The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2085: Tiramisu, the Great Berserker

The need for secrecy was undeniable—but not so desperate that Cain would slaughter warriors from the Life Path. Thanks to the power of the Imperium Dream, he possessed subtler means. Through the Oniric Truth of Viral Will, he could rewrite memory itself.

One by one, the survivors’ minds yielded to his influence.

The Prime Deities fell quickly, their thoughts folding beneath the tide of his will. The ArchDeity, however, resisted for a moment longer; his mind was strong. But his body was broken, his spirit exhausted. Soon enough, he, too, succumbed, and Cain reshaped his memories as easily as bending light.

When it was done, the warriors would awaken with only fractured recollections—believing their victory had been won through divine intervention, but never recalling the faces of those who had saved them. Confusion might assault them from time to time, but given that Cain saved their life, it was a good trade.

The trio rose silently into the sky and vanished beyond the burning clouds.

Now, Cain took the lead. His eyes glowed with flickers of gold and crimson as he absorbed the memories of the metallic ArchDeity whom Meylin had consigned to the Scarlet Throne. Fragments of knowledge—maps, battlefields, the hierarchies of the Third Realm—flowed through his mind in radiant flashes.

Behind him, the Enlightened One and Meylin followed closely, curiosity burning in their gazes.

They had glimpsed the terrifying power of the Neo-Angels back in the Second Realm. They had seen Urin—her incandescent halo, her apocalyptic flame, her domination. Now they sought to understand what awaited them here.

Cain’s expression grew distant as he analyzed what he had seen in the stolen memories. Then, slowly, he spoke.

”The Alpha-Omega Overgod commanding the Freedom Path in this realm—Bradly—has already revealed his power as a Neo-Angel.”

A somber stillness fell over the other two. But before their concern could take root, a faint smile tugged at the corners of Cain’s mouth.

”However,” he continued, ”Bradly has already clashed with the True Depravita who leads the Life Path here. Their battle shook entire continents. In the end, Bradly was forced to retreat. Though the True Depravita suffered grave wounds, her victory was absolute.”

Meylin’s eyes widened. Even the Enlightened One’s calm expression cracked with surprise.

”What is her name?” Meylin asked, her tone tinged with awe.

”And what is she like?” added the Enlightened One.

Cain’s eyes shimmered faintly as he sorted through the fading memories.

”Her name is Tiramisu, known as the Great Berserker,” he said at last. ”As for her appearance... even I cannot tell. She’s secretive—rarely seen in her true form. When she travels across the landmass, she cloaks herself in her Depravita Fog, an aura so thick and ancient that few can even perceive her presence. But the ArchDeity I consumed knew where her headquarters lie.”

Relief and excitement flashed across Meylin’s face, and even the Enlightened One allowed a small smile.

At last, they had a destination.

”We must remain cautious,” Cain added. ”Though Tiramisu is stronger than Bradly, the Freedom Path still holds the advantage among the ArchDeities. They control nearly two-thirds of the Third Realm’s landmass.”

The news was sobering, but not discouraging.

Cain and his allies knew their worth. They did not underestimate the danger, yet they were confident. As long as they stayed vigilant—and if needed, retreated swiftly—they could survive even the deadliest encounters.

Drawing upon the stolen memories of the metallic ArchDeity, Cain guided them along routes where the conflict was least intense. They avoided the skies where Freedom Path patrols hunted and crossed wastelands where the earth itself bled with divine energy. They traveled beneath the shadow of broken fortresses and through the ruins of forgotten pantheons, unseen and untouched.

Two and a half months passed before they finally reached their destination.

The air grew still as they crossed into the Void Beyond the Realm. Floating in that void was a colossal black cube, large enough to contain entire cities within. It drifted weightlessly, radiating an ancient pulse that resonated with the rhythm of existence itself.

The moment the trio approached, waves of scanning energy surged outward from the cube, washing over them like the gaze of a thousand unseen eyes.

They froze midair.

No one here knew of their arrival, and any misstep could brand them as intruders. They let the scans flow over them without resistance.

Then, recognition struck.

The scan brushed across Meylin’s aura, sensing the unmistakable signature of the True Depravita inheritance. The oppressive pressure receded. A moment later, a figure emerged from the cube.

He was magnificent.

A towering being that resembled an ancient deity of nature, his body was composed of bark, stone, and glowing crystal. Vines wove through his antlered crown, and his emerald eyes radiated calm power. His armor-like skin fused elegance with primal force, emanating the aura of an eternal guardian who stood between life and decay.

The trio instantly recognized his nature—he was a True Depravita, though his strength remained just within the bounds of the ArchDeity rank.

”I am Ikmael, Second in Command of the Life Path Forces in the Third Realm,” the being said, his deep voice resonating like thunder through the void. ”It is an honor to meet you, Meylin and Cain. The Demon King has spoken much of your deeds.”

Cain and Meylin clasped their hands and bowed respectfully.

Ikmael inclined his head slightly.

”My master, the True Depravita of Primal Fury, awaits you.”

Then his crystalline gaze turned toward the Enlightened One.

”Your companion may join as well.”

The trio exchanged quick smiles. A meeting with Tiramisu—the Great Berserker herself—was great news.

They followed Ikmael into the cube.

The interior of the Heart of Sin was immense. Thousands of Life Path strategists hovered before crystal screens, directing billions of troops across the Third Realm. Rivers of divine data flowed through transparent conduits, linking every floor like veins of light.

As they ascended to the highest level, the air itself grew dense with primal energy.

And there—at the chamber’s center—stood Tiramisu, the Great Berserker.

She was... small.

Barely thirty centimeters tall, she appeared as a hybrid between a rodent and a dragon. Her body was cloaked in soft, dark fur—shades of charcoal and midnight—contrasting with the crystalline red scales that covered her back, tail, and forearms. Those scales shimmered like molten gemstones, each one pulsing with a fiery inner light that hinted at boundless energy within.

The trio froze, exchanging stunned glances before turning their eyes back to her.

She was adorable—so endearingly small and radiant that it stirred an almost instinctive affection. And yet this tiny being, this deceptively gentle creature, was the one who had defeated a Neo-Angel in open combat.
