was happy to see the beauty.

Yu Qi did not have time to waste on Zhao Yongnian. She quickly entered the room. Madam Zhao was also there. There were also doctors and nurses around.

Ignoring the other two, Yu Qi looked at Zhao Yongzhung.

”Did you surf?” Yu Qi asked.

”What?” Zhao Yongzhung was stunned.

”Did you surf before you paralyzed?” Yu Qi repeated the same question.

”Yeah, two days before coming here but it was my first lesson. I did not wipe out or anything...” Zhao Yongzhung wanted to explain more.

But Yu Qi immediately smiled. ”It is surferʼs myelopathy.”

”What?” The other doctors also wanted to know more about that.

”It is an extremely rare condition with only about 100 cases worldwide.” Yu Qi said.

”Wait a minute, only 100 cases worldwide?” The doctor was shocked.

”Yes.” Yu Qi nodded to the doctor. She turned back to Zhao Yongzhung. ”When the backʼs hyperextended, a blood vessel leading to the spine becomes kinked, depriving the spinal cord of oxygen.”

”Wow, Doctor Yu Qi, that is a tough diagnosis. How do you figure it out?” Another doctor asked feeling impressed.

”I just read about 657 patientsʼ reports of spinal cord injuries.” Yu Qi stated.

”You just read all of that?” Both doctors were shocked.

”Yeah... I just found this guy in 1998, one in 2001, then in 2013 and more. Surfing lessons are mentioned in almost all of them. Here I was thinking that Mr Zhao might have Guillain - Barre, turned out it was a spinal stroke.” Yu Qi said.

The doctors were still feeling amazed by Yu Qiʼs diagnosis.

”Excuse me, I want a spinal angio with intra-arterial tPA, start methylprednisolone and up his IV fluids.” Yu Qi said to the nurse.

The nurse wrote Yu Qi had told her and started working. ”Yes, Doctor Yu Qi.”

”I am going to induce hypertension to improve blood flow to your spine.” Yu Qi smiled.

”What does it mean?” Zhao Yongzhung asked.

”To put it simply, it is like if your phone battery was really low, and you found a really fast charger. I am going to do that, with oxygen and your spine.” Yu Qi explained.

Zhao Yongzhung nodded.

”Am my son going to be okay?” Madam Zhao asked.

”He still needs to undergo the treatment first.” Yu Qi said.

...

That night, Long Hui brought Yu Qi to Rose Nightclub. When Yu Qi asked why, Long Hui told her that Liang Mo Han already completely recovered from the injuries.

He wanted to celebrate but he did not want to waste any money. So, he just did it at his nightclub.

”Oh, he is stingy.” Yu Qi chuckled.

As usual, Long Hui brought her to enter the backdoor. After showing his card, the guards let Long Hui and Yu Qi in.

Well, some people thought that they could use the same entrance but had the guards stopped them in time.

”What? Why canʼt we enter but the person before us can?” One of them asked.

”This entrance required a special pass. They have that pass. That is why they can enter using this entrance.” The guards explained.

”What?”

”Hey, letʼs go. It is not worth arguing. This is Rose Nightclub. If you make trouble, you should know what happens next.”

Hearing that, they left and went to the front entrance where the usual customers used to enter the nightclub.

Long Hui and Yu Qi entered the room. The gang was already here except for Huang Lan Guan.

”Second Sister in law, long time no see.” Ren Qian Yi greeted Yu Qi with his usual spirit.

”Second Sister in law.” Fang Mo Li was more polite.

”Second Sister in law. I must thank you for what you did for me. If not for you, I might already die.” Liang Mo Han said.

He was very feeling grateful to Yu Qi. He heard from Ren Qian Yi that Yu Qi rushed over to come to the place as soon as possible after receiving the call from Long Hui. She ended up spending hours operating and saving him.
