Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 832: The Pioneer! Part-1.

Year 2112, Human Empire, Western Hills.

Standing atop a giant hill, Allen looked at the barren hilly land in front of him and spoke with a smile.

”This area is fine... the time is also about to arrive, and the ’opportunity’ is not far now...”

Seeing Allen mutter random things to himself, his teammates who were all present at the moment were not surprised at all.

They had already been travelling with Allen for decades now and have already become accustomed to Allen’s strange ability of predicting the future and going into a momentary daze every once in a while.

By now, almost the entire world believed that Allen was an ’Oracle’ who could see through the future and receive guidance from the heavens.

His reputation as the son of Heaven was already spreading to every corner of the world; even his own teammates believed in his foresight greatly.

”Yaawwnnn~ Man, I had to go to my kid’s school for a parent’s meet today... why did he summon us out of nowhere today?”

Seeing that Allen was busy talking to himself, Farim lightly nudged Ivan with his shoulder, almost causing Ivan to fall.

”Can you stop pushing me? With your physique you will blow me away if you use too much force! Furthermore, I don’t know what’s going on with him either; he just asked me to come here on short notice too...”

Farim shook his head at those words and glanced at Zain, who had already summoned a reclining chair made from bones and skulls to sit down and relax.

”You are even using bones as your chair now? Err... don’t tell me you use bones for your house’s interior design too...”

Hearing those words, Zain threw Farim a look of disdain.

”No way, my wife will beat the sh*t out of me if I place such eerie things in the house... Moreover, my youngest daughter doesn’t seem to be fond of this kind of furniture...”

”Sigh... kids are really difficult to handle... Just a few days ago, my second daughter’s teacher contacted me, saying that she had heard from my daughter that her father worked as a ’Human Bone Smuggler’!”

Farim could understand Zain’s pain, as his own daughter had once jokingly told her friends that Farim was actually a bodybuilding champion and his main line of work was showing off his muscles to everyone!

”Sigh, you two are so carefree. Allen only summons us so suddenly if something urgent has come up; you need to be more serious. You are no longer kids anymore!”

Bela shook her head in dismay as she felt that although these fellows had all grown up in physique, they were still behaving immaturely like teenagers!

”Hah! Unmarried and single people have no right to argue here! Especially a hundred-year-old granny who never managed to pull a single guy!”

Hearing Farim’s words, Bela’s face twitched, and a terrifying smile appeared on her face.

”Hoh? Sir Farim, it seems you have forgotten that your wife is my disciple, and if I complain to her, you will have to sleep on the floor tonight!”

Farim shrank back like a frightened cat after hearing those words and hid behind Ivan.

”Ahem! Cough! Cough! I-I was just joking, great holy maiden; please forgive my transgressions.”

”Sir Ivan, save me from that old hag!”

Although Farim tried to hide his mountain-like body behind Ivan, it was simply impossible, as Ivan was too thin and frail-looking.

*Rumble!* *Rumble!*

Just when the group was busy messing around, dark clouds appeared in the sky, and purplish bolts of thunder started to rumble.

The clear, sunny weather suddenly changed into cloudy, making everyone feel that something was amiss.

The group stopped messing around and stared at Allen with a serious look on their faces.

”This is... d-don’t tell me this is-”

As the most knowledgeable person in the group, Ivan was the first one to react to this sudden change in the heavens.

Looking at those purple bolts of thunder in the sky, he could already guess what Allen was trying to do.

”For almost a century, the S-rank has always been the limit of all awakeners and creatures in this world... Some say that the heavens do not allow people to go beyond this level...”

”Some say that there are no realms above rank S, and reaching rank S is the final destination of one’s ’Path’...”

Allen raised his head and looked towards the heavens with the usual gentle smile on his face before saying,

”Ever since the descent of mana in this world, the ’Laws’ and the very foundations of this ’universe’ have been evolving to a higher state...”

”As time passes, the ’laws’ become more and more complete and evolved... and once a particular threshold is achieved, the ’Path’ to a new realm can be opened...”

”The higher the evolved state of the ’world,’ the easier it would be for someone to ascend to a higher realm!”

Allen turned towards his compatriots and spoke with a smile,

”Today, I have gathered you all here to bear witness to my pursuit of a higher realm.”

”For years, we have all been stuck in the same realm, but today, the ’laws’ of the ’universe’ will finally be able to achieve a higher state, and the ’Path’ to a new level will open...”

”So, as the ’Chosen’ of the ’Heavens,’ I shall personally act as the pioneer for all beings and illuminate the ’Path’ ahead for everyone.”

Hearing Allen’s words, all of the members of the group were stunned speechless.

None of them had expected that Allen would gather them for such a major occasion today.

For almost a century, everyone had believed that rank S was the peak of all individual combat strength.

Anyone who tried to go beyond it would usually end up smitten to death by the heavenly thunder.

But today, against all odds, the chosen of heaven himself was about to ascend to a new realm!

With one person pioneering the ’Path’ ahead, they would all be able to benefit in the future and follow Allen to a new level!

In that moment, everyone understood that the world was about to change forever!
