Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2512: Chapter 24: Divining the Outcome (Part 2)

Different hexagrams naturally have different annotations.

With different annotations, the interpretation of the hexagrams differs, and the judgments of fortune and misfortune can vary.

This is just one category within the Great Wilderness divination system.

This set of systems is only a small part of Mr. Witch’s booklet.

If we talk on a larger scale, Mo Hua speculates that within the Way of Cause and Effect, there are bound to be more, deeper laws.

Such as insight into causality, attack and defense, grafting, stealing, reversing... and so on.

Just thinking about these is profoundly obscure to the extreme.

And all of this is the ”Way of the Heavenly Mechanism Causality”.

Extremely dangerous, extremely obscure, extremely mysterious, yet extremely exquisite.

Mo Hua’s heart was quite touched.

The path of seeking the Dao hides great dangers.

The knowledge of Tao cultivation is also vast and boundless.

Many things, you don’t know until you learn them. Once you learn, you realize that the intricacies are truly unfathomable.

And all this knowledge is passed down from the painstaking pursuit of the Dao by predecessors.

Especially the dangerous and mysterious way of causality, being able to form a spell point and pass it down, it’s unknown how much painstaking thought and effort of brilliant talents from ancient times to the present are condensed within it.

If it weren’t for these outstanding talents and great abilities, who painstakingly researched generation after generation, passing on the firewood, learning these great Dao spell points would truly take an unfathomable amount of time, effort, and detours.

Mo Hua’s heart was both respectful and grateful.

At the same time, he was also full of anticipation.

”There’s something difficult and powerful to learn again...”

Mo Hua’s eyes were bright, like a bright fire in the dark night.

...

Afterward, the focus of Mo Hua’s cultivation temporarily shifted from Formation to the ”Great Wilderness Demon Bone Divination Skill”.

It’s not that he didn’t want to practice more formations, but there really weren’t any more ”difficult” formations available for him to learn at the moment.

The Reversed Spirit Formation is a twenty-pattern formation.

The Great Wilderness Cyan Dragon Formation Map’s summary and calculations are also of twenty patterns.

And now Mo Hua’s divine thought is already at twenty-one patterns.

A twenty-pattern Ultimate Formation is no longer enough to ”trouble” his divine thought and achieve the effect of tempering. It can only be practiced for fun in leisure time.

So, before finding a new, more difficult Ultimate Formation, Mo Hua devoted a large part of his energy to studying the Great Wilderness’s demon bone divination skill.

To Mo Hua’s surprise, frequent practice of the divination skill also greatly consumed divine thought.

In terms of the fine, complex degree of divine thought control, it might not compare to Formation Painting.

But in sheer ”volume” consumption, heavenly mechanism divination outdoes it.

Thus, from another perspective, this also counts as ”sharpening” divine sense.

Previously, when Mo Hua used copper coins for simple ”divination,” he did expend a fair amount of divine sense, but using one copper coin was too simple a method.

Moreover, usually only one or two calculations were made, too few, with no fixed spell point to continuously hone divine thought and improve divine sense.

Now, being able to rely on studying demon bone divination to exercise divine sense from another aspect is indeed an unexpected joy.

Of course, this is not yet the most ideal situation.

The most ideal situation would be to conduct divination using a causality formation.

This ”dual approach” would undoubtedly be stronger in honing divine sense.

In the Great Wilderness Demon Bone Divination Skill, there are indeed seemingly ”formation pattern” traces.

Mo Hua speculates that this is the formation used for ”divination”.

But exactly what formation it is, and what purpose it serves, Mo Hua knows nothing about.

Even in the book of demon bone divination skills, only a few strokes of the patterns are recorded, which are also incomplete, fragmented with neither head nor tail, impossible to distinguish whether they are hexagram patterns, monster patterns, totems, or formation patterns...

So all this is Mo Hua’s speculation based on clues.

Whether there truly is a causality formation, he is not very certain and will have to validate it in his future travels.

And in the following days, aside from researching divination skills, he also had to keep an eye on the affairs of the Canglang Sect.

Sect Master Zhao, this person likes to pose as ”righteous and dignified” to deceive people, but his intentions are not bad, and he indeed has some discretion in his actions.

In the entire Canglang Sect, he is also the most suitable candidate for Sect Leader.

And he also executed Mo Hua’s words practically and came to visit Mo Hua occasionally to report on progress.

In the guest room, Mo Hua and Sect Master Zhao were having tea.

Golden Core Realm’s Sect Master Zhao was gentle and respectful to Foundation Establishment Realm’s Mo Hua, saying:

”Everything was done according to Young Master Mo’s command.”

”It was not my ’command’...” Mo Hua corrected, ”It was my ’suggestion’.”

Sect Master Zhao sighed inwardly, nodded, and said, ”Yes, everything was done according to Young Master’s ’suggestion’.”

”Inner sect disciples are no longer allowed to worship the wolf statue. They are forbidden from visualizing any wolf images, burning incense and worshiping ancestors, or being led astray by ’wolf nature’. ”

”Some unscrupulous disciples were punished.”

”Severe ones were detained in the Taoist Court and imprisoned in the Taoist Prison.”

”Elders and disciples closely connected with the previous sect leader, were ’purged’... and ’reformed’.”

”The sect rules were also restructured, disallowing bullying the market, forced buying and selling, monopolization, and exclusion...”

”Sect members and disciples are also no longer allowed to oppress the people, beat or kill... violators will be severely punished...”

...

Sect Master Zhao recited one by one, instance by instance to Mo Hua.

Mo Hua thought for a while and asked, ”What about those hedonistic pavilions in the inner city?”

Elder Ji was trying to ”corrupt” him with some vulgar women and gambling in those pavilions.

Sect Master Zhao said, ”They have all been shut down, and the people have been dispersed...”

Mo Hua said, ”Tear down those buildings too, I don’t like flashy things.”

Sect Master Zhao was slightly stunned, sighed, and said, ”Alright.”
