Dong Dong Dong..

Fu Yuqiang pounded his gavel. “Defendant, please watch your language!”

“Sorry, it’s just a catchphrase.” Lin Yi smiled.

“I’m not sure about the regulations you mentioned, and I’ve never read them. But I do know that the funds received by the foundation are meant to be made public.”

“But the money I gave to all the orphanages was my own, and the charity I do is based on my own will. I’ve never raised a single cent publicly, so why should I make it public when I’m spending my own money on charity? Aren’t some idiots being too strict? I’m sorry, I’m cussing again.”

!!
“W-what did you say? The money you give to the orphanage is all yours?”

They were dumbfounded!

Everyone was dumbfounded as they stared at Lin Yi as though they had just heard something unbelievable.

“That’s right, every penny donated was mine.”

Every word Lin Yi said was as heavy as a thousand catties.

No one thought that Lin Yi would use his own money for charity!

Even He Yuanyuan and Qi Xianzhao were a little surprised.

They knew that Lin Yi was the one who provided a portion of the foundation’s money, but they didn’t know that he was the one who was providing all the money!

How big of a heart did he have to have to spend his own money?

“Defendant, are you sure everything you said is true?” Fu Yuqiang asked.

“That’s right, it’s my own money. You can investigate if you want. If any of the money isn’t mine, you can punish me by making me suffer for the rest of my life.”

Everyone, “…”

Don’t be so shameless!

“Conversely, I feel that certain foundations don’t need to do charity at all if they don’t have money. What’s the point of setting up an auction, selling some junk, and going out to do charity work with other people’s money?” Lin Yi said.

Nobody present was stupid. Everyone knew that Lin Yi was talking about the Tianhong Foundation.

They had just held a grand charity banquet a few days ago.

“Alright, I’m done struggling. You decide what to do.”

Rustling sounds could be heard as the people below hurriedly took out their equipment and pointed it at Lin Yi and Zhao Zhengyang.

In just a few short minutes, something that was set in stone had been flipped on its head!

It was too exciting!

“This…”

Fu Yuqiang was stunned!

How was he going to judge this?

You were using your own money for charity, so who can control you?

There was no way to judge this!

Unconsciously, Fu Yuqiang looked at Zhao Zhengyang, a little unsure of what to do.

Zhao Zhengyang clenched his fists, his face pale.

Never in his dreams did he think that Lin Yi would use his own money for charity!

Did he have nowhere else to spend his money?

A few seconds later, Zhao Zhengyang closed his eyes and didn’t show any expression.

However, to Fu Yuqiang, this was already a statement.

“The court hereby declares that the defendant, Lin Yi, has not violated any relevant regulations for this series of charity activities and will be released from court!”

Hearing the result of the trial, the people below the stage were all shocked and had on different expressions.

For a long time, this place had been known as the Zhao family’s back garden.

They had never lost a case here!

However, today, this man had broken the record!

It was too exciting!

Lin Yi stretched lazily and looked at Zhao Zhengyang with a smile. “Little brother, your methods aren’t good, but I still have to thank your contribution.”

“Contribution?” Zhao Zhengyang asked coldly.

“Because of your fifty thousand dollars, the two of us went out for a candlelit dinner and got a presidential suite. Of course, there is nothing for you to worry about, we just spent the night talking about life and didn’t do anything out of the ordinary. As for the rest of the money, we bought a box of birth control the next morning and used it all up. Not a single cent was left.” Lin Yi said with a smile.

“Tell me, don’t you think I should thank you? If it wasn’t for your fifty thousand dollars, I wouldn’t have had the money to get the presidential suite.”

What the f*ck!

He was already buying birth control, yet he still said that he didn’t do anything!

What the f*ck!

Pfft!

The reporters couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

The Zhao family’s eldest young master was getting cucked!

“I’m leaving first, I won’t stay here any longer. Brother Zhao, let’s chat again when we have time.”

Lin Yi walked in front while He Yuanyuan and Qi Xianzhao followed behind.

The reporters at the back watched them silently!

This man wasn’t simple!

“Qu Nan!”

“I’m here, Boss Zhao!”

“Get someone to take all the reporters’cameras. I don’t want any news of what happened today to leak out!” Zhao Zhengyang said with narrowed eyes.

“Got it, Boss Zhao. I’ll get someone to do it right now!”

After saying that, Qu Nan looked at Lin Yi, who was leaving. “Boss Zhao, this kid is a scoundrel. I’m afraid conventional methods won’t work. Do you want me to find someone to teach him a lesson?”

“No need, I’ll do it myself!”

Zhao Zhengyang was so angry that he lost his last bit of rationality.

“Boss, you’re so arrogant. Brother Qi and I thought that there would be contributions from other sources, but it turned out to all be your own money.”

“When we first started, we were afraid of encountering idiots like Zhao Zhengyang. Your Senior and I thus decided to manage the funds in this way,” Lin Yi said.

“And this is also the reason why she reminded me so many times not to put the cart before the horse.”

“Senior Senior is really farsighted. I admire her.”

“Why aren’t you praising me?”

He Yuanyuan chuckled. “You’re amazing too. I don’t have such a big heart nor such foresight.”

“Charity is very important to me, but I’m afraid of meeting fools like Zhao Zhengyang, so I could only do this,” Lin Yi shrugged.

“President Lin, I’m responsible for the matter regarding Hope Orphanage and Honghua Orphanage,” Qi Xianzhao said.

“I’m willing to accept the company’s punishment. I’llmanage this matter strictly in the future.”

“Why are you so lazy to take full responsibility? He Yuanyuan is also responsible.”

“Hey, hey, hey, can’t you let Brother Qishow his manliness?” He Yuanyuan said.

“Don’t you think that Brother Qi looks especially handsome when he takes all the responsibility?”

“Handsome my *ss. If it were me, I’d sell you out as a scapegoat right away.”

He Yuanyuan pursed her lips. “I admit, I’ll take full responsibility for this. I won’t run awayfrom it.”

“In truth, this has nothing to do with you guys. You don’t have to blame yourself,” Lin Yi said.

“It’s probably that idiot, Zhao Zhengyang, who offered them a lot of money. It’s normal for them to lose control when faced with this.”

“That’s a possibility,” He Yuanyuan said.

“Therefore, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to have much of an effect even if you guys manage it more strictly in the future. You might as well let nature take its course,” Lin Yi said.

“The human heart is like your senior sister’s underwear. You can’t figure out what color she’s wearing today.”
