Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 257: Dance of Gloomy Reaper

”What?!”

”He really brought that terrifying dragon’s tooth!”

”Moooo!!!”

The Avantana Tribe was shocked and disbelief as they saw the giant tooth floating above Almond.

The Tribe Leader’s eyes trembled as he looked at the tooth. He soon snapped out of his reverie and knelt on one knee towards Almond.

”You have my utmost respect, human warrior. Please, bestow us that tooth, and you have our tribe’s trust and alliance.”

Almond smiled as the tooth flew toward the black bull, who respectfully raised his hands and palms open. The tooth landed on his hands, and the bull looked at it emotionally before standing up and nodding at Almond.

”May I know your name?”

”Almond.”

”Come in, brave warrior Almond. I, Bassara Avantana, welcome you to my tribe.”

The other warriors cheered and roared in excitement as their tribe was going to get powerful with their ultimate weapon being completed and gaining new trustworthy allies!

…

The Tribe Leader sent the tooth to blacksmiths to complete the tribal weapon before taking Almond to the tribe chief’s palace.

After talking with the chief, Almond found out that all tribes were at war, intending to conquer each other and unify this Region of Wildered.

The reason for this war was a legend of Wildered—when the entire region is unified under one banner, this region will return to its ancestral land, in a bigger world. Experience tales with

For now, this region stretching 600 kilometers in diameter was like a pocket world with nothing but darkness at its borders.

After talking and getting information, Almond made some plans with the Tribe leader and also decided to make a teleport gate to connect the tribe with their base.

Since it wasn’t a legitimate teleportation gate with proper formation and space matter that could be powered by magic stones, Almond had to refill its energy himself.

Fortunately, he could make it last for 30 hours before needing to power it again.

After making a gate there, Almond returned to the base and built the gate there.

He informed the people building the base that the teleport gate led to their new ally—Avantana Tribe and also told them the information about this War.

Afterward, Almond went to visit the four groups one by one.

The five suspicious spots with high magic readings indeed had something good.

…

Party 1 was the shortest but most powerful as it consisted of Lily, Natalia, Marcus, Anya, and Alfred investigating the Hidden Canyon with a magical river that flowed on both sides, ultimately staying in the belt of the canyon without flowing out of it.

Its water was also magical, and they could feel a powerful presence inside the river.

Everyone’s Focus Line couldn’t enter the river, making it impossible for them to detect, but Lily empowered her Focus Line with her Shadowpierce Intent, forcefully penetrating through it.

So far, Lily could penetrate anywhere where a shadow or darkness was present. And this wasn’t the normal type of penetration where she had to break something in order to enter, but ethereal. Wherever there was shadow or darkness, she could pierce there or pierce out of there.

The river had darkness inside and also shadow, so her Focus Line easily went inside.

There, she observed a giant snake slithering inside.

’There’s one more thing…’ Lily’s eyes glinted. ’The snake is protecting it.’

Suddenly, she saw the snake looking at her and knew it was time.

*Splash!*

The giant snake burst out of the water, its length over a hundred meters and five meters of thickness with four deadly fangs at its mouth.

”Damn, it’s an Epic-rank boss!”

”Nice, let’s kill it.”

However, Lily suddenly said, ”Don’t do anything.”

”I will kill it on my own.”

”What? But all of its stats are 2000!” Natalia was speechless. ”You sure you won’t die, girl?”

”I won’t,” Lily narrowed her eyes at the snake as her daggers lit up with Dreadspire Elements—Blackened Flame and Withered Wind.

”Just watch.”

Adorning her slick and sexy full-body black assassin gear set, Lily streaked across the sky like a shadow and abruptly vanished halfway as she did a shadow drift and appeared behind the snake.

She already activated another of her specialized class skills—Dreadspire Mantle1 as a fancy black cloak-looking ethereal manifested behind her.

Weapon Art—Umbral Reaper’s Shadowy Gloom, first stage: Dance of Gloomy Reaper!

Lily’s figure turned shadowy while both daggers in her hand that were enchanted and buff razored through the snake as she moved blindingly around its body, cutting it.

Each cut produced a blade within the snake’s body with shadowpierce intent, cutting outward from inside.

The power of this first stage was devastating as each of her attacks was counted as two, and it was already highly penetrative, but turned more potent and corrosive with Dreadspire Dominion as blood poured from the snake as she ripped apart the tough exterior of this Epic-rank boss monster!

The snake slammed into the water as it was getting significantly damaged, but Lily vanished like a shadow and drifted from its shadow into the water before continuing.

All the blood that she bled out from the snake gathered as she controlled it and transformed it into chains to bind the snake! It was the blood of the snake, and it was further empowered with Lily’s Blood element, on top of that, Lily’s gauge was filled with attacks from Dance of Gloomy Reaper Art, so she also summoned Gloombound Golem, completely binding the snake in the water!

Inside the water, Lily continued with her dance after chugging a potion and sacrificing half of her vitality to empower herself further.

*Hiss!!*

The snake poured poison into the water and controlled its waves to shake Lily off its body and stop her from lacerating it.

However, Lily turned completely elemental with the psychophysiology of her darkness element, and darkness couldn’t be affected by poison!

More so when her darkness elemental mastery was at Epic rank!

Her glinting daggers continued as she wielded them while being a stream of dark shadow whose lashes held the dagger, her Dance of Gloomy Reaper shredding the boss without pause!
