The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2470: The plight of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe

In front of Cain floated three pieces of armor.

Along with the two fragments his first Blood Avatar had gathered, he now possessed almost everything needed to cover both of his arms. The metallic pieces hovered quietly in the air, ready to be assembled.

”If I had the fragment held by the Dark Blood King, I would possess every piece of the Sacred Treasure that landed in the Dark Blood Realm.”

A dangerous, cold light appeared in Cain’s eyes as the thought crossed his mind. For a brief instant, the possibility of taking it by force took shape.

But just as quickly, he dismissed the idea.

He had grown stronger—there was no doubt about that. Yet he had not forgotten the overwhelming pressure of the Dark Blood King’s Ancestor Domain. That was not a force he could challenge yet, and recklessness would only lead to ruin.

Without wasting time, Cain collected the three fragments, storing them carefully. However, he made sure to keep each piece separated.

Once the fragments of the Sacred Treasure fused with their corresponding parts, they would unleash their true power. Cain had no intention of triggering such a transformation while he was still inside the Dark Blood Realm. He had no idea what kind of reaction it might cause.

It could be subtle... or it could erupt with such intensity that every powerful being in the realm would immediately sense that someone had gathered the pieces.

That was a risk he could not afford.

After ensuring that no one was observing him, Cain silently returned to the Dark Blood Kingdom and merged back into the position of his afterimage. The transition was seamless, and to any watcher, it appeared as though he had never moved at all.

The rest of the night passed peacefully.

When the sun rose once more, Cain ascended into the sky to meet the Dark Blood King. General Fausto and General Averus were already present, their auras calm but heavy with restrained power.

The Scarlet King nodded to the trio. In the next instant, all four figures flashed into the distance.

They traveled for more than an hour, crossing vast territories at tremendous speed, until they reached a massive canyon. It stretched across the land like a wound carved into the world itself. Its depth was so immense that even the perception of an Alpha-Omega Overgod could not reach the bottom.

Without hesitation, the four descended like falling stars.

The deeper they went, the heavier the atmosphere became. Finally, they reached the bottom—but what awaited them was not solid ground.

Instead, an ocean of chaotic plasma churned beneath them.

Violent waves of energy surged endlessly, releasing arcs of lightning that tore through space itself. The air trembled with instability, and the laws of reality seemed distorted within the glowing storm.

Cain’s eyes narrowed.

What he was witnessing was the barrier between realms.

”It is far more powerful than the Empyrean Barriers,” he thought. ”And far stranger than the boundaries between the realms of the Crimson World. And this... this is during a period of weakness. At full strength, I wouldn’t even be able to approach.”

The Dark Blood King took a deep breath and glanced at the two generals. A moment later, the three released their full power.

Their energy and soul force erupted outward like a storm.

The auras of the trio fused together, forming a unified torrent of force that plunged into the plasma sea. The chaotic energy resisted violently, but the combined might of three peak powerhouses carved a path through it, forcing the barrier to yield.

The process was neither quick nor easy.

Reality twisted. Space cracked and reformed. Waves of destructive energy lashed in every direction.

But eventually, a tunnel formed—a wormhole piercing through the Paradise Realm Barrier. It was not large, only wide enough for a single person to pass through.

That was intentional.

The journey into the Eternal Soul Realm required secrecy. Traveling alone was the safest option. In truth, there was another reason Cain had been sent alone.

Although the Royal Bloodline did not value emotional bonds, it did value power. Losing elite warriors and a unique domain like the Ocean of the Blood Sun would be a serious loss. Cain’s eventual return was therefore strongly incentivized.

No one spoke those thoughts aloud.

But everyone understood them.

Cain simply played along.

The moment the wormhole stabilized, he shot forward at full speed and plunged into it.

The interior of the passage was unstable, filled with turbulent forces that could tear apart weaker beings instantly. Cain accelerated further, his eyes sharp and focused. Being trapped inside the collapsing tunnel would be extremely dangerous—even for him.

Fortunately, the wormhole held.

At last, he saw light ahead.

And a moment later, he crossed through.

---

Death.

Carnage.

Despair.

Brutality.

No words described the battlefield more accurately.

The void itself trembled under the weight of destruction. Broken bodies scattered in every direction, drifting like shattered debris through space. The aura of death was so thick it seemed almost tangible, heavy enough to taste.

Humanoid warriors from different races fought with unyielding courage and ferocious will. Their enemies were a horrifying and seemingly endless horde of abominations—creatures born of corruption and putrefaction, utterly devoid of fear.

At the heart of the battlefield stood a man with three violet eyes.

Eight stars revolved around his forehead like a celestial crown, each one pulsing with immense power. The absolute force of the Void gathered around his fist as he launched a punch capable of destroying entire worlds.

Yet the attack was intercepted.

A massive war axe met the blow head-on.

The weapon carried nothing but pure rage and overwhelming physical destruction. When fist and axe collided, everything around them collapsed. Space itself gave way under the pressure of their energies, leaving behind vast regions of emptiness—dark sinkholes in the fabric of reality.

The combatants were none other than Anark, True Primordial of the Void, and Robuke, the Monster of the Root.

Anark gritted his teeth, his three eyes blazing with cold determination as he pushed forward with increasing force. Slowly, the axe began to move back.

Then pain flashed across his chest.

For a fraction of a second, his strength faltered.

Robuke’s eyes lit up with savage delight. Twisting his entire body, he poured every ounce of power into his weapon. The axe surged forward, cutting through Anark’s guard and striking across his hand and forehead before sending the Primordial hurtling into the distance.

Their clash reflected the state of the entire battlefield.

Despite their power and bravery, the forces of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe were being torn apart.

Before them, the power of the Root was overwhelming everything.
