“Are you sure it’s okay?”

Lin Yi’s words stunned the three of them.

Wasn’t it good that everything went smoothly?

Did something have to happen?

“Everything went quite smoothly. After all, the two companies earned more than 100 million US dollars in profits, so they were very cooperative,” Qi Xianzhao said.

“The project managers of the two companies also said that they want to come to our company to take a look and do a tour inspection soon. From the looks of it, they might want to do a long-term partnership.”

“You guys can handle this kind of thing.” Lin Yi said.

“If there are any other relevant collaborations in the future, we don’t need to take them. You can direct them to Huarun Group for such matters. Let them handle the operations, and we can act as intermediaries to make some profit from acting as the pimp.”

“I’m good at this.” He Yuanyuan said.

“Pimp?”

“Sh*t, I mean we can earn our fees from being the middlemen.”

Seeing that the two of them were arguing again, the atmosphere in the office was obviously much more relaxed.

“President Lin, do you have time now? It’s almost the end of the year. I’ve formulated a company’s development plan for the new year. I want to talk to you about this and see if there’s anything you want to modify.”

“Sure.”

Lin Yi changed his posture. “Since the three of you are here, let’s have a small meeting and talk about these things.”

“President Tian, do you want to go first?” Qi Xianzhao said.

“It’s better if you go first. My work plan is based on your discussion. It’s meaningless for me to go first.”

“Alright then.”

Qi Xianzhao cleared his throat and said,

“The three-nanometer photolithography machine project has been set up. This is the most important thing for the company in the new year. Secondly, we are raising the priority of the chip and mobile phone business to solidify our status in the industry and a stable source of income.”

Lin Yi nodded. There was nothing wrong with Qi Xianzhao’s plan.

“Next, I plan to establish a new laboratory and, based on our position in the semiconductor and chip industry, create an Internet of Things (loT) ecosystem to usher people into a smart era.”

“Tell me more about this loT plan.”

“In simple terms, I want users to treat their home, including the owner’s car and garage, as an electronic commodity. They can use our chips as the brain to control various units inside the house, such as the television, air conditioner, washing machine, electric lights, and more. This enables a highly intelligent way of living.”

Lin Yi pondered for a few seconds.

“Go on.”

“Next is the overseas arrangement of semiconductors and chips,” Qi Xianzhao said.

“Although we have successfully developed the most advanced photolithography machine and have already put it into production, compared to ASML, Jaewon Television, and Samsung, our products are not famous enough. Therefore, I plan to try to expand the international market next year and turn Lingyun Group into an international company.”

Lin Yi nodded. Shen Shuyi often said that Qi Xianzhao was a talented person. As long as he was nurtured and given a big enough stage, he would definitely become a famous figure in the future.

Now that he looked at it, she was right.

From both the big picture and the global perspective, He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan were slightly inferior to him.

“These are the general direction of the company’s development next year. President Lin, please give me some suggestions.”

Lin Yi looked at He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan.

“What do you two think?”

“We’ve already seen it beforehand. We were aware of the content. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.” He Yuanyuan said.

“But 1 think we’ll be very busy next year. I suggest President Lin increase our salary.”

“Alright, your suggestion is invalid.”

“Damn.”

“There’s nothing wrong with the proposal itself, but let me add some details.”

Hearing Lin Yi’s words, the three of them subconsciously sat up straight.

Lin Yi was a boss who didn’t handle things himself. He wouldn’t speak unless it was something important.

Once he was about to speak, it meant something big would definitely happen.

“Do you know why I spent so much effort to develop a photolithography machine and a new mobile phone operating system?”

“Out of fear of a monopoly.” said Tian Yan.

“Yes,” Lin Yi said.

“To me, making money is very important, but my sense of mission is more important.”

Lin Yi changed his posture.

“Let me ask you a very simple question. What software do you use when drawing?”

“CAD,” Tian Yan said.

“What software is Finance using?”

“The SAP from Deguo.”

“What software does the chip design use?”

“EDA of Meiguo Synopsys,” Qi Xianzhao said.

“I won’t say anything else. Looking at these three things alone, two of them are Meiguon, and the other is Deguon. If they try to choke us out, how will Lingyun Group continue operating? Can any of you give me an answer?”

“Well…”

Lin Yi’s question stunned the three of them, and they didn’t know how to answer.

Because this was a very terrifying thought.

If the three software companies stopped serving Lingyun Group, more than 80% of the Lingyun Group’s business would be paralyzed.

“Such a thing is unlikely to happen.” He Yuanyuan voiced her thoughts.

“It’s unlikely, but that doesn’t it’s impossible.” Lin Yi said.

“Individuals are insignificant in the face of national interest. When that time comes, no one will be able to stay neutral.”

“Old Qi’s plan is to venture into international waters next year. To make money, we must snatch meat from others’ mouths. When their interests are violated, anything can happen.”

“President Lin, do you mean that these projects will be the core of next year’s development?”

“I can’t say that it’ll be the core, but these things have to be taken seriously. A technology company should maintain a proper appearance,” Lin Yi said.

“Other projects also need to be developed, we can’t neglect them. After all, the group still has so many employees, and we can’t rely on love alone. We still need to make money.”

“I understand, President Lin. I’ll go back and perfect this proposal.”

“Then I’ll have to take my plan back and revise it. We’ll report it together.”

Lin Yi nodded and looked at He Yuanyuan. “What about you? Do you have anything to report?”

“My plan for the new year is to raise my salary.”

“Alright, meeting adjourned.”

He Yuanyuan,”…”

After the three of them left, Lin Yi drove to Huashan Hospital to have lunch with Li Chuhan and Qiao Xin and change his dressing.

Originally, Li Chuhan was the one to do this job, but since Qiao Xin had volunteered, Li Chuhan didn’t think too much about it. It was just a change of dressing, and there wasn’t any technical difficulty, so she let Qiao Xin take over.

However, during this process, all the nurses from the cardiology department surrounded Lin Yi and sat around him.

They looked at Lin Yi eagerly and licked their lips as they watched.

“Can you guys behave? My name is Lin Yi, not Tang Sanzang.”

“It’s mainly because your abs are too tempting. Can I lick them?” A long-haired nurse said..
