I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 161: As Long as You Don’t DieChapter 161: As Long as You Don’t Die
In Aunt Zhang’s opinion, she had neither committed any crime nor cheated, so why should she be arrested?
Do the police really only protect rich people?

Knowing this, she became fearless and acted as if she was fearless of nothing.

Soon.

The police really came.

It was obvious that the policeman knew Cheng Ming, and as soon as he arrived, he came up to Cheng Ming.

”Boss Cheng, you were the one who called the police? What happened?”

Cheng Ming then told the police what had happened and showed him the evidence that Feng Dawei had leaked company secrets.

Aunt Zhang next to her sounded more and more uneasy.

Why does this policeman seem to be a little biased towards Yinhai?

How can this work!
”You, you, you police officers can’t just listen to these rich people!”

”They fired my son in violation of regulations. They need to give me an explanation!” Aunt Zhang said anxiously.

The policeman said sternly: ”Comrade, please don’t say anything careless. We will enforce the law impartially!”

”Your son did leak Yinhai Pharmaceutical’s secrets, and there is sufficient evidence! Yinhai did not sue your son because it was an unintentional mistake. Otherwise, if it really went to court, your son would not only have to pay a large sum of money, but also go to jail!”

”This this”

The words ”paying money” and ”going to jail” obviously frightened Aunt Zhang.

People of this age are most afraid of these things.

Because she thought she was right, she never thought things might get to this point. It was only when the police warned her seriously that she started to get scared.

She herself didn’t care.

If my son goes to jail, his life will be ruined!
Seeing that she didn’t say anything, the policeman continued, ”Besides, this matter was originally your fault. It was because you leaked Yinhai’s secret that your son was expelled. Now you still have the nerve to come here and make trouble?”

”I’m not! You’re talking nonsense!”

Aunt Zhang’s chest heaved violently with anger.

”Now you are involved in obstructing the production and operation of businesses and provoking trouble. It is best to leave as soon as possible, otherwise I can take you to the police station!” said the police.

Aunt Zhang was so angry that she started cursing loudly.

”You are all no good!”

“Give my son a job!”

”Give us compensation!”

While cursing, she was ready to hit Cheng Ming.

But the police were here so how could they let her do this? The old lady was stopped by the police, who warned her as they stopped her.

After three ineffective warnings, the two policemen immediately pinned Aunt Zhang to the ground.

It wasn’t until she put on the hand grill that Aunt Zhang started to panic.

She thought she would be taught a lesson at most, but why was she handcuffed directly? She realized the seriousness of the matter!

”How can you arrest me? I haven’t broken any law!”

The police sneered: ”You obstructed the performance of public duties and provoked trouble, and you still say you didn’t break the law? Come with us to the police station to calm down!”

After saying this, he was about to take her away.

She broke down and, contrary to her usual behavior, begged the police and Cheng Ming.

”No, no, police comrade, I’m sorry, I don’t understand this.”

”Can you please let me go? Let’s talk it over. I didn’t know this was against the law.”

However, the police ignored her.

She turned to Cheng Ming again: ”Boss Cheng! Boss Cheng! Please beg for mercy on my behalf.”

”I was wrong, I was really wrong, I shouldn’t have come here to make trouble! I’m just angry.”

”Please ask the police for me. They will definitely let me go for your sake. I promise not to come here to cause trouble again, okay?”

However, no matter how she begged, Cheng Ming and the police ignored her.

Soon, she was taken away by the police.

Liu Hong’s husband is Gao Zhi, a liver cancer patient.

The disease was detected during Gao Zhi’s physical examination at work.

But in fact, Gao Zhi just felt tired sometimes, and sometimes his left abdomen was a little swollen (splenomegaly), but there were almost no other symptoms. But since liver cancer was discovered.

Gao Zhi was forced to resign from his original unit and start taking special medicine.

A bottle of medicine used to cost 16,000 or 17,000 yuan, and Liu Hong was reluctant to give him such expensive medicine.

Even if the entire family’s income comes from Gao Zhi’s salary.

But after all, Gao Zhi is out of work now.
Fortunately, the sky is endless.

This year, special drugs for liver cancer are included in medical insurance.

After reimbursement, it only costs more than two thousand yuan a month.

Liu Hong then reluctantly agreed and spent money to buy Gao Zhi medicine.

However, this family is still not living as well as before.

After all, before Gao Zhi fell ill, his income was quite good, more than 10,000 yuan a month, and more than 100,000 yuan a year.

Now I have been fired due to illness and can only recuperate at home.

Relying on the meager salary that Liu Hong earned as a salesperson, the family income dropped drastically.

So in the past year, Liu Hong’s attitude towards Gao Zhi has always been unkind.

When Gao Zhi had a high income before, she greeted him with a smile every day. Now that Gao Zhi is sick, her attitude has become worse and worse, and she even started to beat and scold Gao Zhi.

It’s not that Gao Zhi couldn’t resist.

He weighs 180 kilograms and is 1.75 meters tall. Although he has liver cancer, the symptoms are not obvious and have little impact on his physical strength.

He was fully capable of beating the 120-pound Liu Hong to pieces.

But he was terminally ill.

In his opinion, one day he would be physically weaker than Liu Hong. If he fought back now, what would Liu Hong do to him when he was old and weak?

So he didn’t dare to fight back.

Today, Gao Zhi suddenly had a fever, coughed, and felt weak all over.

He wakes up in the morning.

I forced myself to get up and make breakfast for Liu Hong and the children.

It was not until ten o’clock that Liu Hong woke up slowly.

She washed up slowly and sat down at the dining table. She looked around and saw only a bowl of white porridge and some pickles in front of her.

She was immediately unhappy.

”Gao Zhi, what do you mean, you make this for me for breakfast?”

Gao Zhizai sat slumped aside, and said weakly: ”Hong, I’m sorry, I’m not feeling well today, I have a fever, I’m sorry to bother you for a day.”

After hearing this, Liu Hong snorted in dissatisfaction, but fortunately she didn’t say anything else and began to show weakness.

After a while, Gao Zhi said weakly, ”Can you give me some money? I feel so uncomfortable. I want to go to the hospital.”

When Liu Hong heard Gao Zhi asking for money, her voice rose an octave: ”You want money again? You ask for money every day. How can I give you so much money?”

Liu Hong is in charge of the family’s finances now.

Gao Zhi’s lifeline was held in Liu Hong’s hand.

”I really feel uncomfortable. This time it doesn’t seem to be a liver symptom. I have a fever and cough. It’s so uncomfortable.” Gao Zhi said.

However, Liu Hong didn’t care about all this. She thought Gao Zhi was troublesome and was just looking for trouble.

”I already have liver cancer. Isn’t it normal to have some symptoms? Can’t I just bear with it? I take that special medicine every day. As long as I don’t die, is that enough?”

”I don’t have that much money to waste on you!”

Liu Hong said, her face full of complaints.

Gao Zhi looked very unhappy.

He didn’t expect that his wife would not even want to spend several hundred dollars to treat a cold and fever!

When he thought about how he worked hard for the family before he got sick, and how he only kept two hundred yuan out of his monthly income of more than ten thousand yuan for pocket money and gave the rest to his wife, he felt that he was too stupid.

He regrets it so much!
But what’s the use of regret?
His fate is no longer in his own hands.
