Starting from the Wizarding World

Chapter 196: The Undercurrent of Old LingtonChapter 196: The Undercurrent of Old Lington
The Death Star Grand Wizard’s cold attitude made Isabel feel a little uneasy, because she was not sure if she had made the other party unhappy.

Even though Rorschach has said that the Grand Wizard of the Death Star is just his colleague, they are only colleagues for now. After all, the appearance of the Grand Wizard of the Death Star is simply impeccable in Isabel’s eyes. What if he really becomes her sister-in-law in the future?

She didn’t want any misunderstandings to arise from her mistake, so she whispered in Rorschach’s ear, ”Did I say something wrong?”

Rorschach immediately glanced at the Death Star wizard and understood what Isabel was worried about. He smiled and said, ”You don’t have to worry about its emotions. In its eyes, you are no different from an ant on the roadside.”

”...?”

Isabel could tell that her brother was comforting her, but the content of his comfort made her feel uncomfortable.

Before she could ask more details, Rorschach suddenly asked, ”Have you offended anyone recently, Isa?”

Although Isabel didn’t understand why Rorschach suddenly asked this question, she still shook her head and said, ”Probably not. I have rarely interacted with people since I came here. I am basically in the process of adapting to this place.”

Ou Hunt also said: ”That’s true. Miss Isa and I usually live in the Yellow Church. We only go out on rare occasions.”

”What happened, brother?” Isabel realized that Rorschach must have discovered something and immediately asked.

”There are three parties following you in secret.” The Death Star wizard just closed his eyes, then opened them again and looked at Isabel.

”what?!”

Isabel and Ou Hunt were both shocked. They obviously didn’t expect that they were just going out for a meal and some fresh air, but they would be targeted by three parties.

As upgraded beings, their strength is also average, so why are they being targeted for no reason?

”Don’t be nervous, let me see what’s going on first--” Rorschach smiled and patted Isabel’s head, signaling her to be at ease.

At the same time, he has already taken action.

……

As one of the rising stars of the R’lyeh sect, Renzel is relatively well-known in the five western districts, especially since he is a D-level capable person!
You know, he is only nineteen years old now!

The D-level capable people are themselves a watershed in Old Lington. Basically, only when you reach the D-level can you be considered as an ordinary member of each sect.

The E-level ones are just like cannon fodder. They are basically trainee members in various sects, and they are also the largest in number.

In Old Lington, anyone who can become a D-level capable person before the age of thirty can basically be called a genius.

It cannot be said that a D-level capable person like Renzel, who is only 19 years old, is unprecedented, but he is indeed rare in various sects.

Just looking at the five western districts, there are very few that can compare with him.

Therefore, he was fortunate enough to be noticed by a B-level figure of the R’lyeh sect, who accepted him as his disciple.

This B-level figure is called ”Deep Blue Butcher”. He is the second-tier figure of the R’lyeh sect after the Pope, the Chief Judge and other top strongmen. He has considerable fame in the five western regions. He was once someone that Renzel could only look up to, but he did not expect that he would become his teacher now.

At this time, Renzel followed behind the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ and monitored the woman named Isabel who was standing at the door of the restaurant not far away.

”Teacher, are we making a big deal out of nothing? I think she is just an E-level capable person, there shouldn’t be anything special about her, right?” Renzel said to his teacher ’Deep Blue Butcher’ with some confusion.

”Making a fuss out of a molehill?”

The Deep Blue Butcher shook his head and said, ”You are still too young, Renzel. It is precisely because she is too weak that there is a problem... According to the information sent back by our secret agent in the Yellow Sect, this little girl named Isabel was brought to Old Lington from the lower world by the Yellow Sect. Do you think it is normal to bring an E-level capable person to upgrade?”

When Renzel heard this, he realized that he had indeed oversimplified it.

The strength of the upgraded ones is usually not weak, because weak upgraded ones are not worthy of being led to Old Lington, so basically most of the upgraded ones that can be seen in Old Lington are mainly C-level capable ones, and there are also a small number of D-level upgraded ones, but they are all geniuses of various sects.

The number of B-level upgraders must be extremely rare, because most small worlds cannot produce B-level talents at all. Only a very small number of the top medium-sized worlds below Old Lington can withstand B-level talents.

At least the world that Isabel and Ouhunt originally came from could not support the existence of B-class users. Even Sequence 1 was only equivalent to a C-class user.

But no matter what, C-level talents are the mainstream of those who are promoted, and D-level talents are already very rare.

As for the E-class?
Maybe there has been, but at least in the life of the Deep Blue Butcher, he has never seen it, or even heard of it.

After learning that the Yellow Sect had received an E-level upgrader, the R’lyeh sect immediately realized that the situation was not simple, so they tried every means to obtain the information about the E-level upgrader and sent people to find out the truth.

The fact that the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ was sent to investigate an E-level upgrader, as one of the top ten strongest men in the R’lyeh sect, was enough to show how much importance the R’lyeh sect attached to this matter.

As for his disciple Renzel, he was brought by him to see the world.

”Then why don’t we just capture her first?” Renzel suggested.

”Do you think I haven’t thought about it?” After glancing at his disciple, ’Deep Blue Butcher’ sneered, ”If only it were that easy. I sent a death squad as a test before, but he was eliminated without a sound. I’m sure there are other people secretly watching her.”

”Is there someone else? Could it be that someone from the Yellow Sect is protecting her in secret?” Renzel guessed.

”We can’t rule out this possibility, but it’s not certain, so we’d better not act rashly. Maybe... Look, isn’t the surprise coming?” ’Deep Blue Butcher’ suddenly smiled halfway through his words.

Because under his gaze, a man and a woman bumped into the woman named Isabel, and the two of them looked very unfamiliar, at least the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ had no impression of having seen them before.

This means that these two people are not important members of any major force in the five western regions, and their identities are currently unknown.

Is it possible that these two people are the reason why the Yellow Sect brought Isabel to Old Lington?
”Teacher, do you think there are secrets about these two people?” Renzel also saw the two people and asked excitedly.

”As an ascender, how could that little girl named Isabel have any acquaintances in Old Lington? These two people are very likely the reason why the Yellow Sect took her in.” The ’Deep Blue Butcher’ said with a smile.

Because he finally reaped the rewards of his wait.

”Your analysis is correct, but no one has told you that is it really perverted to stalk a girl like this?” A strange voice suddenly sounded.

The ’Deep Blue Butcher’ shuddered all over and suddenly looked in the direction where the sound came from!

However, they saw a figure appear behind the master and disciple, and this figure looked exactly like the strange man among the two who had just arrived!

”You!” ’Deep Blue Butcher’ looked at the other party in shock.

”Are you a follower of Cthulhu?” Rorschach asked after observing the basic information of the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ through the Eye of True Prison.

This question is actually nonsense, because in his eyes, the origin of the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ is no secret at all.

”How dare you call my Lord by His name?” The Blue Butcher was furious when he heard that the other party actually called the true God by His name. ”He is still a devout believer. Okay, I’ll leave him to you, Ksira. See if he knows any useful information.” Rorschach said.

”As you command, my dear master—”

Ksira’s graceful figure had quietly emerged from the air in front of the master and disciple of ”Deep Blue Butcher”, with a smile on her face.

”Lord Ksheela?!!”

The ’Deep Blue Butcher’ was completely stunned.

As a powerful figure of the R’lyeh sect in Old Lington, he naturally would recognize Ksira!

The little princess of R’lyeh, the daughter of Cthulhu, the hidden one Csira!

This person is a genuine Old One. Even the Pope of the R’lyeh sect has to bow to her when he sees her.

Why is Lord Ksira with the man in front of him and calls him master?

This really subverts the worldview of ’Deep Blue Butcher’!

But this is not his fault. No one in the entire R’lyeh sect knows that there is a problem with Ksira, because Cthulhu has never mentioned it.

In Cthulhu’s eyes, Ksira had been killed by the wizard camp, and he never thought that his daughter would submit to others.

Naturally, He didn’t want to mention such a shameful thing.

Therefore, these Cthulhu believers, including the ’Deep Blue Butcher’, had no idea that what had happened to Cthulhu had happened to her, and naturally they would never have thought that she would actually submit to others!

Therefore, the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ was extremely shocked at this time!
”Long time no see, little Deep Blue~~~” When Ksira saw the ’Deep Blue Butcher’, she also greeted him.

Of course she knew the ’Deep Blue Butcher’. After all, she usually helped Cthulhu with many chores and was very familiar with the people of the R’lyeh sect.

”Lord Ksira, you...”

After hearing Ksira’s greeting, ’Deep Blue Butcher’ realized that this was not a fake, but the real Lord Ksira the Secreter!

”I don’t have time to talk nonsense with you now, Little Deep Blue. Do you want to tell me the whole story on your own initiative, or do you want me to see it myself?” Ksira walked towards the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ step by step, with a calm tone and a smile on her face.

But there was a chill in her smile!
”Lord Ksira, you, you... betrayed my Lord?” asked the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ with a trembling voice.

He actually didn’t want to believe it, but the attitude that Ksira showed from beginning to end told him this.

But, how is this possible?
The daughter of the great Lord of R’lyeh actually betrayed her father?

If this kind of thing were to spread, I’m afraid that many people in the R’lyeh sect would lose faith directly, or at least the seeds of doubt would be planted in them.

”You can understand it any way you want, so what is your choice?” Ksira was almost approaching the ’Deep Blue Butcher’.

”I choose……”

The ’Deep Blue Butcher’ opened his mouth slowly, but when he was halfway through his words, he suddenly turned sideways and attacked with all his strength!

However, the target he wanted to attack was not Ksira, but his disciple Renzel beside him!

But as soon as he tried to move, he found himself unable to move, and a look of despair appeared on his face!
Ksira shook his head and smiled, ”You want to send your disciple off first, and then end your life? You are worthy of being my father’s most loyal believer... But have you forgotten that I, who am standing before you, am an Old One?”

By now, Renzel had realized what the teacher was about to do, but he did not feel any resentment.

Because he had roughly understood the situation at this time, he was shocked!

He didn’t know Ksira, but he had heard of Ksira’s name, so even though he didn’t react at first, he now understood what was going on.

If you put yourself in his shoes and think about it, if he were a teacher, he would probably make the same choice.

But the problem is, as Ksira said, she is an Old One after all.

According to the Old Lington classification, she is a real S-level!
It would be too naive for the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ to do something under her nose.

At this time, Ksira had already walked in front of the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ and placed a hand on his head.

”Shua——!!”

A sound like drinking a drink was heard, and the ’Deep Blue Butcher’ was completely sucked in by the hand that Ksira placed on his head right under Renzel’s nose!

A dignified B-level expert evaporated in just an instant!
”Teacher, no!” Renzel looked at the scene with anger.

After completing this step, Ksira closed his eyes as if he was savoring some wonderful taste. After a while, he opened his eyes again and looked at Rorschach and said:
”Old Lington has indeed been undercurrents lately. Deep Blue, with his status, cannot access the real secrets, but at least we can see that the entire sect is preparing for the upcoming large-scale war.”

”As for the fact that they targeted your sister, Master, they probably thought that she held a secret that the Yellow Sect valued, and they wanted to steal her away.”

Rorschach nodded and said, ”No wonder.”

Ksira then asked, ”Do you need me to sneak back to the R’lyeh sect to get some information?”

”Won’t you be suspected if you go back now?” Rorschach looked at her.

”With my father’s arrogance, he would not believe that I would betray him. In his eyes, I should have been killed by you, Master.” Ksira laughed, ”I just need to find a reason to say that I survived by chance.”

”Well, if you think it’s okay, just do as you wish. If something really goes wrong, I will resurrect you.” Rorschach nodded.

”Okay.”

Ksira chuckled, then looked at Renzel and said, ”I’ll have to borrow your body for a bit... Do you mind, little one?”

”I’ll fight you!”

Renzel rushed towards Ksira with red eyes.

But the next moment, Ksira had disappeared from the spot, and after being shocked, Renzel nodded to Rorschach and left.
