“You want to learn now?”

An Ning scoffed a little. “1 learned it over two consecutive winters before I could even be considered a beginner. Do you think you can master it just by watching?”

“Pretty much.”

Because of the system’s reward, Lin Yi possessed ail kinds of knowledge. Skiing was naturally no exception. It was just that he had never put it into practice.

“Come on, stop bragging. If you can learn to ski with just one look, I’ll be impressed.”

“What’s the use of impressing you? If we’re going to do this, let’s make it interesting. Otherwise, 1 won’t play with you.”

An Ning’s eyes darted around, then she had an idea.

“Then let’s do this. Didn’t you say that you’ll get it with just one look? When you’re ready, let’s race. The winner will stuff a handful of snow into the clothes of the loser. What do you think?”

Li Sijin,”???”

“Sister An Ning, isn’t this a bit much?”

“That day during the snowball fight, he filled my clothes with snow. Now that I have a chance, I have to take revenge.”

An Ning looked at Lin Yi. “Do you dare? If you don’t dare, just say it. Don’t make it seem like I’m bullying you.”

“Why wouldn’t I dare?” Lin Yi said as he drove.

“But I want to know, is this handful of snow going to be stuffed upstairs or downstairs?”

“Um…”

An Ning hesitated for a moment, “How about a handful on top and a handful on the bottom?”

Li Sijin was stunned.

Did she have to be so ruthless?

It was fine putting snow in the top, but if you stuffed snow below, wouldn’t it…

These two people were too ruthless.

“Alright, it’s a deal.”

About an hour later, the three of them drove to Yabli Ski Resort.

As a 4A-rated skiing resort, Yabli Ski Resort boasted a complete and luxurious set of facilities. It could easily claim the top spot nationwide, but it came with a high price tag.

However, with a tycoon like Lin Yi around, these expenses meant nothing.

An Ning was already a ski enthusiast, and Li Sijin was visiting a ski resort for the first time, so both of them were a bit excited and eager to experience this. Only Lin Yi wasn’t in a hurry as he followed along, gazing at the scenery around him.

As the three of them walked into the ski resort, a black Volkswagen Passat and a Willing Hongguang followed closely behind and parked in the parking lot of the ski resort.

Two middle-aged men in down jackets got out of the car. One of them had short hair, and the other had a 30/70 parting. He looked sloppy, as if he had not washed his hair for a long time.

“He sure knows how to enjoy himself. He actually brought two beautiful women here to ski.”

The person who spoke was the man with the 30/70 haircut. He had a cigarette in his mouth and no expression on his face. When he spoke, he looked around cautiously. It seemed he was checking his surroundings to see if it was convenient for him to make a move.

“Since he’s going to die anyway, we should let him have some fun for a while longer.”

Compared to the man with the 30/70 haircut, the bald man was much more nervous. Moreover, he looked a little silly and not as smart as his companion.

“Alright, let’s not talk about these things first. Don’t look around so nervously.” The 30/70 man stepped on the cigarette butt in his hand and said.

“Put the things in the car first. Let’s go in and check things out. If we can find an adequate blind spot, well make a move today. If we can’t find a suitable opportunity, well try again another day.”

“Alright!”

After making up their minds, the two of them followed Lin Yi into the scenic area. They acted like ordinary tourists and did not attract anyone’s attention.

At this time, Lin Yi and the other two had already rented snow clothes. They had never worn such clothes before, and Li Sijin felt very amused. She even took a few photos with her phone.

Moreover, An Ning was very considerate. She bought a large turtle plushie along with four smaller ones for Li Sijin. The larger one was placed under her buttocks, and the four smaller ones were placed at her joints so that she wouldn’t feel the pain if she fell.

“Let’s go, Sijin. Ill teach you how to ski.”

Li Sijin nodded happily. “I really don’t know how to ski. Wouldn’t it be embarrassing if I fell?”

“It’s normal. Look at the people on the slopes. Which one of them isn’t covered in snow? Who here would laugh at you?”

Li Sijin chuckled. “I guess I’m wearing a mask and goggles anyway. No one will recognize me even if I fall so there’s nothing to be embarrassed about.”

“You’re right. If you’re afraid of falling, you can forget about learning how to ski for the rest of your life.”

“Uh-huh.”

The three of them changed their equipment and went to the ski resort together.

The ski resort had a total of six ski slopes, categorized into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

For the intermediate and advanced slopes, there were certain restrictions in place.

If someone’s skiing skills were too poor, they would be advised to leave by the staff, which was a reasonable measure.

After all, they couldn’t let someone who was terrible at skiing occupy a slope and prevent others from enjoying it.

Lin Yi had a calm expression, seemingly not panicked at all.

Seeing this, An Ning’s eyes darted around and she asked,

“Lin Yi, are you sure you don’t know how to ski?”

“Didn’t I tell you already?” Lin Yi said.

“It’s not just skiing. This is the first time I’ve seen snow since I came to the northeast.”

“But you don’t look panicked at all,” An Ning said.

“Look at Sijin. She looks like a total beginner.”

“What kind of twisted logic is that? I’m someone who has experienced a lot of worldly things, alright?”

That was true, but An Ning was still a little worried.

Lin Yi had many tricks up his sleeve. She had to be careful.

“The beginner slope is over there. Go ski and show me how good you are.”

Although she had yet to reach the professional level, An Ning was still considered a skiing enthusiast. She was almost at the level of being an expert.

It’s true that you can’t disguise a mule as a horse when you take it out for a walk.

Once Lin Yi hit the slopes, his skill level would become apparent.

This was not something he could fake.

In order to win, An Ning was very thorough and didn’t overlook any details.

“No way. At least give me a chance to learn first.”

“Of course I’ll give you a chance to practice, but try it first. I want to see how good you are.”

With that, An Ning brought Lin Yi and Li Sijin to the most basic slope. It was only a few meters tall. Most of the other people playing here were minors.

During this process, An Ning discovered something from Lin Yi’s walking posture.

Although he was not struggling, he was still very careful. He was a classic example of someone who did not know how to move and was not much better off than Li Sijin.

Even so, An Ning didn’t relent on testing Lin Yi’s skills.

If she was tricked by Lin Yi, she would suffer a huge loss!

An Ning pointed at the snow and said, “Try it.”

“I really don’t know how to ski, and it’ll be embarrassing if 1 fall. 1 have an image to maintain,” Lin Yi replied.

“You’ve come all the way here, so forget about your image for a moment and give it a try,” An Ning encouraged. “Otherwise, you automatically concede defeat.”

“Damn, you’re such a vicious woman.”

“That’s right. A woman’s heart is filled with venom, so don’t try to look for any excuses. Quickly go over and give it a try.” An Ning raised her little head and said..
