War Sovereign Soaring The Heavens

After Duan Ling Tian destroyed the almost-completed Inter-province Transportation Formation that was set up by the Devil Clans before he returned to the Upper Province, quite a few events had taken place in the Lower Province.

When the Devil Clans discovered that the Inter-province Transportation Formation was destroyed and the Formation Masters from the Devil Clans who were in charge of repairing the Inter-province Transportation Formation had all been killed, many of the Bodiless Celestials from the various Devil Clans were alerted to this.

At the same time, the Bodiless Celestials from the Human-devil clan and various Devil Clans left the Land of Exile and came to the Dao Martial Saint Land. With their joint effort, they forcefully opened a few spatial tears that allowed the vanguards from the Devil Clans to enter the Upper Province. Similar to Duan Ling Tian, these Bodiless Celestials were able to tear a hole in the void to facilitate their travels to the Upper Province. For this reason, the vanguards from the Devil Clans could easily travel to the Upper Province.

The devils who were currently swarming out of the spatial tears were the vanguards from the Devil Clans.

The people from the Upper Province of the Dao Martial Saint Land were distracted by the matter between the Seven Absolutes Sect and the dragon clan so they did not realize the Devil Clans had already invaded the Upper Province, let alone make preparations to fend off the Devil Clans.

It did not take long before the vanguards from the Devil Clans engaged in a one-sided slaughter with the people from the Upper Province!

Humans were fleeing for their lives in all directions. In just a blink of an eye, the Upper Province fell into chaos. The people discovered that the devils were much stronger than them.

“It’s the Devil Clans! They’re from the Devil Clans!”

“The Devil Clans have invaded the Upper Province! Help!”

Although there were strong powerhouses in the Upper Province, they were easily drowned by the sheer number of devils. Moreover, compared to the united devils, humans were similar to scattered leaves. It took only a month before one-tenth of the Upper Province was conquered by the Devil Clans.

It was at this moment that the entire Upper Province was alerted to the invasion by the Devil Clans. Everyone was shocked by the tragedy!

…

In Seven Absolutes Sect’s temporary estate that was located in a snow-capped mountain in the northern region.

The Old Prophet was shocked when he received news about the Devil Clans invasion. “I thought the sect leader said that he had destroyed the almost-completed Inter-province Transportation Formation in the Lower Province before he returned to the Upper Province? How did this happen?”

When the Old Prophet received subsequent news about the Devil Clans, he finally discovered how the Devil Clans managed to make their way to the Upper Province. ‘As it turned out, the Bodiless Celestials from the Devil Clans made a move and helped open spatial tears that lead to the Upper Province. Since the Bodiless Celestials from the Devil Clans have made a move, I’m afraid the human Bodiless Celestials could no longer afford to sit back and watch…’

Soon after, the Old Prophet’s expression darkened when he recalled something, ‘No! Most Bodiless Celestials are gathered in the northern region. If a battle were to take place between the Bodiless Celestials from the Devil Clans and human Bodiless Celestials, the battlefield would most likely be in the northern region. I’m afraid our temporary estate will be affected as well! It seems like I better bring the few people in the sect with me to the hidden ice mountain!’

The Old Prophet did not waste any time and quickly brought Duan Si Ling, Gan Ru Yan, and Qing Huo with him, leaving the Seven Absolutes Sect’s temporary estate for the hidden ice mountain where they had opened the Sword Saint Secret Zone. When they arrived at the ice mountain, they quickly constructed a few wooden sheds.

…

In just a blink of an eye, a month had passed.

During this one month, the Devil Clans completed the repairs of the Inter-province Transportation Formation in the Lower Province so that the rest of the Devil Clans could come to the Upper Province.

During this time, a few Bodiless Celestials from the Devil Clans had also battled with the human Bodiless Celestials in the Upper Province. In comparison to the Bodiless Celestials from the Devil Clans, the human Bodiless Celestials were much weaker even though their cultivation base was the same. After all, the Devil Clans were bloodthirsty and combative. It gave them an edge over the human powerhouses. During the battles, many human Bodiless Celestials and Bodiless Celestials from the Devil Clans had fallen, but in comparison, humans lost many more Bodiless Celestials.

It did not take long before the dragon and phoenix clans made announcements of their own.

The phoenix clan had said if the Devil Clans did not return to the Land of Exile in a month, they would annihilate the Devil Clans.

On the other hand, the dragon clan also declared war on the Devil Clans if they failed to leave the Dao Martial Saint Land after a month.

The people in the Upper Province were, naturally, skeptical when they heard about the phoenix clan. They knew the dragon clan was strong after it was revealed that they had many Bodiless Celestials in their clan, including Five and Seven Tribulation Bodiless Celestials. However, apart from the Bodiless Celestials, most people were unaware that the phoenix clan was just as strong as the dragon clan. For this reason, they were filled with doubts when they heard the phoenix clan’s announcement. They were only enlightened when some Bodiless Celestials stepped forward to correct their misgivings. They learned that the phoenix clan was not inferior to the dragon clan in terms of resources and Bodiless Celestials!

“I didn’t expect the phoenix clan would be so powerful as well!”

“You’re right. Who knew that the three great sects, the Fire Worship Sect, the Black Kshetra Sect, and the Heaven Divination Sect, that we thought are the strongest forces in the Dao Martial Saint Land are inferior to the dragon and phoenix clans that we always thought were weaker.”

“The dragon and phoenix clans, the two strongest forces in the Dao Martial Saint Land, have announced that they’ll declare war on the Devil Clans if the Devil Clans don’t withdraw their forces and return to the Land of Exile!”

“However, the Devil Clans are so fierce and bloodthirsty! Will they retreat just because the dragon and phoenix clans asked them to?”

Although the dragon and phoenix clans had made their stance clear, not many people believed that the Devil Clans would retreat after a month. If the Devil Clans were afraid of the dragon and phoenix clans, would they have invaded and slaughtered so many people in the Upper Province? How could they be so foolish if they were truly afraid?

Indeed. Just as expected, the Devil Clans completely disregarded the warning from the dragon and phoenix clans.

After a month had passed, many Bodiless Celestials were sent out of the dragon and phoenix clans. The Fire Worship Sect, the Black Kshetra Sect, and the Heaven Divination Sect were stunned when they saw the Bodiless Celestials who were sent out by the dragon and phoenix clans. The first group of Bodiless Celestials who were sent out by the dragon and phoenix clans was mostly ancestors from the three great sects! How could they not feel shocked? They had always thought there were no Bodiless Celestials in their sects. As it turned out, all of their Bodiless Celestials had joined either the dragon or phoenix clan! Naturally, the people from the three great sects were in an uproar.

“What happened?”

“Why did the Bodiless Celestials from our Fire Worship Sect deserted our sect and joined dragon and phoenix clans?”

“Why didn’t they stay in our Black Kshetra Sect and lead our sect to glory? How could they choose to become dogs in the dragon and phoenix clans?”

Most people from the three great sects could not figure out why their ancestors would desert their respective sects and join the dragon and phoenix clans. Moreover, they seemed willing to obey the commands from the dragon and phoenix clans to the point that they even decided to risk their lives and serve as vanguards for the dragon and phoenix clans in their bid for war against the Devil Clans!

Naturally, these people were unaware that their ancestors did not willingly decide to serve as vanguards for the dragon and phoenix clans. How could their ancestors not be aware that their chances of survival were extremely slim? However, they had no choice but to step forward and serve as vanguards since they knew they would definitely die if they defied the orders from the dragon and phoenix clan. Those powerhouses from the dragon and phoenix clans were not to be trifled with. At the very least, if they agreed to serve as vanguards, they still have a chance of survival.

…

In a hidden ice mountain in the northern region.

“Although I’ve heard from the sect leader that the dragon and phoenix clans had abducted many Bodiless Celestials from the three great sects, I didn’t think the number of Bodiless Celestials they’ve abducted would be so great!”

Although the Old Prophet was currently staying in the isolated ice mountain in the northern region, he still knew what was going on. After all, he had the Red Dust Progeny’s wide information network. After the death of Han Xue Nai’s master, he had temporarily taken charge of the Red Dust Progeny’s information network. He would return the reins to Han Xue Nai once she returned from the Sword Saint Secret Zone.

After a while, his trains of thoughts changed as he mused inwardly, ‘It’s been half a year since sect leader and the others entered the Sword Saint Secret Zone. I wonder what happened to them during these six months…’

…

In the Beyond Heaven Secret Zone.

“Beyond Heaven Secret Zone? So, this place is not the Sword Saint Secret Zone, but it’s known as the Beyond Heaven Secret Zone! Moreover, apart from the few of us, there are also people from another four mundane realms.” In the past six months, Duan Ling Tian had encountered two groups of people from two different mundane realms. These people decided to gang up on him to steal from him when they saw he was alone. Unfortunately, all of them were killed by Duan Ling Tian!
