Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 269: Aftermath, Hollowstar’s Change of Plans

Planet Eldoren, Midnight Empire, Leveraum Dukedome.

”Noooo!!”

A middle-aged man with blond hair and dark skin roared as the air trembled, decorations turned into dust in the hall, and everything shook like an earthquake.

”My son!”

The Archduke cried in anguish at his son’s death.

”Father…”

A young man looking in his twenties stood at the entrance of the hall, his eyes reflecting the agonized figure of his father.

”He was cut into pieces, Vel! Your brother…” the Archduke arrived before his elder son, eyes bloodshot, almost maddening. ”His pieces…”

Vel bit his lips and kept his hands behind his back as they clenched tightly. ”I found out who killed him, father. The culprit is from planet Earth, and we can avenge him by invading them and killing that human called Almond. The ones who managed to escape told us about him.”

”Revenge, yes. Whoever killed your brother, my son….they must die.”

Vel firmly nodded, his eyes glinting red with wrath. ”We have to collect one million battlefield points and buy an item called Invasion Compass for someone to invade. For now, the Emperor has called us and others who lost their sons and daughters. Please compose yourself and come. We have to finish the last rites of El.”

…

In the Empyradrake and Cyberterra worlds, people grieved as they lost their young ones.

And all of them knew that the culprit was Almond and his name was spreading far and wide from those who escaped by surrendering.

Meanwhile, Almond was enjoying a passionate time with Lily after returning and leaving everything in the hands of his spirit wraiths, grim breakers, and other gold rankers.

The next morning at 5 a.m. Almond and Lily woke up one by one and went to the war event to check out the situation.

The other two planets didn’t make any move and appeared quiet. All three of them had roughly fifteen people remaining each, and they even lost their leaders, and artifacts they had, so they were depressed and demoralized and didn’t bear any hope of winning.

Almond didn’t plan to participate in the war anymore as he could use that time to train, get stronger, and finish some other matters. However, he did help by spending two hours roaming around and creating portals.

Planet Earth had seven tribes under them and six deity statues. They also had more powerhouses than the other three planet’s allies.

Of course, if the enemy continued to work together, they still had a higher number, but that didn’t matter because their alliance was shaky after the big loss they had.

Almond set up five portals at five hidden locations and nearly two kilometers of these locations were areas of enemy tribes.

After doing that, he just told the gold rankers to invade as they liked and conquer the tribes.

Lily became their new commander because she was witty and sharp when it came to the war as well, and immediately routed the first tribe within an hour by going all out and using the Avantana tribe’s guardian deity statue.

That tribe was allied to Cyberterra, and one person stationed there escaped by surrendering. Enjoy new stories from

Meanwhile, Almond didn’t bother with the war event anymore and returned. He reported to the Admiral about everything and also handed over the three flying ships he got along with the Hermes’ Winged Sandles that he had borrowed.

Afterward, Almond returned to his castle and started moving it to his new territory in the sanctuary area.

His territory, Mountain of Radiant Zenith, was magic-rich, and it could also grow ten plants fast with powerful growth as it was a Throne-tier territory.

He set up the personal teleporter designation, which could take him right to the GAA headquarters from this throne territory.

’As for the plants, once we’ve conquered more tribes, I’ll recall Sylvia and Nyssara so they can tend to this territory.’

Almond arrived in the Garden of Peace, all alone in the entire mountain and castle. Without wasting any more time, he sat down cross-legged in the Revelation Pavilion and activated his Weapon Art Token after eating the X-Factor fruit.

’Let’s finish this. The experience I gained in that trial for 10 months with my sword will be helpful. I will learn this art’s first stage in the next 24 hours by grasping its intent!’

…

On a meteorite streaking through space, within its center, a familiar figure lay, protected within a violet and black film.

Lerkeion.

”I apologize, my lord. The planet Earth has a powerful warrior with terrifying mastery in space and a sword. He sent me far away from Earth by creating a void, throwing me away at random coordinates.”

In front of Lerkeion was a hologram showing a hooded figure.

”This is strange,” the figure said. ”These four worlds participating in phase 1 like this is not a coincidence. An overseer may have interfered to make these four worlds compete against each other.”

”Each of the other three worlds has an Arcane champion of Eternal will, and they already suppressed our forces in their worlds, but now, this planet Earth we were eyeing also turned out to have one such champion.”

Lerkeion was silent as he just listened, feeling the frustration in his lord’s voice.

”There’s no other choice. Hollowstar is hungry, and we need to feed it a rich planet. We can’t wait for one of them to fail in the Grimworld’s Tutorial before devouring it. We have to act now.”

Lerkeion’s pupils shrank, ”You mean…are you going to disrupt the Grimworld’s Tutorial?”

”Each of those four worlds has an arcane champion. They are sufficiently disruptors, but their presence almost guarantees that their world will pass the tutorial. So, we are out of options now.”

”But if we make a big move, the overseer will be able to stop us, no?” Lerkeion asked, frowning.

”This is but a game of entertainment for the lords of Grimworld,” the hooded figure’s voice turned serene, devoid of previous frustration. ”I will make arrangements and then observe these four worlds. Depending on their progression and development, we will choose one and disrupt it, bringing chaos over it. The masters won’t care as long as the champions survive and ascend.”

”As for you, go back to the headquarters and prepare for your ascension. You’ve stayed in the universe layer enough. It’s time to move to the Grimworld.”

”As you wish, my lord,” Lerkeion said, his eyes dancing with excitement. ’Finally, I can go up!’
