“How is that possible?!” An Ning said.

“Who learns to ski after watching for a while? You’re just tricking me!”

“How could I trick you?” Lin Yi said.

“Didn’t you test my skills when you came here just now?”

“Well…”

An Ning was rendered speechless. She was also a little puzzled.

She had personally witnessed Lin Yi’s skiing skills. He was a complete beginner. How could he master skiing in just over an hour?!

She had been skiing for more than two years, but she could not compare to him!

“Sister An Ning, the results is clear. There’s no point in saying all this,” Li Sijin said softly.

“And it’s not embarrassing to lose to Brother Lin. I’ve known him for so long, but I’ve never seen him lose.”

“Who are you siding with? How dare you speak up for him?”

Li Sijin chuckled. “I’m on the side of truth.”

“I wasn’t prepared just now and underestimated you. Let’s compete again.”

Whether it was stuffing snow into his clothes or calling Lin Yi ‘daddy’, An Ning couldn’t accept it. She had to think of a way to beat him!

“I don’t mind competing again. However, the bet will double to involve two handfuls of snow and two calls of ‘Daddy’. This shouldn’t be a problem, right?” “Alright!”

An Ning said seriously. As long as she could win this time, she would be able to offset the wager from last time!

Seeing the two of them walk towards the cable car again, Li Sijin shook her head helplessly and muttered to herself,

“Sister An Ning still doesn’t understand Brother Lin. If he was so easily defeated, his name wouldn’t be Lin Yi.”

“Look, the snow outside is quite clean. 1’11 follow your recommendation and come here to gather some snow.” Lin Yi said.

“I wonder how it feels to get snow stuffed into your clothes. Let me know after you’re done experiencing it.”

An Ning rolled her eyes at him.

“I didn’t take you seriously just now, so you left me behind when we first started. 1 definitely won’t do it again.”

Lin Yi placed his hands behind his head and smiled at the scenery outside the window.

“I think it’s better if you cease this pointless struggle. Instead, think about which position you want to be in when you call me Daddy.”

“Get lost, 1’11 strangle you to death!”

Just as the two of them were fooling around in the cable car, about fifty meters away, the bald man and the 30/70 man had already arrived at their designated positions.

However, the two of them didn’t stay together. The distance between them was about fifty meters, meaning they formed a triangle with Lin Yi.

The two of them were very professional. They didn’t put their eggs in one basket. Whoever had the opening would attack. They didn’t want to give Lin Yi any chance to survive.

“Their cable car is coming up. How are things on your end?”

The man spoke softly through the walkie-talkie.

“I don’t have an opening. I’m waiting. What about you?”

“Me too,” said the 30/70 man.

“If we don’t find an opportunity this time, we’ll attack next time. We have to kill him with one shot. Don’t shoot unless you’re confident.”

“I know!”

After a few simple words, neither of them said anything else. They aimed their guns at the cable car Lin Yi was in and waited for an opportunity.

Not long after, the two of them arrived at the peak of the slope.

“Are you ready?” Lin Yi said.

“Okay, we can start at anytime.”

“Let’s start now! 3, 2,1, let’s go!”

After the countdown ended, An Ning rushed out immediately. However, Lin Yi did not move. Instead, he waited for a few seconds before setting off!

An Ning also realized that Lin Yi was deliberately going easy on her!

However, she did not say anything. How the competition happened did not matter. The outcome was the most important thing.

As long as she won the second round, she would be able to offset her defeat from the first round. She would not have another rematch with Lin Yi after that, in case she lost again. This way, she was sure to win!

“You’ve been skiing for two years, but this is all you can do?”

Just as An Ning was feeling smug, she suddenly heard a voice from the side.

She suddenly turned around and realized that the person who spoke was Lin Yi!

“How can you be so fast?!”

“I’m just good at this.” Lin Yi chuckled.

“I’ll be waiting for you to fulfill your promise. Don’t make me wait too long.”

Lin Yi sped up and overtook An Ning in the blink of an eye, not giving her a chance at all.

Standing below the slope, Li Sijin was not surprised at all to see Lin Yi rush down first.

With Brother Lin’s ability, An Ning could never defeat him.

Not long after, An Ning followed him down. However, her expression was not very good, and she looked like a frosted eggplant.

“I followed your request and competed again. Moreover, 1 even gave you a three-second headstart. In the end, you still lost. You don’t have anything else to say, right?”

“Did you really learn how to ski in the past hour?” An Ning asked suspiciously.

“What else? You don’t think 1 knew how to do it before, do you?”

“You learned too quickly.”

“Have you forgotten that 1 speak eight languages?”

With Lin Yi’s reminder, An Ning suddenly realized that this guy was not a normal person at all. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have learned so many foreign languages!

Therefore, it was actually possible that he had learned how to ski in just over an hour!

However, if that was the case, she had lost from the very start!

An Ning really wanted to slap herself. If she wanted to ski, so be it. Why did she have to bet against him?

If this promise is fulfilled, she won’t be utterly humiliated!

Suddenly, Aiming saw someone snowboarding, coming down the slope at high speed, and her eyes lit up!

She was also skilled in snowboarding, but Lin Yi had never tried it. If she challenged him to a game of snowboarding, she was sure she could win!

“Why are you still standing there? 1 know you lost two rounds, but it’s time to fulfill your promise.”

“Um…”

“It was just two rounds, why are you in such a hurry?” An Ning said.

“Let’s be more proper. We’ll do three out of five. As long as you defeat me again, I’ll completely admit defeat!”

“Sister An Ning, 1 think you should face reality. Since things have already come to this, stop struggling. Brother Lin has already defeated you twice in a row. That’s enough to prove the victor.”

“We were competing on skis just now. This time, we’ll try snowboarding.”

“Hmm? Snowboarding?”

“That’s right. Snowboarding is also a snow sport. Don’t tell me you lack even this bit of common sense?” An Ning said smugly.

“You didn’t bring this up earlier.”

“Why even mention it? There are so many people snowboarding on the slopes. You should be able to see that,” Aiming said.

“Let’s rent two snowboards right now, head up there, and have a little competition. Best of five. If you can beat me one more time, I, An Ning, will definitely keep my promise.”

“Are you sure?”

“Of course. After all, I’m in my twenties. Why would 1 go back on my word?”

“Sijin, record her words so that she can’t backtrack later. 1 want to have clear evidence.”

“So be it. Do you really think I’m afraid of you?”

“Okay, let’s begin.”

She whipped out her phone and asked An Ning, “Sister An Ning, are you sure?”

“Of course I’m sure.” An Ning straightened her expression and said,

“The competition between Lin Yi and me will be best out of five.. If 1 lose another round, I’ll fulfill my promise and not go back on my word!”
