The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2464: The Path of the Asura

Of course, stabilizing his condition and truly healing were very different matters, and his absence from the battlefield would inevitably raise suspicion.

After all, there was a limit to the influence the Power of Chaos could exert over the Blutlinie of the Dark Blood Kingdom. They were not his allies. At their core, they were observers, watching his every move with quiet caution.

Even if none of them had witnessed the battle directly, the tremor produced by the clash between the Scarlet King and Aerion had certainly reached them.

Yet Cain did not lose focus.

He had left Satan behind to maintain order, sure that the Royal Guard would keep the situation under control. Even if General Fausto and the others learned of Cain’s disappearance, he was confident that once his plan was complete, everything would fall back into place.

More and more vitality flowed from the Ocean of the Blood Sun into Cain’s body, steadily restoring his wounds. Royal Blutlinie possessed incredibly powerful bodies and wielded innate strength that surpassed even that of the Primordial Race. However, the same uniqueness that made them formidable also made their injuries exceptionally difficult to heal.

There was not a single recorded case of a Royal Blutlinie dying of old age, and very few fell in a single battle. What claimed them was the accumulated damage of a lifetime of endless bloodshed, the countless scars that slowly eroded their strength over centuries.

Cain had no intention of sharing that fate.

That was why he devoted himself completely to the healing process, carefully restoring every torn muscle, every fractured bone, every microscopic wound that could one day become a weakness.

Two days later, Cain released a long breath. A wide smile appeared on his face as he felt strength coursing through his body once more.

He was not fully healed yet, but he had recovered enough to unleash the full might of his body and soul.

And that would prove extremely useful for the next part of his plan.

The Dark Blood Ring flickered, its glow signaling multiple attempts to contact him. Cain ignored it without hesitation. His priorities were clear.

With a thought, Aerion’s restrained figure appeared before him.

Even now, the Quietus Force flowed through the Royal Blutlinie of the Soul Eternal Realm, locking his existence in a fragile state between activity and stillness.

Cain’s eyes glowed with the cold hunger of a predator staring at its prey. He pushed his mind and soul to their absolute limits, channeling the Power of Chaos alongside the Flow as he pierced directly into Aerion’s consciousness.

His first objective was clear.

The Scarlet King needed the knowledge and cosmic principles behind the Fourth Realm Asura Form.

At present, Cain’s Royal Blutlinie body existed in a constant state of Asura Form. His heart beat with explosive force, each pulse capable of shaking his entire being. But what Aerion had was the next level.

With access to Aerion’s memories, he could elevate the technique further.

He could refine Asura Form until it stood alongside his other supreme innate abilities—the Flow, the Power of Chaos, and the Scarlet Throne.

Of course, invading an enemy’s soul so deeply was bound to leave permanent damage. But that outcome suited Cain perfectly. For the next stage of his plan, Aerion’s soul needed to be weakened, fractured, and vulnerable.

Cain focused every fragment of his will on the memories connected to the Fourth Realm. He tore through layers of defenses, instincts, and subconscious resistance.

After a long and painstaking search, he found it.

The Scarlet King’s eyes widened as a surge of thrill and enlightenment appeared on his face.

”The Path of the Asura.”

His voice echoed softly, filled with awe as he spoke the name given by the Eternal Soul Kingdom to the technique that contained the principles of the Fourth Realm Asura Form.

Through Aerion’s memories, Cain saw the original source.

The technique was recorded on a fragment of parchment made from the skin of unknown beasts. It radiated a terrifying aura, ancient and oppressive. The surface was torn, riddled with holes and cracks, as if it had survived countless calamities.

”Bow before our holy technique.”

The voice of Shakra echoed within the memory.

Aerion immediately knelt, his posture filled with reverence as he lowered his head before the relic.

”This treasure was brought back by the first ruler of the Eternal Soul Kingdom from the Ancestor Tomb. He lost every companion who entered the tomb with him—friends, family, all of them. But the sacrifice was worth it. Because of this technique, we rose above all others and became the strongest force in the realm. We even reshaped the realm itself to reflect our supremacy.”

Shakra’s voice carried immense pride. After a moment, he nodded and allowed Aerion to rise.

”You have helped secure several fragments of the Sacred Treasure and will soon march into the Dark Blood Realm. Your loyalty and achievements grant you the right to study this technique.”

Aerion’s eyes shone with excitement. He bowed deeply before stepping forward, focusing on the parchment and engraving every symbol, principle, and insight into his mind.

And through soul manipulation, Cain was doing exactly the same.

Every fragment of knowledge, every hidden meaning, every layer of understanding was extracted and carved into Cain’s consciousness.

The strain on Aerion’s soul grew heavier with each passing moment. Cracks began to spread across its structure, its stability trembling under the pressure.

Yet the Quietus Force held everything in place, freezing the damage before it could reach the point of collapse.

Finally, Cain completed the transfer.

His eyes shimmered with awe and anticipation.

The knowledge was vast and complex. It would take time to fully decipher and integrate the deeper principles, but the foundation now belonged to him.

The Path of the Asura was his.

After confirming that Aerion’s soul had endured the process, Cain paused. His gaze sharpened as he considered the next step.

There was still much more he could take.

The structure of the Soul Eternal Realm. Its power systems. Its hidden hierarchies. The location and fate of the remaining fragments of the Sacred Treasures.

All of that information was valuable.

But it was also simple—mere data that could be extracted without much effort.

What truly drew Cain’s attention was something else.

Something deeper.

Something hidden within the core of Aerion’s existence.

Something... unique.
