The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2054: Back to the Crimson World

As soon as the words ”Tenth Empyrean World” left Cain’s mouth, the eyes of the Primordial burned. Coldness and killing intent flared like a storm inside Anark’s gaze, vast enough to shake the room. He drew in a long, steady breath, adjusting heart and mind before speaking.

”I have no knowledge of that place,” he admitted, voice deep, ancient, heavy. ”Only a feeling. And that feeling tells me one truth—that I hate them, and that they hate us.”

Cain clenched his fists. He had longed to wrest some hidden fragment of knowledge from Anark’s ancient memory, some clue about the nature of the Tenth Empyrean World. Anything would have been useful since what he had pulled from Azazel’s essence had been practically useless.

The True Depravita of Sloth had left behind memories forged within the Everstrife Empyrean World, experiences of power, and knowledge of techniques. But every trace of his time in the Tenth World had been erased.

A red field cloaked all of it, and when Cain attempted to assimilate them, the memories collapsed and self-destructed. It was more than a seal. It was an active defense. Whoever ruled over the Tenth Empyrean World was not only powerful but also extremely cautious, concealing even the most basic truths.

Cain exhaled slowly. It seemed that learning anything about the Tenth World would be far more difficult than he imagined. Yet even as frustration threatened to consume him, his eyes burned with scarlet flame. His will did not falter. He had already faced their influence twice—once in the World Forge, and once here, in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. Both times, he had not only survived but emerged stronger.

”I would appreciate it if you remained here,” Cain finally said, his tone resolute. ”Stay in the Everstrife Empyrean World until I return from the Crimson World.”

Anark gave a single, solemn nod. ”I will.”

That was enough. The two brothers-in-arms exchanged one last glance before the Primordial departed, leaving Cain alone in the chamber.

---

Cain let silence settle around him, sharpening his thoughts. With a steady breath, he delved into the memories he had taken from Legion’s main consciousness. These were different from the fragments he had absorbed before. They were clearer, sharper, unclouded.

In terms of experiences, there was little—Legion had spent his entire existence within the Coffin of Life and Death, chained and bound, so Cain had learned nothing about the First Era. Yet what he did obtain was far more valuable.

Within those memories were techniques—countless techniques used by the cultivators who had purged their darker emotions through the Coffin. And some reached the Alpha–Omega Overgod tier!

There were even complete cultivation methods, each designed to carry mortals to realms that transcended gods.

Of course, the knowledge was fragmented, riddled with gaps and flaws. But Cain smiled. Such flaws were nothing before the [A.I. Chip Module]. Already, he had set it to work. By the time he returned from the Crimson World, those techniques would be fully repaired and ready for use.

Everything was in place. Cain was prepared to transport his will into the Crimson World. But before vanishing for years, there was one final group he needed to see.

---

Minutes later, Cain walked side by side with Astrid, Shura, Rylanor, and Magnus, leaving the Scarlet Crown.

He had spent nearly every waking moment of the past years in warfare—fighting, conquering, recruiting, scheming. But rarely had he fulfilled his role as husband and father. He would not vanish into seclusion without first mending that neglect.

Though still badly wounded, Cain poured what remained of his strength into the effort. He took his family to the most majestic and dangerous places in the Everstrife Empyrean World: vast oceans of fire, mountains of crystal light, forests grown from dreamstuff.

Along the way, he guided Magnus through the mysteries of The Flow, taught Rylanor the first keys to awakening his Star of Origin, shared with Astrid his new insights into Tribulation Enhancement, and entrusted Shura with Legion’s knowledge of Rune Crafting.

For an entire month, they traveled as family. No war councils. No thrones. No armies. Just parents and children sharing laughter beneath alien skies. For Cain, it was a rare reprieve, a fleeting taste of bliss. And because he knew such moments grew rarer the stronger he became, he cherished every heartbeat.

But as with all joys, the end came too soon. At last, they returned to the sacred heights above the Scarlet Crown.

---

”System. Scan me.”

Cain’s voice rang with command. Before he departed into the Crimson World, he wanted clarity—a precise measure of his current strength.

A hum vibrated through his body as the Absolute Life Form System activated. Energy rushed through his veins, probing his flesh, soul, and will. Then the cold, mechanical voice echoed in his mind.

Cain’s lips curved into a wide, satisfied smile. His Astral Rebirth and Essence Evolution paths were approaching the Late Prima Deity rank. His Ego Wave had surged to an unbelievable level, strengthened further by reaching Middle Mind and Soul as One.

His Proto-Laws were perfected. With Legion’s insights, he had achieved 100% comprehension of Life and Death, allowing him to freely cultivate the Eclipse Monolith Inheritance. His foundation was terrifyingly solid.

The news brought peace.

Vitality coursed through him, a gift of Ao’s consciousness. Psychic force surged from the Scarlet Throne into his mind and soul. Cain transmitted a sequence of commands to the [A.I. Chip Module], granting it authority to regulate his energy and cultivation through the coming years of slumber.

Finally, he closed his eyes.

The next moment, the Primarch of Conquest, Leviathan, trembled. The Scarlet King’s True Name vanished from the Nine Empyrean Sun Universe.
