Chapter 181: A Mixed Class of Old Lington, Face to Face with the Yellow ClothesChapter 181: A Mixed Class of Old Lington, Face to Face with the Yellow Clothes
“You actually used my name to gain the trust of that Shoggoth…” The yellow-clothed figure in the train cab suddenly felt amused. “However, since we are dealing with Cthulhu, I won’t bother with you over these small issues.”

Naturally, everything that happened on the train could not escape His sight.

Including the Shoggoth named Barbas, He discovered his origins at the first opportunity.

However, a mere Shoggoth is not worthy of His attention.

It would be almost the same if it was an ancient one.

Although the individual strength of the ancients is ordinary, as a civilization they do have many unique features.

Otherwise, it would be impossible to survive in the era when the rulers are active.

However, although He was not interested in the Shoggoth, when Rorschach found the Shoggoth, the incident itself aroused His interest.

Because He had long seen that Rorschach was a foreign visitor, but He just didn’t know what Rorschach’s purpose was.

He was naturally aware of the so-called competition in the City of Darkness, and he also knew that the truth of this competition was just a game played by that person, so even though he knew that Rorschach was going to the City of Darkness, he did not think much about it.

It was not until this time that Rorschach took the initiative to find the Shoggoth, which made Him realize that the situation might not be that simple.

Because if he remembered correctly, the ancient one behind the Shoggoth was now competing with his old rival for the ownership of several small worlds.

If He was not disdainful of joining forces with others, the enemy of His enemy could theoretically become His friend.

Rorschach is heading to the Lightless City now, and has even expressed his desire to join forces with the Shoggoths. This doesn’t seem like he’s going to honestly participate in the competition.

”Going for Cthulhu?” The yellow-clothed figure pondered over some of the information he knew, and gradually sorted out the clues, ”The Lightless City, the Great Wizard Jiying, Cthulhu, and the foreign visitors... I see.”

As a storyteller, although He is not very interested in intrigues, it is not difficult to guess the truth when there is enough information.

”Another interesting story, good, good.”

The yellow-clothed figure, who had already guessed the truth, became more and more interested in the development of the story, especially when the story involved his old enemy.

……

When Rorschach returned to his seat, Isabel asked curiously, ”Brother, that weirdo... is your friend?”

Isabel’s expression showed a mixture of curiosity and a hint of fear.

Because Barbas was sitting facing her, she could clearly see how Barbas’ eyes were darting around.

Although Barbas looks like an ordinary human, once you see what he did just now, you will not think that he is really a human.

”Friends? Not really, just an acquaintance.” Rorschach shook his head.

Douglas asked tentatively, ”I sense a familiar aura from it. Is it created by that legendary clan...”

”Yeah.” Rorschach nodded, without hiding Barbas’s background.

As a Sequence 3 Saint, Douglas had obviously been exposed to many secrets of this world, so it was not surprising that he knew about the existence of the Ancients.

”Their combat weapons are indeed terrifying. Even the weakest member has strength that is no less than that of a king.” Douglas said solemnly.

”Have you been in contact with him?” Rorschach looked at him.

”We had one contact, which was of a cooperative nature.” Douglas nodded.

This is also the reason why he could feel a familiar aura. It was because he had come into contact with it before that he had some guesses. Otherwise, he would have just felt it was weird at most.

In fact, the world they live in is just one of the many worlds under the Old Ones’ command, and it is not even the main world.

In this group of worlds, the main world is a big world called ’Oldlington’. That world... is the real battlefield of the Old Ones!
Because the world level is extremely high, even the top Old Ones can descend into that world!
Moreover, ’Old Lington’ itself is a world located on a huge world gap, so there are many space channels.

Compared to the Wizarding Camp, the Old Ones Camp is more inclusive.

This is why even during the heyday of the Old Ones, they could accept the Ancients, who came from civilizations of different eras. The decision of the Great Wizard Jiying to defect was obviously also taken into consideration.

Therefore, although ”Old Lington” is located on the gap between the worlds, the Old Ones camp has not thought of blocking those space channels. Instead, it has built ”Old Lington” into a semi-public area. Even though the Old Ones are still the ones who have the final say here, there are also many visitors from other worlds.

The advantage of doing this is that the Old Ones can spread the traces of their existence to more areas through this contact. If there is a disadvantage, it is probably that it will make ”Old Lingdon” more chaotic.

But for the Old Ones, chaos is not necessarily a bad thing, so the Old Ones actually welcome this situation.

As for the world where Rorschach is now, it is just one of the hundreds of small and medium-sized worlds controlled by the Old Ones camp. In terms of world level, it is not even as good as the Eighteen Blood Prisons, and its power limit is only at the critical point of the Moon.

Therefore, all parties will not send their real main forces here, including Barbas the Shoggoth, who is only at the bottom of the Shoggoth clan.

However, even the Ancients could not fully grasp the degree of closeness among the Shoggoths, because the character of the Shoggoths was such that even members of the same clan would tear each other apart if they disagreed with each other.

However, Rorschach could tell from the hint of the True Prison Eye that the actual situation was not the case, which gave him the idea of communicating with Barbas.

He was very satisfied with the result of the communication. Although there were many topics that Babas could not give him a clear answer for the time being, he did not refuse or deny it.

This also means that when Barbas reported these things to his superiors, naturally there would be a higher-level response from the Shoggoths. As expected, the Shoggoths did not disappoint him and quickly gave a reply.

A pleasure to work with.

……

”Now that this is the case, there is only one last step left.” After getting Barbas’s reply, Rorschach stood up again and said to Douglas and O’Hent, ”Please help me take care of it for a while. I have some personal matters to deal with in the back and will be back soon.”

”It’s a small problem. Brother Charlotte, just go and take care of it.” Douglas said with a smile.

As one of the few Sequence 3 Saints on the train, as long as he doesn’t provoke others, no one will take the initiative to provoke him.

What’s more, the person he needs to look after is Rorschach’s sister. There probably aren’t many passengers on the train who would dare to provoke Rorschach. Even those king-level aliens wouldn’t be so bored as to cause trouble for him for no reason.

Ou Hunter naturally had no objection, especially since there was Douglas, the big Buddha, standing next to him, so it was not his turn to worry.

After Rorschach finished speaking, he nodded and walked straight to the second carriage.

When he stepped over the connection point between the two carriages, he felt as if he had entered another world, and the space in front of him instantly expanded a hundred times!
Although this is still on the train, the interior looks like a huge warehouse, which is more than a hundred times larger than the train’s appearance, because the height of this warehouse alone is tens of meters!
The entire warehouse looked like a large square iron box, with only some windows on the wall in the middle of the air, corresponding to the train windows. When Rorschach walked into the carriage, he immediately attracted a lot of attention.

Moreover, most of them were extremely large alien species. Rorschach took a quick look and found that there was not a single human passenger.

”Human?” An alien creature over ten meters tall, whose appearance looked at least seventy percent similar to that of a giant ape, spoke in human language.

This is an atavistic alien species, but because of its size, its strength is definitely stronger than most Sequence 4 demigods.

In this second carriage, the strength of this giant ape species should be considered medium level, but it should be the more active one.

”Please make way.” Rorschach waved his hand, signaling the giant ape to make way.

”it is good.”

Upon hearing this, the giant ape alien immediately made way for Rorschach without saying a word.

Even Rorschach looked at the giant ape alien with some surprise, because he had actually prepared that if the giant ape alien did not give way, he would use this guy as a warning to the others to avoid being disturbed endlessly in the future. However, he did not expect that the giant ape alien would not give him this opportunity at all. His tactfulness was somewhat surprising.

Faced with such a sensible giant ape species, he had no choice but to move forward.

During this process, the other huge alien species also watched him the whole time, but no one provoked him from beginning to end.

This made Rorschach feel like he had punched cotton.

He didn’t encounter any trouble until he reached the other side of the warehouse and headed for the passage to the third carriage.

This made him stop and ask, ”Are you going to stop me or provoke me?”

The giant ape shook his head and said, ”The further we go, the more dangerous the first carriage will be. Don’t think we don’t know you are trying to lure us into law enforcement.”

”Ok.”

Rorschach was speechless and entered the passage.

When he clearly felt that he had entered another space again, all the light in front of him had disappeared, as if he had come to a dark place.

However, vision is no longer necessary for him, so he can still clearly perceive the surrounding situation.

The size of the third carriage is between the first and second carriages, but the number of passengers is the least among the three carriages.

Rorschach took a rough look and found that there were less than ten passengers here.

But this is normal. After all, unless it is a race that inherently dislikes light, even aliens will not choose the third carriage.

Just as Rorschach stepped into the third carriage, a passenger immediately attacked him in the darkness and was knocked to pieces by him with a single punch!
He then wiped his hands and said nothing.

The entire carriage was still silent, as if the other passengers did not exist at all, and did not make any noise.

In the darkness, Rorschach continued to walk backwards.

It was as if he had not been attacked just now.

It was not until he reached the end of the third carriage that he knocked at the back of the carriage. But strangely, even though he was knocking on the back wall, no sound was made.

Just like when he just shot the passenger in the dark, there was no sound.

Obviously, this third carriage not only blocks out any light, but also any sound.

Darkness and silence are the eternal tones here.

After knocking on the wall, Rorschach waited quietly for a moment, until he sensed that there was another passage ahead, and then he walked into it again.

When the light reappeared in front of Rorschach’s eyes, he had arrived in a cockpit that looked very futuristic and technological. At this time, there was only a figure in yellow sitting in the cockpit, holding a sheepskin notebook.

Under the yellow clothes was a leather mask made of unknown material.

The first time Rorschach saw Him, he felt a slight dizziness, which was obviously the invisible influence brought by the old power.

If Rorschach’s real life level wasn’t high enough, he would probably be alienated just by seeing the other person’s current state.

The characteristic of this world is that one cannot look directly at God.

”Should I call you Old Doberman or Your Majesty Hastur?” Rorschach asked directly after seeing the figure in yellow.

”When did you find out?” Hastur, dressed in yellow, was not angry or humiliated by his exposure, but asked with interest.

”When you find out there’s something wrong with me.” Rorschach said calmly.

”Hahahaha, interesting. It seems that I underestimated you...my friend from the wizard camp.” Hastur sighed.

”It seems that Your Majesty Hastur has guessed my purpose.” Rorschach was not surprised that Hastur could guess that he was from the wizard camp.

Just as he had guessed that Hastur would be watching him all the way, he did not deliberately avoid Hastur when doing many of his actions.

This was something he did on purpose.

In order to finally take down the traitor Jiying and escape unscathed, he must have made some preparations. The Shoggoths was one preparation, and the Yellow King Hastur in front of him was another.

Hastur didn’t beat around the bush and said with a smile: ”You have been so obvious along the way, isn’t it just to let me see your ultimate goal? Although I don’t like being used, if the ultimate goal is to make Cthulhu suffer, I don’t mind being used by you...”

”Your Majesty Hastur, aren’t you worried about being considered as colluding with wizards?” Rorschach asked in surprise.

”Why worry? Do you think the other Old Ones don’t have dealings with other camps?” Hastur shook his head and smiled.

Upon hearing this, Rorschach immediately understood what Hastur meant.

To put it the other way around, on the wizard camp side, I’m afraid there are wizards from other wizarding worlds who have some involvement with the Old Camp.

Even though the Old Faction has been engaged in an extraterritorial war with the Blood Hell World Group for a long time, it does not affect the two camps, as each camp has people connected with the other.
