The next morning, Lin Yi woke up early to wash up.

Originally, he did not want to participate in the semiconductor conference.

However, this incident greatly affected the Huaxian semiconductor industry.

Most importantly, the higher-ups were very concerned about this matter.

This was because they also knew that the Lingyun Group was secretly researching the photolithography machine and had secretly sided with him.

Now that such a thing had happened, they also wanted to understand the situation.

The four of them drove to the International Conference Center in Yanjing.

People of different skin colors could be seen through the car window. They were all gathered here, making the scene abnormally lively.

After parking the car, Lin Yi saw Shen Shuyi’s Audi A8 parked on the right side of the entrance.

When he got out of the car, Shen Shuyi also walked out.

Lin Yi guessed that he was waiting for him.

“Dr. Shen.”

Shen Shuyi walked past Lin Yi and greeted Shen Tianzhuo first.

“President Shen, long time no see,” Shen Tianzhuo said with a smile.

“If I remember correctly, it’s been almost three years since we last met. You’re still as elegant as ever.”

“President Shen, you flatter me too much. I’m getting old and my brain isn’t sharp anymore.”

Shen Tianzhuo said self-deprecatingly. It was obvious that he was still brooding over the theft of the technology.

After a simple greeting, Lin Yi introduced Shen Shuyi to Sun Fuyu and Lu Ying.

However, they were not in the same circle. Thus, Sun Fuyu and Lu Ying did not know how amazing Shen Shuyi was.

They only knew that she wasn’t a simple person. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been able to get so close to Lin Yi.

“Director Shen, go in and wait for me. I’ll be there soon.”

“Alright, you and President Shen can continue chatting first.”

Shen Tianzhuo smiled and waved at Shen Shuyi. Then, he brought Sun Fuyu and Lu Ying into the conference center.

“Let’s go. This is not the place to talk.”

Under Shen Shuyi’s lead, the two of them arrived at the cafe beside the conference center and found a corner where they could sit down.

“I don’t think Dr. Shen is in a good mood,” Shen Shuyi said.

“Hey, let’s not talk about this.” Lin Yi waved his hand.

“What happened yesterday was a big blow to him. I’ve been brooding over it and I couldn’t sleep the entire night. I was afraid that he would jump off a building or get a cerebral hemorrhage from anger.”

“Director Shen is a sharp person. You trusted him unconditionally, but in the end, things ended up like this. He must be feeling uncomfortable. It’s expected,” Shen Shuyi said.

“But what do you think? Do you have any leads?”

“We more-or-less know who the spy is.”

“At this point, even if we know who the spy is, it won’t make much of a difference.”

“It’s not a big problem; I’ve already made contact. There are just some details that still need to be sorted out.”

Shen Shuyi leaned back in her chair and pondered for a moment before saying, “Did you see the news this morning? Samsung and Jaewon Television have released a few very interesting pieces of news. They will cooperate closely with Mitsui Group in the future. Their stock prices that fell yesterday have already begun to warm up.

“It’s just a temporary measure though. Their old heads still have to speak politely to me when they see me. These three guys can’t cause us any trouble.

“This matter must be watertight. Nothing can go wrong. The leaders of the Industry and Information Technology Department are watching.” Shen Shuyi said.

“Although the Liang family can protect you, you still have to walk your own path in the future. You have to build these connections for yourself.”

“I understand what you’re saying. It’s not a big problem.”

“As long as you’re confident.” Shen Shuyi looked at her watch. “Let’s go. It’s about time we start.”

Lin Yi paid and the two of them walked towards the entrance of the conference center.

At the same time, Mitsui and his assistant arrived at the door.

Yamazuki Mitsui’s arrival attracted the attention of many people.

Last night, they announced to the public that they had developed a photolithography machine.

They had successfully challenged ASML and proved to the world that Sunrise Land had a powerful hand in the field of lithography machines.

The participants were all elites in the semiconductor field. They all knew that from now on, there would be room for these three families in the semiconductor field!

After getting out of the car, many people came to greet him and handed him their business cards.

Yamazuki Mitsui also responded to them one by one in a very friendly manner.

“Mr. Mitsui, I’ve already asked around. Intel has sent their general manager, Alice Grove, to attend the meeting.”

After the people who greeted him left, Mitsui’s assistant said.

“Alright, I’ll talk to her about the collaboration later.”

Mitsui tidied up his suit and prepared to go in for a meeting.

“Mr. Mitsui, look over there.”

Yamazuki Mitsui turned his head and saw Lin Yi and Shen Shuyi walking towards him.

As the head of the Huarun Group, Shen Shuyi recognized him at a glance. She stood next to Lin Yi and whispered in his ear,

“This is Yamazuki Mitsui, the second-in-command of Mitsui Group. Mitsui Heavy Industries re-entered the world stage under his leadership.”

“I obtained his information yesterday. He is indeed not bad. He’s quite a talent.”

“Let’s go. He seems to be waiting for us there.”

The two of them walked towards the entrance of the conference center without hiding. When Yamazuki Mitsui saw them, he walked toward them.

“President Shen, President Lin, it’s my honor to meet you here.”

Shen Shuyi’s influence was much greater than Lin Yi’s in the world.

Therefore, Yamazuki Mitsui knew her.

“Your Mitsui family is really something. I’m impressed you successfully developed a five-nanometer photolithography machine. Now ASML and the investors behind them won’t be able to sleep.”

There was a hidden meaning in Shen Shuyi’s words. It was if she was warning Yamazuki Mitsui.

ASML’s hundreds of investors were all the kings of various industries throughout the world.

The Mitsui family announced that they had developed a photolithography machine. Behind the scenes, this was also a challenge to ASML and the capital behind him.

No one knew what the future of the semiconductor industry would look like.

“With the Mitsui family’s huge financial resources, it won’t be a problem to deal with international capital.” Yamazuki Mitsui smiled and said.

“I believe that with the hard work of hundreds of scientists in the Mitsui family, the photolithography machine developed will definitely be able to seize a huge market share. Those investors are not fools. I believe they will make the right decision when the time comes.”

With that, Yamazuki Mitsui looked at Lin Yi provocatively. “President Lin, am I right?”

“It’s indeed correct, but there’s still a gap between research and actual mass production.”

Lin Yi patted Yamazuki Mitsui shoulder with a serious tone, like a wise man, and cautioned,

“You’ve just started, so take it slow in your progress, or else you might stretch yourselves too thin..”
