Starting as a Blind Beggar and Becoming a God

Chapter 143 Purifying the VillageChapter 143 Purifying the Village

In fact, Chen Huaian didn’t have to bring it into his body, but this would not be able to completely eliminate the evil spirit in Gu Ling’er’s body, so Chen Huaian had no choice but to choose this method.

After a long while, Chen Huaian stopped. His face was pale and he looked in very bad condition.

On the other hand, Gu Ling’er’s spirit was crystal clear, pure and flawless at this moment. There was not a trace of resentment or evil in her spirit. Her pure aura made her look like the darling of heaven and earth.

”Chen Huaian, you succeeded!” Meng Qiu shouted excitedly. Gu Ling’er listened to Meng Qiu’s shouting and felt her own changes. She was extremely shocked at this moment. She didn’t expect that she had become another kind of existence.

She came to Chen Huaian and knelt down without hesitation, ”Thank you for your kindness in giving me a new life.”

”No problem. Now you are a pure spirit and a special existence in this world. This corpse is dispensable to you, but we will still find a good feng shui site to bury your body properly.”

”As for your father, he will not survive.”

Gu Ling’er didn’t say anything, but kowtowed heavily to Chen Huaian.

Chen Huaian’s words were a promise to Gu Ling’er that he would definitely kill her father. Such a beast did not deserve to live.

”If you don’t understand how to practice, you can go to Shushan. I’ll write you a letter and they’ll accept you.”

”Thank you so much, my benefactor.”

”Well, Meng Qiu, do you have paper and pen?”

”Yes.” Meng Qiu said, handing the paper and pen to Chen Huaian.

Chen Huaian wrote on the letter paper: ”Second Senior Brother, this is the woman I rescued by chance. Because of her miserable experience, she almost fell into evil ways. I introduced her to Mount Shu, hoping that you can teach her how to practice. Now she has become a pure spirit.”

Chen Huaian finished writing and handed it to Gu Linger, ”Go, they will accept you.”

Gu Ling’er took the paper from Chen Huaian’s hand, bowed to him respectfully, and then left. She didn’t know where Shushan was, but now she was a pure spiritual body and could communicate with all things, so she was not afraid of not finding it.

Moreover, Shushan is a holy place for cultivation. She can find Shushan by just asking any cultivator or demon.

Chen Huaian was not afraid that Gu Ling’er would not be able to enter Shushan. He believed that with his master’s strength, she would be able to sense it when Gu Ling’er said the three words ”Chen Huaian”.

Meng Qiu looked at the direction where Gu Ling’er left, tears in his eyes, ”This ending is really a happy one for everyone, Chen Huaian, you are so capable!”

“I’m just doing what’s within my capabilities.”

Meng Qiu patted Chen Huaian on the shoulder and said, ”Don’t be so modest. It’s still within your ability. Not many people have your ability. You attracted evil spirits into your body, but the result was that your face turned pale for a moment, and then nothing happened. I really underestimated you.”

Meng Qiu looked at Chen Huaian as if he was looking at a very rare object.

”Don’t hang around me.” Chen Huaian knew the look in Meng Qiu’s eyes at the moment, but Meng Qiu had already accepted his identity as a blind man, so he didn’t want to point it out. Otherwise, what he said would not be ”Don’t hang around me”, but ”Why are you looking at me like that?”

”What are you going to do with those people next? They were killed by evil spirits, and their resentment is extremely deep. It won’t be long before they become evil spirits too. By then, this place will become a forbidden zone for the sick.”

”If it were me, I would choose to suppress them forcefully and let their souls return to heaven.”

”Chen Huaian, what you said really hits my heart.”

A smile appeared on Chen Huaian’s lips, ”You think so too.”

”of course.”

”Let’s go, suppress it.”

”Let’s go.” Meng Qiu said with a smile. From his face, it can be seen that he was very happy. Chen Huaian and Meng Qiu came to the village. At this moment, there was no breath of people in the village. There were corpses everywhere, and none of the corpses were intact. They were all broken limbs.

Gu Ling’er even made her husband into a human skin lantern and hung it in front of the door of her previous home.

”What are you going to do? I’ll follow your instructions. I feel you have a one-time solution. If I were alone, I would have to do it one by one.” Meng Qiu looked at Chen Huaian and said.

Chen Huaian took out eight small formations from the bag. Chen Huaian looked at the few remaining formations in the bag and shook his head secretly. He said in his heart: ”They are used up so quickly.”

”I will set up the Eight Methods Soul Purification Formation, and then activate the formation to purify this place.”

”How to do it? I’ll follow your instructions.”

”We need to set up formations in the eight directions of Qian, Kun, Zhen, Xun, Kan, Li, Gen, and Dui outside the village. Then I will chant the Soul Purification Mantra in the center of the formation, and then we can solve the troubles here at once.”

”You have to have a way.”

”Go and place it there. I still need to carve the formation needed in the center of the formation.”

”No problem.” Meng Qiu took the formation from Chen Huaian and began to set it up.

Chen Huaian took out the materials for carving the formation and began to draw on the ground stroke by stroke. As he carved, Meng Qiu also set up the formation and came to Chen Huaian.

He watched Chen Huaian carving the formation and couldn’t help but sigh: ”Huaian, you have a deep understanding of the formation.”

”Fortunately, it’s always good to have many skills.”

Meng Qiu wanted to say something, but when he saw Chen Huaian carefully carving the formation, he stopped talking.

In fact, he wanted to ask Chen Huaian why he could not see, but he carved the formation as if he could see, smoothly and in one go. Even those who could see might not be able to carve formations as good as Chen Huaian’s.

But he didn’t ask after all, because there are always some strange people in this world who have abilities that ordinary people can hardly imagine. He felt that Chen Huaian was such a person.

After half a quarter of an hour, Chen Huaian finished the painting.

After he finished the painting, he immediately made hand gestures and muttered something. As he moved, eight beams of light shot up into the sky. From a distance, it looked like eight pillars standing there.

Afterwards, golden and white runes continued to intertwine. Chen Huaian sat in the formation he had carved, and one mysterious and profound aura after another emanated from the formation.

The eight beams of light opened up, completely covering the place. Then, the evil spirit and resentment seemed to be stimulated by something and became extremely dangerous.

They attacked Chen Huaian who was in the formation, but since Chen Huaian was in the formation, they could not hurt him at all. However, Meng Qiu was not in the formation, so a funny scene appeared.

Meng Qiu was attacked by the evil spirit and resentment that were almost condensed into substance. Faced with such a huge amount of evil spirit and resentment, Meng Qiu could not resist it, so he was chased by it.

Chen Huai in the formation was as steady as a mountain, while Meng Qiu outside the formation dodged in panic.

”Huaian, hurry up! If you’re any slower, you’ll have to burn incense for me next year!”

Chen Huaian didn’t say anything, but changed the movements of his hands again. Suddenly, a sizzling sound was heard, like something was being fried.

Along with a ”sizzling” sound, the resentful evil spirit began to gradually dissipate, and it disappeared at a speed so fast that it was almost visible to the naked eye.

Meng Qiu was still running. Even though the resentful aura had been purified a lot, its concentration was still beyond his ability to resist.

After a long time, the resentful aura had faded, and Meng Qiu no longer needed to run. Chen Huaian took a deep breath and walked out of the formation. The moment he walked out of the formation, the formation shattered.
