Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 97 The Amazing Decision

Chapter 97 The Amazing Decision

After discussing the matter with Hobbs and others, Lin Ye watched them walk out of the hall.

Only the temple guards headed by Rita remained in the council hall.

Seeing that there was no one in the hall, she was ready to leave.

But as soon as he got up, Lin Ye stopped him: ”Why are you going, stay, I have to discuss something with you!”

”Didn’t you just say that you don’t have any feelings for the temple?” Rita was a little annoyed.

Before that, she had sworn allegiance with her guards at the temple, but it was really disappointing that Lin Ye would say such a thing.

The senior officer behind her also had a temper, but because of Rita’s face, she didn’t explode on the spot.

It was just a cold face, so that the atmosphere in the entire council hall became weird.

Lin Ye looked at these people and couldn’t help laughing.

Rita frowned, anger flashing in her eyes: ”Why are you laughing?”

”It was all a deceit just now, do you believe that?” Lin Ye coughed twice, suppressed his smile, and said with a serious face.

”I just want to scare those people. Although they have extremely high power in the city and are used to domineering, after the rebel invasion, they also know that the temple is under no leadership. , Survival will become more difficult, so they dare not gamble with their future, at least, Hobbes dare not!”

”What if they really turned against each other? Samson has been against Elder Erwin before, let alone you, the new Lord of the Temple!”

Rita is really worried. This approach is very risky. If this group of people is angered and the forces in the city unite, the consequences will be very serious.

Lin Ye was not panicked at all, he said casually:

”Then it would be better. It is them who want to rebel, not me who forces them to do so.

I just want to reform the old system, which is a great thing from the people’s point of view.

Therefore, even if the people in the city were not on my side, it was impossible for them to support Samson and the others.

In any case, the people of Ayer advocate faith, and they will never agree to such things as treason and usurpation! ”

”Samson can do anything!” Rita said worriedly.

Lin Ye looked at her and said with a faint smile, ”Me too!”

After hearing this, Rita stopped saying anything.

She looked at the team behind Lin Ye. Although they were so small that they couldn’t even make up a regular temple patrol team, their combat strength and consciousness were at the top level.

The 5000-strong army she led was wiped out in the previous raid on El Star, but they broke out of the siege at a very small cost.

Not only that, there are people in the team with extraordinary skills, or in other words, there is even more powerful power hidden in those people.

Especially that naive-looking guy who can fight Zerg creatures with his bare hands is beyond her imagination.

You must know that even after the ascension, the Ayre people whose physique has been greatly improved, would not dare to stand rashly among the Zerg warriors and parry several enemies with their own strength.

Sensing Rita’s gaze, Qin Lie, who was sitting on the other side of the council hall, stopped whispering with his companions. He was stunned for a while, and then scratched his head and smiled back after being reminded by Major Sim. .

But the other party turned his head directly, and you could even see a trace of disgust in his eyes.

Qin Lie looked at Sim suspiciously, and the latter simply covered his face and couldn’t bear to look directly.

Sensing that the aura around him was a bit subtle, Lin Ye immediately said something to ease the embarrassment: ”Let’s talk about the business!”

He stepped off the stage, came to the middle of the aisle, glanced at the people sitting on both sides, and then continued: ”I want to go back to El Star!”

This is a last resort.

Because after the system leapfrog promotion, his survival points were cleared.

But now he urgently needs to repair and upgrade several major central facilities of the floating island.

Especially the scientific research center, if it wants to use the technology of the human camp and the El civilization to develop higher-level weapons and equipment, it must upgrade the facility.

Not only that, but he still has many functional modules that need to be upgraded and strengthened, including data analysis of the red armor on his body.

And as soon as these words came out, Rita’s eyes were full of surprise, and the senior guard officer sitting behind her looked at each other in blank dismay, making bursts of surprise.

At the same time, Lin Ye informed everyone on the Floating Island in the language of Blue Star, and their expressions were wonderful.

Qin Lie stood up from his seat, spreading his hands to hide the doubts in his heart:

”How do you fight such a big place? You don’t want to grow mushrooms, do you? But our current conditions don’t allow it!”

Even Cheng Bei, who was always known for his ”facial paralysis”, frowned at this moment and looked at him suspiciously.

”What’s the reason?” Rita was puzzled.

”The reason is very simple!” Lin Ye has already thought up his rhetoric, ”Elder Erwin once said that the mutated Aiir people can communicate, so I want to see, what method can be used to awaken their consciousness, and what is the reason? !
After all, a similar situation happened on my home planet. ”

Rita persuaded: ”But it’s not the old Al planet, I told you before, that planet has been hollowed out by Zerg creatures, and now it’s full of bug nests from the inside out!”

Lin Ye raised his hand and glanced at the fiery red battle armor, and continued:
”The main force of the Zerg has already left Planet Aiur. Although there are still a large number of Zerg creatures staying on it, this is a rare opportunity for us!”

”Then, how many people are needed this time?”

While speaking, Rita looked at the officers behind her. They obviously disagreed with Lin Ye’s actions.

The entire army of 5000 people was wiped out before, which is already the biggest loss of the temple in recent years.

”Only 20 people are needed!” Lin Ye stretched out two fingers and turned to face the crowd.

Because he is using the Aiur language now, all the temple guards including Rita and the others let out an exclamation.

Lin Ye made a rough calculation and found that only 20 people are really needed.

He has a total of 13 people on his side, plus Rita brings some soldiers who can recognize the way and drive floating boats, and that’s about it.

He informed Rita of the configuration of the number of people, and at the same time informed Qin Lie and others.

”This time we need to hide our tracks as much as possible, not to take the initiative to attack, but to lay traps and wait for the Zerg creatures to come!
Floating Island originally had a large amount of equipment and military resources, including special weapons brought from the coastline organization. We will bring them as much as possible, so that those bugs can have a good experience! ”

Rita’s forehead had already begun to break out in cold sweat. She couldn’t imagine how a team of 20 people would face hundreds of thousands, or even millions of Zerg troops.

”Then where do we enter El Star?” she asked.

Lin Ye smiled slightly: ”Fix the teleportation point, let’s break in from the front!”

He needs to use the power of the Hornet drone to unload the firepower accessories, let them go into battle lightly, pass through the portal as fast as possible, and rush into Al Star.

While the drone establishes a real-time picture of the front line, it can also distract the defending Zerg fighter Stingbee.

And the remaining low-level Zerg fighters couldn’t withstand the heavy firepower attack at all!
As long as they break through the line of defense and enter the interior of El Star, the rest will be easy.
