The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2353: Ego Above Reality

With his ego and personality spread throughout the new dimension, Cain’s mind and soul could no longer function normally. His consciousness fractured under the strain, and darkness claimed him.

Luckily, this was not a permanent state. The moment the dimension reached completion, all of its power began to regress inward. The radiant energy that had spread across the floating city and the skies above it vanished, folding back upon itself as everything became deeply connected within the newly forged dimension.

Once every iota of power was concentrated in a single place, the sky, towers, ground, and weapons that formed the dimension began to release their accumulated energy. All of it converged toward the center.

Slowly, a scarlet cocoon began to form. The power within it no longer consisted solely of Leviathan’s essence—it now carried the power of the universe itself, the Power of Chaos, and the authority of the Scarlet Throne.

Second by second, the cocoon grew stronger. Yet it did not grow gigantic. Just like the essence of this new dimension, it was no longer about size, but about purity and depth. When the scarlet cocoon reached its zenith, cracks began to spread across its surface. Then, under a tremendous release of power, it shattered completely.

A surge of scarlet radiance flooded the dimension, making it even more majestic and overwhelming. Countless runes appeared across the sky, the towers, the ground, and the embedded weapons, each rune pulsing with profound meaning and authority.

At that moment, Cain’s eyes regained their light. The feeling of power momentarily blinded him, but soon his focus returned.

Cain’s gaze stood upon the being at the center of the new dimension. What he saw made his soul tremble. A massive flaming scarlet snake hovered in the air, biting its own tail and forming a flawless symbol of eternity, infinity, and the cyclical nature of existence—where endings inevitably lead back to beginnings.

Yet the Scarlet King felt something deeper embedded within that symbol. Beyond eternity, it carried the essence of self-renewal, rebirth, and endless transformation. A force of continuous evolution resonated through his very being.

And that was only the beginning.

At the center of the snake stood an even more majestic entity. It was a humanoid, dragon-like warrior clad in angular scarlet-and-gold armor. Organic and armored elements fused seamlessly into its form, giving it the appearance of a living battle construct. Massive scarlet wings erupted from its back, blazing with gradients of ember and flame.

Leviathan was no longer a world-sized entity. Yet its power was far greater than before—purer, denser, and perfectly resonant with every aspect of Cain’s essence and chosen path.

Cain withdrew his mind from the dimension, a wide smile forming on his face as realization settled in.

He had succeeded.

He had broken into the next realm of the Ego Eternal Path of Power.

Extending his hand, Cain’s eyes glowed as he grasped the rules of reality itself using nothing but his will as a medium. Space-time trembled violently inside the chamber under the sheer pressure of his unleashed authority.

”This is the power of Ego Above Reality.”

Cain’s smile widened as he spoke the name of the realm that lay beyond Mind and Soul as One, a term drawn from the memories inherited from Legion.

The Scarlet King’s willpower, soul, and ego had already merged into a single unified existence. Thanks to this massive evolution, he could now alter the foundational rules and laws of the world around him through thought alone.

As for the name of the new dimension, Cain had already chosen it.

Lucid Dream.

A dimension forged from his mind, yet carrying the essence of reality itself—a place where his will was absolute.

The birth of the Lucid Dream and the ascension of his Ego Eternal Path to Ego Above Reality triggered a massive surge in cultivation power. And the good news did not stop there.

The explosive growth of his soul and will strengthened Cain’s connection with the world itself, allowing him to take the next step on another path. The Stars of Origin above his forehead glowed brighter and brighter, until finally a new one began to manifest.

The Scarlet King’s body surged with an amazing power as an ocean of World Strength began to surge into his existence.

After an incredibly long time, he had finally awakened the Fourth Star of Origin, reaching the ArchDeity Rank in his Primordial Path.

Although this increase was not as overwhelming as the evolution of his Ego Eternal Path, the Scarlet King still displayed a radiant smile. Improving the cultivation of his body brought countless benefits. Most importantly, it weakened the blockages that had previously prevented him from advancing in his body-refinement techniques—something he would unquestionably need for the dangers that awaited him in the future.

”System, scan me!”

The Scarlet King could not contain his thrill and excitement. He immediately commanded the Absolute Life Form System to perform a thorough scan of his body, soul, and mind. Instantly, the cold, robotic voice of the system echoed within him, and a virtual screen materialized before his eyes.
