The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2375: The second entity that crossed from the Emptiness

”Gate of Babylon!”

Cain did not waste the opportunity. His roar tore through the battlefield as he unleashed his strongest authority. Above the shattered surface of the World of the Root, countless Chaos Weapons manifested at once, forming a storm of annihilation. Each weapon carried not only Cain’s will, but the combined power, rage, and determination of every warrior fighting at his side.

The weapons descended like divine judgment.

Robuke roared in fury as he pushed his monstrous body beyond its absolute limits. His axes spun and cleaved through the air, shattering more than eighty percent of the incoming Chaos Weapons. Each clash sent shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.

Yet even that was not enough.

The remaining twenty percent crashed directly into the landmass.

”RUMBLE!”

Every eye widened.

The entire First Layer of the World of the Root began to tremble violently. Cracks spread like veins across its surface, glowing with destructive energy. The damage to the foundation had reached a critical point. The world itself groaned, no longer able to maintain stability.

It was collapsing.

”Use everything you have!” Cain roared.

His voice echoed directly into the minds of every warrior of the Nine Empyren Suns Alliance, igniting their souls. ”Attack with all your power!”

The command shattered restraint.

Warriors burned through their remaining strength without hesitation. Chaos Weapons fell with even greater ferocity as Cain poured everything he had left into sustaining the Gate of Babylon. This was a rare opportunity—damage to a layer could be healed over time, but once a layer collapsed, it could never be restored.

That was the true objective.

Anark’s Primordial Force of the Void raged like a violet hurricane. He drove Radagon down onto the surface and struck relentlessly, each blow swallowing entire regions in violet annihilation. Space itself twisted and screamed under the pressure.

Leonidas, Bael, and Amon unleashed everything they had.

Their vessels cracked and ruptured as they forced the High Lords of the Root into the collapsing landmass. Flesh tore, bones shattered, and entire limbs were obliterated—but none of them hesitated. Reforging their bodies would be expensive and time-consuming, but if it meant erasing more than ten percent of the enemy’s world from existence, the price was insignificant.

Scarlet light burned fiercely in the eyes of the warriors of the Six Sacred Races.

Their Sacred Organs ignited as they pushed themselves past previous limits, unleashing attacks of unprecedented destructive power. The battlefield became a storm of fire, chaos, void, and divine force.

Then—

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!”

The explosion echoed in every direction.

The surface of the World of the Root shattered completely.

The damage had surpassed all thresholds. The First Layer could no longer endure the strain. Entire continents disintegrated as the surface began to collapse inward, tearing itself apart from the inside.

Cain’s eyes glowed with a sense of triumph and exhilaration he had not felt in a very long time.

This was a massive step forward.

”One down. Eight to go.”

The Scarlet King’s killing intent surged violently as the words left his lips.

Then—

His eyes widened.

A chilling sense of danger washed over him.

”Retreat!”

The forces of the Nine Empyren Suns Alliance were intoxicated by momentum. Many wanted to continue fighting—there was still time before the hole in the Wall of Fire and Flesh closed.

But the command of the Scarlet King was absolute.

Instinct took over.

The warriors withdrew immediately.

Still—

They were not fast enough.

From the deepest layers of the World of the Root, gigantic malformed dragons surged upward. Their bodies were forged of lightning plasma, warped and corrupted, radiating hunger and destruction. They rose toward the surface with terrifying speed, their presence alone causing even veteran warriors to tremble.

Cain felt the danger instantly.

But Robuke was already upon him.

”If a prolonged battle starts,” Cain realized coldly, ”I’ll be locked.”

The thought had barely formed when his resolve hardened.

”ARGHHH!”

Cain released a thunderous roar and detonated the Gate of Babylon outward. Chaos Weapons erupted in all directions, tearing Robuke apart and blasting the Monster of the Root into the distance in a violent explosion.

The blast consumed Cain as well.

In the next heartbeat, a figure emerged from the inferno.

Cain’s muscles and skin had been completely erased. Only his skeleton and Sacred Organs remained—yet purple flames erupted instantly, reconstructing his body at terrifying speed.

He flashed forward.

The Zero-State Spear manifested in his hands, blazing as it channeled multiple forces at once: Anark’s Primordial Void, Leonidas’ Sunfire, Amon’s Death, and Bael’s Life.

The muscles of the Scarlet King bulged as he swung the spear.

A massive arc of annihilating power surged forward, crashing directly into the plasma Root Dragons.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!”

The explosion was catastrophic.

Cain was blasted skyward, coughing mouthfuls of blood as large portions of his body were obliterated yet again. Pain ripped through him—but the attack was not futile.

The plasma Root Dragons were forced back.

That single moment was enough.

The remaining forces of the Alliance escaped into the void.

Cain stabilized himself in the sky above the collapsing First Layer. His expression darkened as he realized something was wrong.

His body was no longer healing.

His energy reserves had been drained to a critical level. Even the Samsara Immortal Body could no longer regenerate him.

He stared coldly at the plasma dragons as they resumed their ascent.

”So this,” Cain muttered grimly, ”is the power of the second entity that crossed from the Emptiness.”

Countless calculations raced through his mind.

Then he retreated into the void.

The hole in the Wall of Fire and Flesh had not yet closed, allowing everyone to witness what followed. The Root Dragons devoured the shattered remnants of the First Layer, consuming entire fragments before descending deeper into the world.

The speed.

The power.

The hunger.

It sent chills through the hearts of every warrior watching.

Had they not retreated—

They would have been the ones consumed.

Even more terrifying was the realization that with every fragment they devoured, the creatures grew stronger.
