[Item Description:

Legend has it that in ancient times, when a close friend was on the verge of death, the greatest healer in the world, Astra, created this divine artifact with a part of her own ’life force’ and ’soul’ to heal him.

Her great sacrifice of using her own life and gambling by putting her own life on the line made her achieve even higher success as a healer. This artifact is proof of her determination, resolve, and courage.

Her sacrifice brought forward a new hope for humanity, as the person she saved went on to be worshipped by the world as a ’King’ and saved countless lives, created the ’world alliance,’ united all races, and drove the demons close to extinction.

Astra achieved what others couldn’t; her ideals made the entire world bow in front of her greatness. Humans and other creatures alike, worshipped her as a caring mother and a goddess of love, care and protection.]

...

With such an overpowered artifact in hand, Riya was overflowing with power; hesitation and nervousness were nowhere to be seen on her face as she clenched her small, cute fists with determination.

Seeing her bet everything on this, Rio could not remain lazy either, and he decided to give his hundred percent in this matter.

Rio adjusted the length of his sword and made it turn into a surgeon’s scalpel, then proceeded to use all the buffs cast on him to improve his control.

With so many people and hopes piling on his shoulders, Rio could not afford to make a single mistake; thus, with a calm mind, he moved forward and carefully pierced Jin’s chest with the scalpel.

[Sword Intent: Precision Approach!]

[Sword Sage’s Enlightenment: Absolute Skill: Soul Seeker!]

Rio’s sword did not create any physical wounds; it did not cause any harm to Jin at all and by using sword intent to its extreme, Rio manipulated the soul and the mind, and penetrated his sword intent right into Jin’s ’Sea of consciousness.’

He created a precise balance between Jin’s soul fluctuations and his SS-rank automatic resistance to foreign influence and bypassed his soul’s outer defenses to ’open’ a path right to his soul and sea of consciousness.

Rio not only suppressed Jin’s soul fluctuations, but he also made sure to keep Jin’s sea of consciousness stable and firm.

If he used too much strength, his soul and sea of consciousness might shatter; if he used too little, then he would be pushed out by Jin’s unconscious resistance.

Thus, he had to keep maintaining the path to Jin’s mind by keeping a delicate balance going for the entire duration Riya might work.

Once Rio was done stabilizing and preparing the path, he sent a mental signal using the artifact he was given beforehand and informed Riya that she could now start.

Riya nodded her head and came forward.

She placed her hand on Jin’s chest and used her legendary skills with full power.

The main reason why Jin was not able to wake up was because his soul and sea of consciousness had suffered severe damage after sacrificing a lot of his own ’potential’ and ’life force’ to deal a fatal blow to Alverto.

Jin succeeded in breaking Alverto’s connection to the spire of ascension, but that cost him a lot of his own.

It was simply impossible to heal the scars and cracks in his soul and sea of consciousness.

Even an SS-ranker could not have done something like this.

An SS-ranker is way beyond mortals, and even when unconscious, their mind and body protect themselves involuntarily using mind power, soul fluctuations, and mana.

This creates massive resistance when trying to apply any kind of magic to them and helps them defend themselves even when unconscious.

But this mechanism also restrains the effects of healing magic just like any other magic out there.

Thus, even an SS-rank healer could not heal Jin and Ashtel’s mind and soul, as the resistance was hindering the healing magic from reaching their mind and soul.

Healing them physically was already difficult enough; mind and soul were near impossible.

However, two young awakeners successfully accomplished this seemingly impossible feat.

Not only because they were both talented, but also because they had powerful legendary skills that were perfect for this one specific task.

The sword intent made a path for the healing magic boosted by the heart of eternal nirvana, and Riya managed to make her way inside Jin’s sea of consciousness.

The appearance of just one of these legendary skills is already rare, but both of them appearing in the same generation at the same time is rare to the extreme.

As they say:

{A miracle is only created by a series of coincidences that happen to overlap each other by pure chance...}(Source: Trust me bro...)

...

Coincidence or not, what mattered was the mastery over those legendary skills.

Rio was already at 99 percent mastery, while Riya had also reached the 90 percent threshold by now; they were both masters in their field by now, and their work was divided according to their skills.

Rio did not do anything aside from maintaining that stable path; his skills allow him to do mind reading and other stuff, but he was not going to do it on Jin.

He left everything related to healing to Riya and focused his entire mind on stabilizing the pathway.

Riya used all the mental power given by the S-rankers, used the overwhelming healing powers and mana, and used the heart of eternal nirvana to precisely calculate and investigate every crack in Jin’s soul and sea of consciousness.

Then she used that overwhelming computing capability and mind power to calculate delicate ratios of healing magic that every little crack might need to heal.

A little bit less or more could instantly destabilize Jin’s soul and mind; that’s why she needed to calculate the ratio with extreme precision.

Thousands of calculations ran in her mind as she used her power with extreme precision at the molecular level.

Her hard work paid off, and she managed to patch up most of the cracks in Jin’s sea of consciousness and soul before the resistance became too much and she could not continue and had to retreat.

The more you interfere with someone’s mind and soul, the more they resist your interference, and it’s especially more prominent in SS-rankers.

Once Riya’s power was pushed out, Rio also pulled his sword back.

Before getting pushed out, Riya managed to patch up most of the damage to Jin’s soul and mind.

The loss of future potential was inevitable, and no one could save that. Jin might even fall down in rank, but that didn’t matter anymore.

After being pushed out, Riya faltered as she felt exhausted, but Link, who was standing nearby, caught her and didn’t let her fall.

Anna came rushing and grabbed Jin’s hand with teary eyes as she stared at him with concern.

”How did it go!?.. he doesn’t seem to be waking up!... b-but he somehow seems better than before...”

Hearing Anna’s concerned voice, Riya replied happily.

”It was a success! Hahahahaha!!!! I succeeded!!!!! HEHEHEHE!!!!”

Riya was genuinely happy; she had progressed further on her path to becoming the greatest healer in the entire world!

She was now one step closer to her ultimate destination! She took the mana recovery potions from Link’s hand and gulped them down with a happy look as she laughed.

She then stood up once again and raised her small fist in the air before shouting,

”We succeeded!! HAHAHAHAH!!”

All the S-rankers and all the people in the hall were filled with awe when they looked at that smiling young girl’s face.

She had achieved what no other could even think of; she had created a possibility that was near impossible to acquire.

It was a ’Miracle’ in the truest sense.

[Ding! You have achieved a feat that was considered impossible by the world!]
