The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2365: The Immortal Knight arrives in the Everstrife Empyrean World

Cain stood once more before the Wall of Fire and Flesh.

Behind him gathered the combined forces of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance, their presence filling the void with layered auras of power and resolve. This time, two additional Empyrean Worlds were present.

At the very front stood Markin and Kaizer.

The expressions on their faces were solemn as they stared at the horror before them. This was their first time facing the World of the Root directly, and the sight was enough to chill even beings of their stature. The void around the Wall of Fire and Flesh itself seemed hostile, saturated with malice and hunger.

It was terrifying.

Cain glanced briefly at the duo and shook his head faintly.

The World of the Root was indeed horrifying—but after facing it time and time again, he and the members of the alliance had grown accustomed to its grotesque nature. Whether that familiarity was a blessing or a curse was hard to say, but it made action far easier.

Without wasting time, Cain raised his hand.

The Power of Chaos surged.

The All-Devouring Eye manifested above him, its scarlet iris spinning as it locked onto the Wall of Fire and Flesh. Vast chunks of the barrier were consumed before the Eye released a massive cannon of condensed annihilation.

The beam tore forward, piercing a hole straight through the Wall.

Unlike their previous incursion, what greeted them was not an empty, exposed surface.

They were expected.

Robuke stood at the forefront, his monstrous form radiating violence and bloodlust. Beside him loomed Radagon and several other powerful entities of the Root, their killing intent so dense it distorted space itself.

Cain inhaled deeply.

His eyes turned glacial.

The Wings of Chaos erupted from his back as he summoned a Zero-State Spear, its form growing stronger after he infused it with both life force and soul force.

”Go.”

With that single word, Cain dove straight into the World of the Root.

He ensured Markin and Kaizer were forced to advance first, positioning them ahead of him as they crossed through the breach. There was no chance he would allow those two to stand behind him.

”KILL!”

Robuke’s roar shook the world.

In an instant, the surface of the World of the Root transformed into a battlefield of apocalyptic scale. That was exactly what the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance wanted.

Their goal was not conquest—it was devastation.

Even if directly attacking the world’s surface was difficult amid such chaos, the collateral damage alone was catastrophic. Every clash sent shockwaves through the land, tearing at the Root’s life force and psychic foundation.

Cain met Robuke head-on.

Axe and spear collided again and again, each impact sundering the skies above them. Massive gulfs of void opened with every exchange—zones of absolute nothingness capable of devouring even Prima Deities as if they were insects.

Robuke’s ferocity never waned.

He fought without restraint, without fear, without regard for his own existence. He was destruction incarnate, a creature that understood only annihilation. Every clash with him pushed Cain further, forcing him to respond with equal brutality.

The battle escalated.

The surface of the World of the Root cracked and burned, its flesh-like terrain collapsing under the sustained assault. Cain wished they could continue fighting for days, reducing everything to ash—but reality denied him that luxury.

The hole in the Wall of Fire and Flesh was already beginning to close.

”Retreat.”

The command rang out clearly.

Immediately, the forces of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance disengaged, withdrawing in disciplined waves and escaping back into the void just as the breach sealed itself behind them.

Exhaustion was evident on every warrior’s face.

Yet so were smiles.

They had done significant damage. The devastation from their previous incursion was still visible, and now it had been expanded even further. The World of the Root had been wounded again—small injuries, perhaps, but wounds that would spread.

Given time, they would reach its heart.

Cain turned to Cipher, Amara, Zephirax, Arkam, and Uriel, offering them a wide smile as he nodded. Scarlet light flashed through their eyes, their hearts swelling with exhilaration and renewed determination.

Then Cain turned toward the forces of the Eternitysoul Empyrean World and the Endlessnight Empyrean World.

He offered them a solemn nod.

They had fought well. Their presence had allowed the destruction to spread far wider than before. Cain could sense that they had held back, prioritizing their own safety rather than burning their life force recklessly—but that had been expected.

”Let us rest,” Cain said calmly. ”The sooner we recover, the sooner we continue burning their world.”

The warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance nodded as they dispersed, each returning to their respective worlds.

Cain returned to the Everstrife Empyrean World.

Standing alone before his throne, he raised his hand. A small red orb materialized, swirling with an ocean of blood and vitality. Using the Power of Chaos, Cain had silently collected every drop of blood and life force spilled across the battlefield, weaving them together into a single mass.

The reason was simple.

He intended to refine the Doomsday Art.

Now that he had become an ArchDeity Primordial, he had a genuine chance of reaching the final level of the Doomsday Star. Instinct told him he would need that power soon.

In his other hand, a Revolution Flame ignited, burning with defiant brilliance.

These were the two aspects he would focus on—powers that would strengthen him, grant him decisive trump cards, and elevate his people alongside him.

Without hesitation, Cain began to train.

Years passed.

He led his forces, launched repeated incursions into the World of the Root, and cultivated his power relentlessly. It was a repeating cycle of battle and growth, but one that yielded steady progress on every front.

Yet Cain was not the only one advancing his plans.

A new figure arrived silently in the Everstrife Empyrean World.

He was a bald old man with a long beard and a muscular frame, his presence subtle yet suffocating.

The Immortal Knight of the Tenth Empyrean World had arrived.
