The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2079: The fourth Supreme Race (II)

Although Zarazel’s declaration sounded arrogant, no one could deny the truth behind it. Unlike the false boasts of superiority whispered by xenophobes in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, the supremacy of the True Depravita, the Primordials, and the Neo-Demons was not a matter of ego. It was a fact written into the foundations of creation itself.

These races stood above all others, born with the ability to unlock cosmic truths that no other beings could ever reach. Their bodies and souls were conduits of the highest laws. When they ascended, entire worlds trembled beneath their might.

Yet, instead of frustration or indignation, Urin began to smile. Slowly, she nodded.

”You are right,” she said, her voice calm and resonant. ”The Supreme Races do stand stronger than all others.”

Her words sent ripples of confusion through the watching ArchDeities. Even Zarazel’s expression faltered for an instant. But before any could speak, Urin continued.

”However, True Depravita, Primordials, and even..” Her eyes gleamed, and she turned her gaze toward Cain, ”Neo-Demons—you are all relics of an ancient story.”

Her smile widened, sharp as the edge of a blade. Then, from deep within her chest, a light began to bloom.

It started as a faint shimmer beneath her armor, a pulse of radiance within her chest. Then, with every beat, it grew brighter and brighter until it pierced through flesh and steel alike, revealing a glowing orb embedded within her very heart.

The aura it exuded was immense—so overwhelming that both armies fell silent. Even Zarazel and the ArchDeities instinctively stepped back, frowning as they felt the raw, unbridled power emanating from that light.

But none were as shaken as Cain.

His eyes widened, his expression freezing in utter disbelief.

That orb—its runic sigils, its rotating energy pathways—he knew them. Their structure, their rhythm, the way they spiraled and condensed cosmic energy—it was identical to the formation of a Neo-Demon Core.

Their energies differed in nature, but their principles were the same.

”How can that be...?” Cain whispered under his breath.

As if in answer, Urin’s voice thundered across the heavens.

”We are the future!”

Her words echoed with the force of prophecy.

The next instant, the orb within her chest erupted.

Reality itself began to tremble.

”RUMBLE!”

Cracks spread across the sky like shattered glass. The fabric of existence warped and folded, pieces of the firmament drawn toward her as if she were a black hole of creation.

”Power of the Universe—bend to my will!” Urin cried. ”Salvation Incarnation!”

And then the world exploded with light.

The universe around her broke apart into fragments of golden and crimson energy. Those shards did not vanish—they converged, fusing into Urin’s flesh, merging with her bones and soul. Every piece of reality that had broken was now part of her.

Her power rose exponentially, flooding the heavens.

Above her head, a blazing halo of fire formed, its flames shifting between orange and gold. From her upper back erupted wings of incandescent light—each feather inscribed with cosmic law. Around her brow, a crown of molten divinity materialized, bathing her in apocalyptic brilliance.

Runes of obsidian fire carved themselves into her skin, running across her chest, pulsing with impossible vitality. Her presence no longer felt mortal, nor divine—it was something new, something outside the known laws of existence.

And then something miraculous happened.

Those same runes crawled toward her limbs, reaching her disabled arms. When they touched the corrupted flesh, they burned away the lingering Power of Fear, restoring movement where Zarazel had stolen it.

Cain could only stare in awe.

”Unlike the Doomsday Incarnation,” he whispered, ”which releases the power hidden within the Neo-Demon Core... her Salvation Incarnation breaks the universe itself—and takes control of its pieces, fusing them into her being. The process is opposite... yet the foundation is the same.”

The realization sent a chill through him.

”What is she?”

That question rippled through the minds of every ArchDeity present.

And then Urin’s voice cut through the storm like a spear.

”Now, relic of the past,” she declared, her words carrying both challenge and promise, ”face the power of the future—face the might of the Neo-Angel Race!”

Her proclamation had barely faded before she vanished.

A streak of divine light tore through the sky—Urin, faster than thought, her wings propelling her forward like a comet. Zarazel’s eyes widened at her sudden acceleration, but his reflexes kicked in instantly. He raised his palm to meet hers.

Their strikes collided.

”BOOOOOOM!”

The impact split the heavens. Shockwaves rippled outward, tearing through space like tidal waves. Both were hurled backward, their energy trails scarring the sky.

Zarazel regained his balance first, his aura steady. Urin, though forced to roll through the air, quickly stabilized herself, her blazing wings spreading wide. The clash had revealed that Zarazel still held the advantage in raw physical power.

Urin’s palm trembled faintly. The Power of Fear had still managed to attach itself to her skin, but its effect was diminished. The runes of cosmic law were protecting her, weakening the corruption that tried to take root.

It would take many more strikes for Zarazel to disable her again, but it was still dangerous. However, the Neo-Angel only smiled.

Her gaze drifted down to Zarazel’s palm.

The True Depravita frowned, instinctively glancing at his own hand—just in time for realization to dawn, but it was too late.

”BOOOOOOOOM!”

A massive explosion erupted from his palm, engulfing his entire figure in flames that burned hotter than the suns of the Second Realm.

Zarazel roared as he was thrown backward, his right hand and part of the forearm obliterated in an instant. Face twisted in pain, but soon the ruined flesh to knit itself back together, regenerated by his Depravita Constitution. But Urin did not give him a chance to breathe.

Before the flames even faded, she was upon him again.

Her next strike shot toward his face, but Zarazel managed to block with his left forearm and retaliate with a swift kick to her ribs, sending her flying backward.

Even as she spun through the sky, Urin’s expression remained calm.

”BOOM!”

Zarazel’s left arm detonated this time, the explosion engulfing him once more in searing white fire. When he emerged, his forearm was shredded, the hand hanging by threads of scorched flesh. It began regenerating immediately, but the damage was undeniable.

He frowned, his instincts screaming a warning.

This was not the same as her earlier explosions. Before the explosion detonated upon the point of contact, but it felt like the blast came from himself.

Zarazel’s mind raced. Even after millions of years of battle experience, he had never faced something quite like it.
