The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2072: A third master of The Flow

The Scarlet Sun blazed brighter and brighter, its light a torrent of living fire. Finally, with a thunderous pulse, it released two radiant beams.

The first beam lanced into Meylin’s Black Hole, piercing directly into her core, where it fused with her True Name. The second burst forward, cutting through matter, space, and time, until it locked into Cain’s own True Name.

In that instant, the primordial essence of Neo-Demon and True Depravita connected at a quantum level. Their souls overlapped, their bodies resonated, and their spirits intertwined in a bond that transcended time and space. It was beyond language, beyond ritual. It was the Imperium Dream, manifest through the Symbiotic Ascendancy Oniric Truth.

”BOOM—BOOM!”

Twin bursts echoed across the sky, one radiating from Meylin, the other from Cain.

From Meylin’s body erupted an ocean of vitality and life force, streaming endlessly from the Scarlet Throne. From Cain, a sea of Depravita Aura gushed forth, dark and intoxicating, flooding through his flesh and blood, reaching into his soul force.

Yet this was only the beginning.

Meylin’s body began to tremble. Scales of obsidian-black, etched with glowing crimson veins, spread across her hands, legs, neck, chest, and even part of her face. Each scale was infused with the destructive essence of the Absolute Destruction Doomsday Body, enhancing her strength, sharpening her senses, and making her flesh harder than an ArchDeity’s armor. She had been physically powerful before—but now her very body had become a fortress of ruin.

Cain, meanwhile, felt something equally profound. The Depravita Aura no longer flowed over him. It fused into him, just as it did within Meylin’s constitution. His flesh drank it in, his muscles absorbed it, and even his bones pulsed with its dark vitality. His regenerative abilities surged to new heights—not as overwhelming as Meylin’s True Depravita’s immortal body, but still extraordinary. Wounds that would cripple most ArchDeities would barely slow him now.

But Cain’s case did not stop there.

The Imperium Dream always adapted, always pushed its host to the strongest possible version of themselves whenever new power emerged. Now, with Depravita energy fully merging into his being, his body erupted with transformation.

His muscles bulged, cords of strength rippling beneath his skin. The blackened bio-armor that covered him glowed like volcanic rock, fissures spreading across it as molten crimson light pulsed from within. The plates grew thicker, sharper, harder—armor designed not just to protect but to wound.

His wings morphed violently, bone and flesh twisting into colossal weapons of crimson Depravita fire. They were not feathered, nor smooth; instead, they blazed like jagged lightning, tearing the void with every beat. They were wings, yes—but more than that, they were instruments of war, forged from destruction itself.

By the time the metamorphosis ended, Cain stood as a towering warlord, his body blazing with annihilation. At the center of his chest, embedded like a living star, glowed a scarlet core of destructive plasma, where Neo-Demon Aura and Depravita Aura flowed together. Every movement crackled with red lightning, every breath tore faint scars into the fabric of reality.

Meylin’s eyes widened as she watched his evolution. A smile spread across her lips, pride and awe mingling in her expression. But then a sudden burning sensation flared in her own eyes. She staggered for a moment, clutching her face—before the pain vanished, replaced by a blinding radiance.

Her pupils ignited with golden light.

Her breath caught in her throat. Around her, the world transformed. The battlefield, the sky, the distant realms—everything became clear, revealed as endless rivers of cosmic energy flowing in perfect harmony. Every current, every frequency, every pattern danced before her like music.

This was not an illusion. This was The Flow.

There were no secrets between Cain and Meylin; she already knew of The Flow, the legendary power Cain had pursued. She had admired it, coveted it, but she also understood its barrier. To truly teach it, Cain would need to reach the highest levels, far beyond where he now stood. Even the Enlightened One’s teachings had proven incompatible with her nature.

But now, because their souls and True Names were bound through the Scarlet Sun, Meylin had gained access to it.

Her heart raced as she focused her mind, channeling her immense psychic power to probe this newfound current. In seconds, she began to comprehend its scope.

”I can see it...” she whispered, voice trembling with awe. ”I can see the rhythm and pattern of every life form—their physical movements before they happen, their spells before they manifest. I can tune myself to their frequencies, disrupt them, and with a single wave, divert their attacks.”

She clenched her fists, trembling. ”But... I cannot yet channel the full current. I cannot become a true conduit. I cannot use Redirection.”

Her face darkened briefly. She knew the power of Redirection. The Enlightened One had used it to annihilate five ArchDeities. Cain had blown apart the head of a Late ArchDeity with a single strike of it. To wield such force would have been beyond her dreams. Not having it yet was a disappointment—but only briefly.

Because she had already discovered something even more valuable.

Her eyes widened further, the golden light shimmering as she pushed The Flow inward, turning its perception onto herself.

”I can see... emotions,” she whispered, her voice low and reverent. ”The full spectrum of another’s emotions, flawless and exact... and my own.”

She shuddered as realization consumed her.

For a True Depravita, emotion was everything. Emotion was the foundation of their existence, the root of their strength, the core of their cultivation path. To see emotions this clearly—to map them with absolute precision, to know the enemy’s every flicker of fear, rage, or despair—was to hold the keys to their soul.

She could corrupt them, control them, destroy them from the inside out.

But even more importantly, she could now perceive her own emotions with absolute objectivity. No distortion, no bias, no weakness. This clarity meant her path as a Depravita was now sharpened to its purest edge. Her cultivation would accelerate, her power would grow, and her control would become unbreakable.

Her lips curled into a wide, trembling smile, her eyes glowing with awe and hunger.
