I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 176 Let’s start with the old and new accountsChapter 176 Let’s settle old and new accounts together

”I really don’t know how you made the decision at that time. Is there any benefit for our organization to prevent Yinhai from exporting?” Jellica looked a little angry.

In her opinion, it is very irrational for WHO to go against Yinhai!

It was obvious that the last time it was handled so badly that the reputation of the WHO has been greatly reduced!
All the elders present here are smart people, how come they can’t even see this?
She finished her sentence.

The elders around were silent, seemingly thinking about something seriously.

Bearded Ryan said dissatisfiedly: ”It is true that there is no benefit in stopping Yinhai, but if we don’t stop Yinhai, the organization will lose more than 80% of its funds!”

Jellica was shocked when she heard this.

”He, they, are going to withdraw the funding we receive every year?”

”Humph!” Ryan snorted, ”What else do you think? Don’t we all see what you said?”

This time it was Jerrica’s turn to be silent.

The World Health Organization, especially its headquarters, is located in Liberty City. Almost all of its funds are donated by pharmaceutical companies. Since Phinox’s headquarters is also in Liberty City, 80% of its funds are sponsored by Phinox.

If Huirui really decides to suspend all sponsorship to WHO, WHO will not be able to function normally!

By then, it will be in name only, right?

Counting on funding from the World United Nations Headquarters?

What can you do with that little money?
Not to mention anything else, the little money allocated by the World United Nations Headquarters is only enough to buy a three-bedroom, one-living-room apartment in Liberty City, which is now the location of the WHO headquarters. What can it be used for?
So WHO has to rely on sponsorship from commercial organizations.

However, once an economic relationship is formed, it will be difficult for WHO to remain impartial when handling affairs. Over time, everyone knows that commercial organizations can influence WHO’s decisions.

It has become the norm now and no one is surprised.

Even within the WHO, everyone knows the person with the Huirui background, namely Ryan, one of the elders of the committee.

Ryan said this to convey Huirui’s ”will” -

Want money?

Then just listen to me!

The other six elders felt as uncomfortable as if they had eaten shit.

Being an elder of the World Health Committee is a high position no matter where you are. Now capital tells them that no matter how awesome you are, you have to listen to me!

Who doesn’t feel uncomfortable?

Jerica hesitated, ”Maybe we can seek sponsorship from other companies. There is more than one pharmaceutical group in the world, such as Huirui. There are also companies like Qiangsheng and Bond, and there is also Yinhai from Longguo.”

Ryan interrupted her before she could finish her words.

”Although Qiangsheng and Bond are not bad, they are not in Liberty City. This is not their sphere of influence. Are you sure you can offend the giant Huirui in Liberty City?”

”Not to mention Yinhai. We already offended him last time. If it were you, would you still be willing to sponsor us?”

I have to say that Ryan is quite eloquent, and with just a few words he left Jerrica speechless.

She obviously had a lot to say, but she didn’t know how to start, and she felt very frustrated.

But she also understands.

Although not all of what Ryan said was true, it was roughly true.

It is an ironclad fact that WHO is truly controlled by Huirui.

Without Huirui, WHO cannot maintain normal operations!

”But if you continue to help Huirui, and Yinhai’s old and new accounts are settled together in the future, can we really withstand it?” Jellica still refused to accept it.

Indeed, what she said makes sense.

Unconsciously, Yinhai has grown into the second largest pharmaceutical company in the world. Except for its weaker foundation than that of Huirui, there is nothing else that is different.

But Yinhai also has the strongest products in the world.

The patients’ dependence on Yinhai is terrifying!
If Yinhai wants to deal with WHO, just like last time, he only needs to use some small tricks and the patient will go crazy, and then WHO will be in great danger!
It is even possible, no, it is certain that bloodshed will occur!

For example, if Yinhai suddenly announced today: ”Due to the obstruction of the World Health Organization, all of our liver cancer, lung cancer, and leukemia drugs will be discontinued in the Lighthouse Country.”

I believe that the next day, crazy patients will overwhelm the World Health Organization!
Therefore, with Huirui and Yinhai competing with each other, WHO is in a dilemma.

Ryan said: ”Whether we can hold on or not, at least Huirui’s funding problem is right in front of us. Mr. William from Huirui told me some time ago that Huirui’s sponsorship of WHO will be settled on a monthly basis in the future. In other words, if Huirui stops sponsoring, we won’t be able to survive even two months!”

”Elders, what do you think?” Ryan turned and asked the five elders except Jellica.

The five elders were all quite old and were in deep thought at this moment.

Because of Jerrica’s failure to act, they have begun to lean towards Ryan.

that’s the truth.

”If we support Yinhai, we won’t get any benefits, but we will immediately lose our source of funds.”

”Supporting Huirui may offend Yinhai, but at least we don’t have to worry in the short term.”

”Even if Yinhai knows that we did it, our reasons for stopping them from exporting are legitimate, and it’s not a big deal. Yinhai can’t turn against us over something like this, right?”

Most of the elders think this way.

Jerrica wanted to say something, but when she opened her mouth, nothing came out.

She still wanted to go against Ryan.

But she couldn’t find a solution to the problem now and felt very helpless.

At this time, an elder said: ”What Ryan said is correct, just do as Ryan said.”

After these words came out, Jelica felt a tightness in her chest.

Although only one elder said this, people sometimes have a herd mentality, and once one person says it, others will agree.

Sure enough, after a while, another elder said, ”There is really no better way.”

Another elder is already considering how to implement it.

”You can delay it, but you must not openly oppose Yin Hai. You must find a real reason to delay it that can shut others up, and be as gentle as possible.”

Hearing this, Jelica sneered: ”You don’t think you can avoid offending Yinhai by doing this?”

No one responded to her words.

Everyone here knows that what Jerrica said is right, but what can they do?

”Jerica, why don’t you come up with a plan? As long as you can solve the problems of funding and Yinhai at the same time, we will do as you say, how about that? I believe the elders have no objection, right?” Ryan said.

Several old men nodded, obviously they all agreed with what Ryan said.

The six people looked at Jerrica. Jerrica was stunned. She couldn’t come up with any other solution.

In the end, she could only sigh.

”Okay, let’s do as you say.”

So, the matter was settled.

After two months of delay, Yinhai finally received a response to the drug verification it proposed to the WHO: However, rectification is needed.
